    two Months later And I am watching the three year old episode again. When a relaxing end of day Billlyfishing is in que I save it. After the overload of TH-cam has been wearing on me, politics, other wildness in the world, the sound of waves and laughter from Billyfishing is a welcome tonic. Expected the Japan beaches were much over fished by the time you arrived. I don't seem to have any new vids ques from the past so I just watch the old ones over. Had fun with one with your brother. My youngest brother turned 65 yesterday. 78 in Seattle.

    I am a massive fan of lure fishing and this video demonstrates that it can easily be combined with bait fishing if you are a little creative. You are a flippin genius Billy - and catching a "Falmon" on this experimental setup is super amazing. I am learning a lot from your videos and have placed orders for Mustad circle hooks to make BF hair rigs. Legend!

    • @Billyfishing_watch
      @Billyfishing_watch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Viking, you don't really need the hair for that rig, I fish them with out on tuff baits , like squid and mackerel belle, just put the bait on the outside of the bait clip. Follow the link if you need some visuals, thanks brother 👍😁

      @@Billyfishing_watch Thank you - yes, the hair rigs will be used for bait fishing. I often cast a lure out (while bait fishing) around the top of the tide as the bass patrol the shoreline at that time.

    If your unsure if it's a salmon or a sea trout next time Billy... Try to pick the fish up by its tail..... You can't pick up a sea trout by the rist (tail) of the trout but you can with a salmon bro.... Great catch... We get them in my local estuary when fishing for bass 👌🎣 keep up the good work brother

    Found it. Thx, Billy. Home, sweet home. You should look up 'Spin 'N' Glow's as attractors, they will lift the bait a little off the bottom. They come in different sizes, colours, and rotate when retrieved. And instead of just a piece of lead, we use a 60-70 gram shiny metal bait with the treble hook removed, or a 'Flattie Spoon'. But same active fishing technique as here, so you're seeking them out, insted of just waiting for them to find the bait. Have a nice Sunday.

    • @Billyfishing_watch
      @Billyfishing_watch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I fish like that some times but not much sand on that beach mostly small stones for a 100, mts ,so a very long cast is needed, Thanks Brother 👍😁

    • @ErikDeMann
      @ErikDeMann 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Billyfishing_watch Sounds like you found yourself an excellent spot for turbot there, mate. ;) If they are in that area, you won't need those long casts. They hunt right where the waves are breaking, early morning, late afternoon, where they can hide from the sandeels in the 'foggy', less transparent water.
