This is brilliant. I'd be all over this if it was an official set and I'd buy multiple. Halo has so much potential for structure builds. I'm still surprised they haven't done a FOB yet.
For real. They need to get on that. The only way to build decently sized structures is buying hundreds of dollars worth of vehicles and any sets that come with tiny little terrain and structure builds. It's sad because Halo has always been known for stunning structures, ships, and environments.

Ryatt - I couldn't agree more, it's currently expensive and frustrating for most to create anything other than vehicle MOCs. I'm going to use the resources I have to hand to try and help change this by influencing the communities voice on this. Thanks for all your feedback and thoughts, you're bang on the money!
I've been DYING for Mega to do more Forerunner structures/set pieces. I get giddy anytime I get some older forerunner structure or silver bricks in lots. I love it Brickman!
Thanks Ebomb, I'm the same, whenever I get either anything forerunner or Flood in a used haul I'm a happy man. It's like finding gems.
I hope the new Flood set does well so they're encouraged to do more.
Figures and vehicles should of course be the main focus but they should try something like a new Battlescape line with a few different shaped terrain pieces instead of just one being recolored.
New building box sets that come with good parts for Forerunner builds, Banished builds, and Covenant builds would be nice too, just to cover all the bases and give people more to do with the battlescapes.
I'm no expert but I think these would sell very well. People love their Halo vehicles and figures but they love having a cool place to put them almost as much. I know army builders would be especially pleased.
All amazing suggestions. You can tell who the MOC builders are as we all want the same thing. I'd love to know the numbers on the UNSC building box that they released, I'm guessing they weren't great as if they were I think we would have already seen a Banished version by now.
I've got some ideas to get us the parts we need from a building box set in the form of a general consumer set (a bit like the Traxus Tower). So many people will buy the Traxus Tower for the figs and play focus side of it but just as many MOC builders will buy multiple sets for the parts, this should result in a win for everyone including MEGA. I have some future ideas builds I'm working on to build on this concept.
I'd love to see more Firebase sets. Like maybe that command center that was in the HW1 Beta, a Reactor, and a Supply Pad. A Barracks could be sick af too.
Agreed, the Halo Wars firebase series of buildings seems like a no brainier and would make excellent army builder sets for customer builders.
Honestly honestly this is one of the absolutely brilliant and amazing set I have seen created. Truly incredible. This I must say is genius!!! This is what Mega is meant for, creating original ideas like this. Well Done !!!

This is just amazing 🤩 I personally think MEGA should just grab on to this, without any modifications, give you your share for rights, and make a ton of profit. So thought-out design. Playability, design, use of existing parts. Super!

As nice as it would be for MEGA to just produce a set based off of one of my ideas the main goal is to see if we can encourage them to dip their toes into producing more structure based army building sets so we can create some real magic!

This is so cool. Really creative and using existing pieces. The original sentinels were much better. Mega seems not very interested in releasing dioramas anymore which is probably what I enjoy the most. Good thing we have you :)
Some ideas:
Marine prison? Similar to the H2 level where you rescue them or brute holding cells from SPV3?
NMPD diorama is another one that was popular with the ODST game.
Infinity fleet with micro build frigates and cruisers.
Ultimate UNSC firebase.

Hopefully if I can keep producing these types of builds and the community continues to respond well to them in the comments MEGA may decide to have a bash at something more structure and Diorama friendly off all us MOC builders.

I especially love using the turret stands on top of the containers, it's usually a very specifically used piece

Absolutely love this idea! Mega lends very well to dioramas, I think far better than legos, id love to see mega embrace that
I couldn't be agree more, the unique parts created by MEGA over the years give so much variety. Whilst Legos parts library is extensive I still prefer to create using Mega.
Honestly mega has been so good that I still buy them and I’m like 21 lol. They are improving so well but a build set like this would be the icing on the cake. Honestly as long as mega stays making halo stuff they will get mg money but a set like that would be an instant no brained

I absoloutely love this build. The idea of a more scenery-intensive display environment works really well with a more premium product - and I love how this focuses on a portion of the franchise which we often see but scarcely focus on. I'd love to see you try your hand at a more aesthetically-pleasing version of the Infinity Armour Bay. I think that could be a really cool vignette-style build.
Thanks Tom, glad you like it, was fun to put together. I've thought about doing an Infinity armour bay set but I stupidly only ever got one set as I wasn't bothered about them at the time. I've picked up on additional in a haul but other than that I don't tend to come across them for a reasonable price. That's why I buy anything that's on special now, bond to come in handy at some point.
I think this is a groundbreaking great idea to have a Halo Mega bloks diorama. It would be a great edition for us Halo fans, what is more interesting as always is a fight scene between Flood and humans and Forerunner sentinels in the mix. This diorama you made is crazy good and we should’ve already have seen these come out. But anyway, would be cool to see the cutscenes from the games, terminal scenes put into building form for us so we have the exact replica of the incredible scene

Is is stunning as always, love the use of alternative blocks and the fact that’s there’s multiples of them so if this was a set we could easily start a huge collection of these unique blocks with just two or three sets! A flood MOC I’d love to see would have to the room where you first encounter the flood in Halo CE

This is so cool! I really love these forerunner terrain sets, and getting more terrain sets would be spectacular! I remember seeing something like this from a halo 3 map, but super floodified! I also love this set being a good way to get some flood pure forms! Also that old sentinel is pure nostalgia, I loved when we used to get sentinel beams! Great video and keep up the awesome work!

Amazing work I would like to see more structures sets like you said the parts that go in to them would help build up sets or reserve parts that would nice to have. We don’t get to many structures sets and when we did they are so limited and hard to find. Fantastic work and by integrating the sentinel in to it makes it pop more

I know I am a week late for commenting but this is fantastic. With Lego doing Star Wars diorama sets I think it would only make sense for mega to do these types of sets with Halo. I know I’d buy this set immediately if mega were to produce it
Never too late for the comments section. Given Mega clearly has a strong following in the 15-25 year old category you would think these type of set would be popular but who knows.

The lack of parts packs or sets that are cheap for good parts is unfortunate. I have picked up several of the ring display sets at a majorly discounted price recently. They are full of reallly useful parts!
Agreed, I wanted to pick up a load of ring display sets for all of the black tiles included and small pieces but ended up getting the needlers instead.

I don't do Lego, so I don't quite understand what you mean with 18+ line. Does it mean that its a complicated build and the recommended age is 18? By the by, I love this diorama idea and is one I would totally buy if it were ever made officially.

The 18+ line is LEGOs way of letting consumers know that a set would probably not be well suited to younger consumers, they can either be larger or more challenging builds than usual or they might not come with minifigures or they may be designed purely as a display piece. It doesn't actually mean that you need to be 18 to enjoy it or purchase it or complete it, they just don't want a granny buying a set for an 8 year old grandchild that wouldn't be suited to them, so they stick 18+ on the box to make it clear that it's better suited to adults or older kids that generally want different things from Lego.

This isn't a set I've considered for an update because the original is so good and still stands up well to a lot of today's builds.
That said, after seeing How they updated the sparow hawk for the anniversary aerial ambush set it could make a spectacular rerelease, especially if they threw an additional 1000 pieces at it turning it into a structure based signature set. They could expand the the launch pad to include service vehicles and a more detailed gantry.

would love a signature thats not a ship or a vehicle rather a big unsc base or covenant/banished with a bunch of figures and play features like a mountain cave from lego minecraft.
I think many people want this but I can't see MEGA coming away from vehicles for the Signature line. I think it's more likely they will create a separate line under its own name to produce large scale base building sets. That way we get both.

Battlescapes were cool but they're only resold for like $200+ these days. If someone's even selling one whenever you check. I don't think they were produced a lot.
With how big the army building and diorama scene has gotten with Mega, I know for a fact a rereleased Battlescape line with a few new large and unique terrain molds would sell excellently.

Mega needs to start making real sets again. Yes their figures are beautiful but the reason why I buy more Lego than mega is because mega only makes figure packs now and their sets are impossible to get. Making iconic diorama sets like this would fix that issue perfectly. You get great figures that mega excels at AND a nice display set.

I sadly wasn’t collecting mega at the time when the flood was around and would love to have them to have in som sort of way covenant/Banished with the UNSC together trying to to the best of there abilities stand the endless onslaught the flood

Love the content as always been watching for so long since I was like 16 17 I'm now boutta be 19 in January a lot of my stuff has been destroyed sadly,😔😭 been dragging having no motivation because I have so many sets I would love to meet in person so you could help me I'll even bring my sets however I'm down I would your help I feel you would know best which sets I have and how to help rebuild them I have all the pieces I can get them all together in about 2 or 3 bins please let me know if you like to help me Id prolly have to make some money first to come to you if you wouldn't mind I'm in Antioch Illinois if just hurts looking at all the pieces because it's the last of my childhood please get back to me thank you
Hey, just focus on sorting your parts into colours first, once separated keep all of the colours in their own bags. Then choose one set to build, the smaller the better. Build it until you can't find a piece and then just put it to the side for later when you have less pieces to hunt through. Then move onto the next smallest set and do the same. There's no quick way to do it sadly but this is how I do it when I'm sorting out the massive eBay hauls I get.

Why does it say 18+
Because its not a play set, Lego use the format to let custers know the set doesn't do anything, it's just for looking at. It's not because you'd need to be 18 to buy it, it just means it would be aimed at older collectors.
