AmelieGrace it’s understandable to feel mixed emotions. It’s easy to not feel bad because she kidnapped jack, but at the same time we stole her horses, liquor, and murdered her sons right in front of her. She is still a human being (albeit not really a nice one).
there is another towards the end with horses riding down a hill like gandalf at the end of two towers well not that steep but its a full on sprint towards enemies and the shot is similar to this. it is equally epic.

Violence isn't pretty, and damages the soul. This is the point where Dutch really starts to come apart.

I honestly think we should play as Uncle. He was young in the the golden age of the wild west. And you don't get to be old in that life without being a badass. Maybe we see what drove him to alcoholism, how he met up with Dutch's gang and have another passing of the torch, with the game ending with us playing as Arthur

But it would be cool if all of those characters are from opposite camps like the cops, dutchs gang, some stranger / lone wolf. ofc you cant kill dutch or that part of the gang we know but thats can be done with good storytelling.

I feel like a comic relief character like Uncle is a bit easier to pull of, cos in the first two you think "God what an arsehole" but if we see what made him like that, itd make the whole playing experience different

The attack on the Braithwaite manor is one of the most epic moments in gaming. Riding up to the front gate felt like riding to the gates of hell, but the aftermath tells you that even demons would run if the Van Der Linde gang rides.
This mission when you go to the Braithwaites is probably my absolute favorite one in the game. Just the entire gang gets together and you can feel the bond they share so well!
I love how Marz is quite troubled by the assault on the manor. Meanwhile (even though I completed RDR1) I was fucking pumped and didn't hesitate to kill all the Braithwaites and loved every second of that mission.
Man watching this reaction in particular makes it clear why Sean's death was really well planned. The player has just warmed up to a character they freed only recently. This makes the death feel all the more sudden, and leaves the player feeling just like Arthur, not sad but angry. Really makes one feel invested in that shootout.
That path through the breathweight manor or whatever is amazing with tall trees and that moon glare my god this game was beautiful. Best scenery tho is the swamp area when the sun is rising makes my mouth drop all the time !

I'd love to know how much talking I missed. They should have a stat at the end of the game like, Total Dialogue You Have Heard = 12% lol.
I wouldn't feel bad for the Braithwaites, they definitely held slaves and treat the county like it's their own personal warzone by quarrelling with the Grays.

"So, anyways" It still amazes me the amount of dialogue they recorded for almost every single situation you can think of. Even yelling all the same lines when you're riding too far away. I'd love to know how much talking I missed. They should have a stat at the end of the game like, Total Dialogue You Have Heard = 12% lol.
