Deadpool 2 is 2018 action/comedy based on the comic book character, Deadpool. The film is directed by David Leitch, of John Wick fame, and stars Ryan Reynolds as the Merc With a Mouth.

Saying "Its deapool dont take it too seriously" is the reason why lazy bastards like Ryan Reynolds keep shitting out mediocre movies.
If it was the hit Hacknolds claims it was then it wouldn't have dropped so badly in the last few weeks.
Being the second biggest event is also easy when we are just half a year into 2018 and all other movies were either smaller ones or just bad.
The movie is incredibly weak. The jokes are lame and the pacing is terrible. Firing Tim Miller to have Renolds take the reign was a bad idea. First Deadpool movie is almost perfect.

I can't believe that I had to look this deep into TH-cam to find someone who didn't love this movie. I agree completely with your points, by the way. The jokes were okay the first time, but repeating them ALL in this movie didn't work for me at all and most of the new jokes fell flat too. Honestly, Deadpool saying something like "holy shit-ballz" got annoying in the first one. And yeah, Domino was the only redeeming feature for me as well.
Obnoxious is the best description that I can give of this movie. It was so boring and unfunny. I don't see why anyone liked it.

In the comics Deadpool's girlfriend ran away from him in terror after seeing his face. Deadpool grieving over the loss of some woman isn't my Deadpool. Thanks, Hollywood. Almost half of the movie he envisions and grieves.

You know if at the end of the movie Deadpool finally just gets super annoyed at the kid and says "fuck it" then kills the kid himself while looking at the camera and just shrugs.

You get a like, sir! You are right. This sentimental Deadpool is not the deadpool we used to know and love. I would have loved, if, after getting burned, he had shat a gun out and just shot that fat fuack in the head. I think that was the biggest problem in the movie. One just didn't care about the child and neither about his girlfriend. It didn't really work out. If that had been the ending, it had got a better rating from me. +1 to maybe 6-7/10, but yeah. There is too much wrong to just fix it with that.
The saddest thing for me is that a real X-Force movie was replaced by this. Why is Hollywood becoming a trash factory? I wonder if Disney is driving quality down. Maybe it's the Little Caesar's of Hollywood. Let's hope Comcast buys Fox and can improve it. Universal has done well under it.

+Deadpool Guy You're right. What I mean is that Disney is putting out garbage products that sell really well which forces other studios to put out shit. The quality of pizza has seemed to drop dramatically after Little Caesar's started putting out it's awful cheapo pizzas. Now it's impossible to find really good pizza anywhere. The same thing seems to be happening to Hollywood, except that it's the stories and aesthetics that are being cheapened.
My biggest problem with the movie is that nothing makes any fucking sense what so ever. even for a Deadpool movie. The 1st one nailed it perfectly, It was edgy, self aware and didn't take it self to seriousoly BUT you understood what the fuck was going on. Most of the 2nd movie Im just sitting there thinking like what in holy fuck is going on in this movie. Nothing makes any sense at all
The pacing is terrible and the story goes nowhere and the worst part is it has no villains. It instead expects some fat kiwi kid to carry the whole movie which fails spectacularly. And then we're supposed to be impressed by juggernaut showing up when it sounds like an edgy twelve year old wrote his dialogue and he really doesn't do anything. I appreciate deadpool, I realise we probably wouldn't have Logan without it but this was a massive own goal imo.

Terrible movie. Absolutely hated the character. Spoiled brat narsacist dumb disturbingly offensive non-humor. I walked out durring the last fight scene 'cause I couldn't have cared less for the character, or what was going to happen. Ryan Renolds comes off as a total douche. Hollywood doesn't get it.

They make the same joke from the first one about the studio not being able to afford more xmen, then undermine it by throwing a bunch in the background but it is so poorly shot you can't even see who they all were. Beast and quicksilver maybe? Couldn't even see the rest.

1. Deadpool is not in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
2. Deadpool is not invincible, he can very much die. He regenerates. He can regenerate his entire body from one small sliver of flesh. He's died countless times, staying dead is the problem.

Really wanted this movie to be good, I really really did...But really sad to say that this movie sucked. Too many references that an average viewer who isn't in his 40s won't get, plot was really unsurprising, first 20mins was quite boring and things just felt really lackluster overall. I think the only thing that was good was the end credits where he goes back in time and rewrites everything that is wrong. That is about it. Other parts are just incohesive and the jokes were too many and too try-hard. Totally agree with the 4th wall being used too much to carry the movie, the lazy joke writing was so true, dude I wish the writers and everyone saw your video because this is the truth.

The scene where he had a toddler lower body was horrible, and made no sense. Why in this instance did he have to regrow half his body, when a few scenes earlier, he blew his entire body apart and was nothing but a decapitated head. Why didn't he have to regrow his entire body???

It had a bit too much Van Wilder-esque quipping. It gets repetitive seeing Deadpool say something obnoxious, cut to people around him looking disgusted, cut to Deadpool saying something obnoxious, cut to people around him looking disgusted, repeat. The movie kept halting everything so we could listen to him rattle off self-aware quips. I enjoyed Domino and Cable because they kept moving the film forward with their action scenes.
Its all Reynolds work. He will play Van Wilder for the rest of his life.

99% Comic book movies = lame jokes, lame quips, lame banter, lame "humor", lame meta commentary, lame 4th wall breaks, lame cgi, lame hero is exactly equally matched to the villain cgi fights, lame LAZY WRITING, lame formulaic by the numbers plots.
I didn't like how breaking the 4th wall itself was supposed to be the joke. Like when he signed a cereal box with 'Ryan Reynold', the constant looking at the screen and saying stuff to the audience, the whole end credit with the wolverine and ryan reynold with his green lantern script. It became rather annoying, like the writers were constantly poking me, pointing out to the screen and saying, "Hey look, I'm self-aware. Aren't I cool and funny??" It stopped being funny after the 10th time you did it.

He sucked, just full on sucked man. His jokes fell flat, the entire theme behind his issues were stupid. I hate it so much when people act like a literally morbidly obese person could be a super hero, someone like Blob makes sense because it's part of his power. But Say if someone who didn't have super strength, durability, or immortality like Deadpool, was morbidly obese it wouldn't matter if they had powers or not. They'd still be terrible super heroes. And they even prove it in the damn movie when they show him in the future when he's a murderer, would you look at that he's a buff guy. Not at all even mildly overweight from what we see of him. I hate that plot point so much and it's so damn prevalent. The collars in the first place are too convenient, and aren't funny even when they point out how convenient they are. Like How you outlined in your critique.
The x-force scene was so damn lame. Yeah, I get it. That's the joke, it was all a bunch of buildup just for them to die. Yeah yeah, they were a big part of the trailers and that's the point they all end up dying immediately sure whatever. Thing is, it's not funny. And the dissapointment that the movie wasn't actually about deadpool and his rag-tag x-force squad far outweighs the ironic humor of the one-off joke. And yeah, I know it also serves to show off Domino's powers, which is finally shown properly since most comic writers can't seem to understand it. But that doesn't make up for it. I liked Domino, she's one of the few obvious race swaps that actually works and doesn't come off as pandering or shitty. But I'd trade her character for all the lost humor and lack of an interesting plotline that the rest of the movie suffers from.
Why did Deadpool need Cable's time travel device at the end of the movie to go back in time to save his girlfriend, he can break the third wall.

To me the movie seemed a lot like the first one plot devices and scenes just rehashed from the first one re used jokes and the whole story of him being depressed because Vanessa died and now he wants to die? And So I many sex jokes it was just super lazy and not very clever and yes the editing is not very good and acknowledging the fact of lazy writing for a scene or several scenes doesn't make it better as a matter of fact it actually make it worse and even cringy I wish I could make a deadpool movie but I'll never have the money or be allowed to do it
The first Deadpool I think was better than Deadpool 2. Only one part in the first one was funny, Second one I can't remember. Everytime when people laughed in theater, their laughs did not sound like it was as funny as they were making it out to be.
I watched them twice, first time watching them I had a great time, the second time, not as fun and kind of boring.
Someone said Deadpool 2 is better than the first one and consider the franchise a masterpiece. Plus the person said no one will play Deadpool better than Ryan Reynolds ever.

Justice League the Snyder parts was good Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman was shit I thought Man of Steel was good but not fantastic and better than any other DC and Marvel live action films at all and the jokes in Marvel movies in the MCU aren't lame in my opinion but in Deadpool 1,2 some of it is none of the superhero movies from Marvel and DC are huge quality entertainment art in my opinion they are just fun average or above average popcorn flicks and Marvel most of the time don't rely on humor my friend look at the X-Men films especially Logan.

Awesome review/rant man Donau somebody’s on the same boat as me about this garbage Sequel that ruins the original. How dare Ryan Renolds fire Tim Miller, David Leitch took this story in a dreadful direction. I personally hated the decision to Kill off Vanessa, you can’t remove her from the story, as a result the romance which was beautifully written in the first movie is butchered here. And the rest of the movie is a Terminator 2 rehash. The one pro I’ll give this movie is the end credit sequence as it fixed the flaw and thankfully brought Vanessa back to life but the movie before that moment failed entirely. I’d give Deadpool 2 0 stars out of 5. I’ve just subscribed to your channel👍 and have also uploaded my own Rant on this movie if you wanted to check it out!

what annoys me about this movie is the fact that everytime he temporary 'dies' he meets Vanessa. In the comics he meets Lady Death, thats how their character meet. Thats why THANOS cursed him with immortalitiy. Vanessa in Earth 616 is actually a mutant I believe and never actually dates DP. Deadpool has so many INTERESTING love interests, even his insane obsession with Spider-Man. They chose Vanessa.
The movies don't make up for it in humor either I can't laugh at these jokes. They're so forced, so not DP, I don't know. The first movie was likable and even though I couldn't stand the fact that they chose Vanessa as love interest it had its funny moments. This movie is so forced.The MCU right now is a mess but I remember back then I wanted them to tie DP in the mcu or sort of connect him with Marvel. I want DP 3 to feel like a marvel movie also and become the comic DP that has these amazing plots. I kinda liked the first one...but every movie started to try to be deadpool after especially marvel...and than deadpool 2 being a parody of itself...yeah

And it got 83% on Rotten Tomatoes... higher than the latest michael meyers movie (79%)... go figure.
Its because of Reynolds' forced diversity and the liberal Propaganda in it. We could have had a DP2 like T2 but the canadian frauds ego exploded once again.
His fanboys don't want to hear it (because his DP is the only one they ever saw and therefor think he played him better than anyone ever could) but the reason Green Lantern sucks is all him.
Campbell wanted Bradley Cooper for the role, Studio wanted Reynolds and he acted like a spoiled Diva on set.
