They are the original five Dinobots. In some another continuities, there are two more: Paddles and Skar.

I love how throughout this entire chapter of Grimlock pretty much EVERYTHING. Is scared shitless of you
I'm really sad that Sludge doesn't really get that much attention in this game, though his Dino form did appear as a hologram later in this level.
Sludge is alive though, in some of the IDW comics, I think he came out of his stasis lock and was found by Shockwave sometime later after the level, though I'm not entirely sure.

That's because he's dead. Him coming back in the comic is a retcon, he was never intended to come back in the game.
I just knew it when the door fell, that this was just like G1, it was so amazing when I saw him walk and say excuse me, I was remembering all the dinobot scenes from the movie while playing dinobot parts in the game and that turned up :D

Its a reference to the 1986 animated cartoon movie; Kup, Hot Rod and Springer (I think) were trapped in a pool full of Sharkticons when the Dinobots broke in and rescued them. Slag knocked down the door, which landed on a Quintesson and he said "Excuse Me!"

I think a rivalry that needs to be explored more in other media that was done really well in this game is Grimlock and Shockwave
Haha i kind of like Kickback. He is sooooo crazy and he has a nice, scary sounding voice. And Grimlock's first transformation was just EPIC like the whole game is! I hope there will be more games like that in the future ;)

I love Grimlock (dinobot) so extremely much about all! He is very huge/tall, musculous/extremely strong, very defensive, He has very much KP points and he just looks so damned cool 🤩👌. He has an insane cool character design in his robot mode, he is only just a nice character through and through ❤👍. In the moment Grimlock (Fall of Cybertron), is my absolutely favourite character then came Metroplex, then Ultra Magnus (Cybertron Universe), then Devastator G1, then Menasor G1, then Bruticus (Cybertron Universe), then Brawl (War for Cybertron), then Trypticon, then Omega Supreme, then Fortress Maximus, then Bulkhead (Transformers Animated Series), then Warpath and then many many other Transformers too, because the Transformers universe has so many different interesting Transformers 💖👌.

They have different origin stories in different games and animations and comics.... The original one was the were created by autobots , not experimented but created . Grimlock was not dumb as this version . He just relies on his anger rather than intelligence.

The name Strafe is from the G1 Autobot group called the Technobots. The pterodactyl dinobot in the movie was suppose to be called Swoop but production changed his name to Strafe.
