I personally don't like it. I appreciate it, but I didn't enjoy listening to it. There are a few pockets of the beat I enjoyed, and they used transitions and real instruments well, but the lyrics were kinda pointless and the hook was lackluster. That's just my opinion.
I personally like it, it gives me HYLT vibes. Since im a drummer, I've seen Matt Mcguire play HYLT drum cover and the stuff he does in conjunction with the original instrumental is great. The simplicity of the hook gives me some room for some cool stuff haha to apply to the drums!

Me too I like this one more than the title track along with Pretty Savage. That's my kind of taste which is upbeat coz it gives me a lively mood.
Personally, when I first listened to this album I disliked bet you wanna and this song. But after I began listening to it more, I love it. Its like Icy and Not shy by Itzy for me, once you get to listen to it more, you begin to admire the song more. Bet you wanna def had vocals that I loved, Pretty Savage, LSG, and Love To Hate Me are my favorite songs, Crazy Over You's rap and outro gave me arena vibes. You Never Know is a meaning full sad song to vibe with. Ice cream is my least favorite rn, but all of them are bops

They've actually swore a little bit in Pretty Savage if you rewatch it with the lyrics. They've said "bitch" but they're actually using not to degrade other people, but describe themselves. You should check it out again. It's kinda bad but I think it was used fairly well in that song and complement it even more.

Sure they did. Pretty Savage had the word bitch a dozen times. 😂 But KPOP is generally very “clean”. Blackpink’s debut song “Boombayah” was banned from a few stations in Korea for simply insinuating swear words. Lisa raps “middle finger up, F you pay me” and they had to change the lyrics in order to perform it live.

Since you're curious about their production process you have to check out their Netflix documentary "BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky" coming all-access globally this October 14.
What we know so far is that they don't force lyrics to be in a certain language. Since both the girls and the producers are more English speakers and speak Korean, Japanese, etc. they switch languages when it best suits the song or when it sounds better when words are spoken in that language. Very cool.
