I think they made the spike hit boxes smaller with this update?!?. No one has mentioned that yet, but If this was the old hit boxes Ryu would have died way more in the castle with the P-ballon. It’s either that or Mario’s hitbox stays the same size that it normally is but his image size grows.
I was thinking the same thing. At the very least they made it less brutal when using the new power ups. In his regular vid he posted 2day he used the bullet & his feet were legit on the 3d world spikes.

I wish they would add a default power up state feature. Example I make a level that requires the smb2 mushroom you start with it instead of having to pick it up and die if you get hit instead of going to regular mario.

Wall jumps are a bitch actually. You need to hold the directional button to which wall u jump too each time. Sounds easy but its quite tricky

Yo Ryu, the original version of Doukutsu Monogatari (AKA Cave Story) is freeware, and I highly recommend playing it and getting its true ending.

That second lvl, smb2 one.. was incredibly cheesable, simply powerjump and you'd bypass multiple areas.
Oh god if you've never played Cave Story I highly recommend giving it a go! Fantastic game.
