A whole new 3dimension was a great level, and it had great indicators, it indicated the button you needed to press to use them with the unactivated p blocks, and with the propeller indicated when to use your jumps

Just got the Switch this past Friday and it came with Mario Maker 2 and Mario Kart 8. I've been playing it every... single... day with my little koopalings. I'm so stoked to play with the new update. I hope they fixed the server issues with the multiplayer. I absolutely love playing it. Thank you for all the terrific content!

Two cool things I noticed-- a lot of the power ups they added can stack on mario even if he has the fire flower so if he gets hit he goes back to being fire mario and not big mario. Also, you can get unlimited 1 ups per level in the new world mode. Do a 100 mario challenge Ryu!!
I was doing a versus game, and we ran into a level that demonstrated all the new 3D world things. Ive never run out of time in a versus match before. I don't think we ever even saw the end flag.
Mario Maker for me was starting to need new content. So they give. Also I love how Nintendo was probably making a Super Mario Bros 2 theme, but did not have that much time left, before the game just got boring.
Did you notice at the end of the bullet bill showcase level that you actually had 2 powerups at once? You had the cat suit and the bullet. That could be used to make some awesome levels
Ryu, if the SMM2 SMB2 mechanics are the same as on the NES, once you charge up your super jump by holding down, you need to stand up and then jump to get the full height.
I wish the Mario 2, link, and other power ups that radically change how you interact with the world weren't power ups, but selectable characters like toad and Luigi. That would make these levels so much more enjoyable.
