i’ve never been fishing in my entire life and probably never will. but these videos tickle my brain and i’m always enamored by your craft. this might be my favorite video yet
I watch every one of your video's with my daughter. She is 7 and always asks if we can watch one of the "fish guy video's." I always set aside time to watch your new video's and it always gives us something to share with each other. I would just like to say that this video really blew us away! Your innovation in carving and paint schemes is really amazing to see. Keep up the good work and keep trying new things. Thank you so much!
Words can not describe how much I would love to see you carve a 'one day' carrot lure, and fish with it! Thank you, to whoever it was that suggested that. I'd go even further and suggest a few different root vegetables like maybe a beet, (because they're gross anyway), or even a sweet potato. A dried out corn cob could be pretty sweet too. Another great video. Despite not catching anything this time around, this lure is a work of art. Well done! Cheers!
HOORAY!!! CRAZY STUFF! I like the sound of that. I do have to give you a "tip of the hat" good sir. Your baits along with your skills from a few years ago have come along way. You should be very proud of yourself. I feel some day you will have strong world wide recognition for these skills.
Thanks for finally making a Warmouth!! I wanted to see you make one because I kept one as a pet in a big aquarium for a couple years until it died trying to eat one of those armored catfish algae eaters. It was an incredible fish to have in an aquarium. Very aggressive and personable
My sundays mornings with your videos have become a tradition for me and my son much like Saturday morning cartoon was in my youth. Gonna miss that because I’ll be to impatient to wait until then to watch weekday videos. Guess I’ll just watch them twice.
Hi mr Marling Baits! I've noticed that you've been experimenting with making sound. I've played percussion throughout my life and many are wooden. What if you go about it as making an instrument, dressed as a lure? Heres the jist of it: From the steel balls clashing together you get an impact sound, resonating through the wood. What makes percussion really pop though is a resonating chamber behind the impact spot, as well as a way for the sound to travel outwards. If those steel balls had an empty space behind them, and the outer walls of the chamber were thin, it would enhance the sound a lot. End of thought. Love your videos!
When I first started watching you years ago, I thought, "man, this dude is an artist. These baits are insane." I scoff at that now, as the level of insanity in your carving and paint schemes, overlays, masking reveals, and scale patterns is... next level insane? Astronomically insane? Stupendously insane? I dunno, you're really good at making baits and it makes me happy when I get a notification that you've uploaded. The end. On to the next comment...
Seeing a carving montage with Bloodborne music in the background is the strangest combination of sensations I've experienced in a while. Especially considering that it was Laurence's theme, of all bosses.
I had to comment to pay some respect. This is the most detailed lure that I've seen from you so far and the swim action on this bait is awesome. Well done.
What an amazing lure! Love the flappy fins again and such an awesome movement. Really is a pleasure to watch you work. Also like the idea of food and veg lures.....A small mouth bass-il glider, or perhaps the lipless gar-lic crankbait. Or a spinning pike parsnip of death😂. Great work, already looking forward to the next bait.👍
Love your video, and then I hear Clutch in the background. Just got better. I’m thinking about getting into painting baits and I really enjoyed watching your process. Thanks
So I was thinking about skipping this video because I didn't see any Marlin baits video last two Sundays.. but I can't resist seeing every video you make lol and I didn't realize you even made a new video because I always check for your videos on Sunday..
I believe this to be an S tier bait, absolutely phenomenal. beautiful , amazing action, sad the fishing is getting worse. Would like to see you keep playing around with this style of fins and weight it’s an excellent formula. Also, very impressive and creative. Your talent for craftsmanship is truly amazing
This is by far one of you best swimbaits. The paint scheme is epic. Would be the best if you made it official lol. Thanks again for the amazing content
I take back what I said before this is my favourite colour scheme you've painted!! What a beauty almost too nice...I'd find it hard to fish with a beauty like that but im sure a pike would love it!! 👍🤙 Sick work! 👍
Faantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are now at 17 exclamation points! I added a new one for the 17th time. Or 16th. Anyway next video will be the 18th exclamation points after the "Faantastic". 🤔Hope you enjoy.
Mmmmmfffggggg I’ve been waiting for this video to see if I get another blessing from the One True Lure Lord. Beautiful lures and flawless videography again Mr. Marling
Hey I love the lure it looks absolutely fantastic! Love the paint scheme and attention to detail! I also wanted to let you know again that I sent you some lures to your PO Box it said they were delivered I just wanted to let you know because I value your options greatly. Thankyou so much and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next I know it will look fantastic as always
I really like the flappy fins, and I also you should make custom glass lure eyes. I have a few questions. Here they are. 1. Have you ever caught a muskie or tiger trout? 2. What is your favorite type of music. 3. Are you going to catch a fish to put in your tank? I think it would be cool if you went microfishing and caught an aggressive little fish like BamaBass's Moby.
Northern Flickers are awesome. I see them from time to time in Ontario where I live. They are my family's name sake. Also I love the fun facts. I always look forward to hearing all the cool things about fish. I've also never heard of a Warmouth.
I'd love to see you do "refishing" in the summer when the bite is hot and fishing with things like this bait. I feel like in the right season it could tear it up!
The wiggly fins are awesome, all the creativity with the recent baits has been insane.
I love when you give facts along with your time lapses, it’s so satisfying
I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, your the Bob Ross of baits man! What an inspiration, congrats!
Very true
@@Y0u_D13d Just making happy little anal fins. 🙂
Thank you for not harming the snek. They are very helpful and are a sign the surrounding area is in good health.

Carrot for sure. Corn cob, however, I believe has already been done...

30:21 What a beauty. I think that's the prettiest lure you've made on TH-cam.
I enjoy watching these videos multiple times, its great going back and rewatching them for inspiration and to pass the time.
THE REGULATOR BY CLUTCH!!!!! heard it in the background after the scale application. Classic!!!
Sir …… that is definitely a winner!!! You have done some great stuff but for me this one is the best !!
I don't know why watching your videos is so therapeutic, but just wanted to thank you.
That’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen you make on this channel. Awesome job.
HOORAY!!! CRAZY STUFF! I like the sound of that. I do have to give you a "tip of the hat" good sir. Your baits along with your skills from a few years ago have come along way. You should be very proud of yourself. I feel some day you will have strong world wide recognition for these skills.

This is my favorite lure you've ever built and also my favorite paint job. Its just "mwa" chefs kiss.
Requested this a while ago and now it's here! With extras! So happy right now!
This is maybe my fourth time watching this build. Such a sick lure.
In my opinion, this is probably one of the most beautiful detailed lure made out of all the videos I watched
My sundays mornings with your videos have become a tradition for me and my son much like Saturday morning cartoon was in my youth. Gonna miss that because I’ll be to impatient to wait until then to watch weekday videos. Guess I’ll just watch them twice.

Ridiculously talented. Love watching the masking and airbrushing

I love the wide variety of music that comes on and off with the time lapses
Man I love the paint job on that bait. The action is spot on. Always look forward to seeing what ideas for lures
I think was amazes me the most is how you know how to go about the paint scheme.
You have truly mastered this art form, Nate. Every piece, even the made up trout one, have been absolutely stunning
Yay! A video! My husband was so worried about you and checked every night for a new video. 🤣🤣
That's the best looking and best swimming glide I have ever seen. And I've fished a lot of them lol!
I'm so happy you make a good lure, video, and have a sense humor.
I was literally just about to check to make sure I hadn't missed a video and this was top of my reccomended :)
Seeing a carving montage with Bloodborne music in the background is the strangest combination of sensations I've experienced in a while. Especially considering that it was Laurence's theme, of all bosses.

Awesome bait. I would be more than happy to have a bait like that in my arsenal. You have every right to be proud of it
Once again a stunning bait ! The paint job looks awesome 👌
Definitely getting sophisticated with your building skills.
Excited for the arowana carving! Tropical fish carvings like neon tetras or guppies would be cool for ice fishing baits!
So I was thinking about skipping this video because I didn't see any Marlin baits video last two Sundays.. but I can't resist seeing every video you make lol and I didn't realize you even made a new video because I always check for your videos on Sunday..

Where did you go!? Worried you threw the towel in or got sick! 2 weeks without a Marlin baits episode. Was having withdraws. Glad to see you back on.
Love that bait! Also I think you should make a gnarly musky swimbait
I love your videos, keep up the great work!
