I came to see these, because even my full dark side sith couldn't bring himself to keep Vette collared.

I have never been able to keep it on Vette she just seems so innocent and Naive, it's not quite the same as slaughtering people it's more akin to torturing her lol

There's nothing wrong with punishment, discipline and butchering ones opponents, that's not evil, but the things you can do to Vette begin to really cross the line into malice and evil. A healthy human mind recoils from such, and if you don't, then I'm sorry, you're a fucking piece of shit.

I went full DS with my warrior, but I took Vette-s collar off after the second cut scene. I think she's more fun when she's free to speak her mind. The bird *chirp, chirp chirp* impression had me sold. I was like, Yea, I like her.
amen to that. as soon as she asked for it to come off, in all of my war plays, i took it off.
KagedDeamon The only reason I waited to take it off is cos I wanted the custom 8 customisation that you get from the vender on Balmora. I think that one is the one that more closely matches Vette' original skin. I I don't like changing her look too much, so I don't go for the red or green skin. And I didn't want to grind till I'm at a high enough lvl, do I can attain a weekly mission on Balmora, just so I can teleport to that planet, so I can buy the skin and then take Vette's collar off. I've done that before, and it's too much hassle lol. If I do make her wait I try to play it like I'm toughening her up. So I chose to shock her over verbal insults like telling her she's not a person. Because some wounds cut deeper than others, and I want to make her strong not demoralise her. It's tough love. I need to know she's going to be alright if something should happen to me. Like getting frozen in carbonite for 5 years for example. So I always choose the "Now you understand what it means to be Sith" response when I do finally remove it.

Same, As a Sith to see someone being sarcastic an mocking someone who holds the leash means she has a strong will, I enjoyed her as a partner, Too good natured but it doesnt stop her cute side

Mostly I made darkside decisions, but occasionally it was necessary to make a lightside one to get the right result. I think if you are lightside when you acquire Jaesa Willsaam the lightside version of Jaesa will not torture Vette like she does here at 10:15.

i never went with jaesa she is too generic plus out of all the let's plays that i watched of this people just kept on choosing jaesa they said that they dont like aliens *boom* prejudice is what they were being even though they said that they aren't racist or prejudice but yet when they said "i dont like aliens" they contradicted themselves i chosed vette because her romance story is way more interesting and intertaining than jaesa's

You missed one, but that may only be available for male Warriors. On Dromund Kaas when you go to Gratham's palace, if you accept the deal of Lady Gratham (Light Side), you can get the option to get more acquainted with her. And Vette will want to leave, to which you can shock her and have her stay.

Such a shame that Vette doesn't have an alternative personality after being shocked too much. Perhaps she could have become a broken and obedient slave towards the end where she says "I am done talking to you!" etc.

They really missed an opportunity with that. They should've given her an alt-personality like they did with Jaesa. Slave Vette would gradually become more and more broken and would alter her personality and reactions over time.
Gosh. As a very light-sided player, that was hard to watch. Although I did have to laugh when Vette said "Couldn't you have just written a note? Yeesh."

Even when I played full dark side I didn't shock her. I didn't romance her, but Vette was one of the few people that my Sith Warrior had a soft spot for. I sort of pictured their relationship like a bother and little sister thing.
eh i romanced her with my warrior because i pictured his story arc being a wacky sith that found someone who likes to annoy others like he does and neither of them likes to be told what to do. my sith warrior who i named (Zarovalle) by the way he is a man who will not listen to even his own master (which as we all know that was Baras) so when the opportunities arise he will crack a witty remark that will make Vette laugh mostly on the inside but he would do anything to protect her even if that means letting the emperor take control only once but if girls like lana try to flirt with him he will keep it business related because he is loyal to his wife (vette in this case)

Ok, I only played the game because I read I could be a Sith AND an assassin and I did play shocking every single person I had the option to but after 7 minutes of this I found watching it painful. You are without a doubt the most sadistic dark lord I've ever met and I killed alot of them!

I wish now that since Vette has returned with Gault , that if you were the Smuggler as the Alliance Commander for KotFE , and you have Risha out , that since Risha talked about Vette like she was her Kid Sister , I wonder do they actually have recognition and dialog between each other ? I just learned today that , if on Corellia as the Jedi Knight you have Lord Scourge out and you redeemed Lord Praven on Tatooine , Scourge & Praven banter back & forth like they knew each other from Korriban or the Empire somewhere. Scourge said something like "Look at this , Lord Praven pretending to be a Jedi ?" . Was cool to see that kind of connectivity in the story. Made me mad that you could have Scourge out during 'Malestorm Prison' , and Revan acts like nothings going on, even though we know it was Scourge that slew Revans party and presented him to the Emperor to be in Stasis for 3 centuries. . Just hope that when I get my smuggler to Oddessen with Risha that Vetter Recognizes her. Like Hylo Viz recognizes Gault / Tyresius . :-) TSS

This kinda undoes the horrific purpose of sith slavery. Vette should be trying to do anything to get that collar off, total compliance and silence like Baras' slave early on, not becoming more defiant. She talks about rotting from the inside, but the writers don't actually go through with it.

+LightningClash i go neutral with the warrior keep a balance between both light and darkside so that away i can romance vette and keep the loyalty of broonmark they are the 2 that i usually take out into the field with me plus i remove the shock collar from vette on the first go because i for one hate seeing people suffer like that so i mostly play my characters the sameway i am in my daily life

I needed her for Underworld Trading missions at the time and didn't want to keep losing the affection I had gained through bribery, so I cut her torment short.
I think only now i realised that Vette is also Padmé in CW and Mission in KOTOR

I don't know what's more questionable- the fact that the pain emitted from the shocks clearly isn't enough to get her to shut up an conform, or the fact that at the start, she almost seems USED to that kind of pain, yet, despite that, begs you to remove the collar, yet still not getting the fact that she's a slave hammered into her head as to avoid further mistreatment. It's not resilience per say, it comes off as if she actually has a brain defect because of how much she prides voicing herself despite being an annoying shit regardless. It's like they tried to make her a good conscience, and just made someone immune to nieztchian slave mentality/demoralization.
Needs modify voltage options and additional accessories to distribute shocks.

I kept shocking her over and over again until she finally demanded I take the collar off...mostly I was rping a sith warrior who only respected strength and only considered her strong when she would finally find the strength to directly oppose me shocking her as oppose to begging for mercy.

Personaly, I took off the collar the first time she asked because I had Khem Val as my first companion. Not only does he hate everything I say or do, he literally wants to kill me every moment of the day, even worse when I am nice to him. Vette so far is so nice. I wish the Sith Inquisitor (who was a slave) and Vette could be at a cantina for once!
