to be honest, only anti lgbt game companies would take the time to write lines of unnecessary code to restrict romances to the opposite sex unless it is lore friendly to be restricted

waaaaaaaaaaaait ... i did every flirt option i could BUT i didnt got any msg like on 22:40 ... i am currently on XI episode ... can i progress in romance with her any further or i need to do it AGAIN with another character ?!!!!
+Sillri Ventures I'm sure that the story line will evolve so you can romance her later, X and XI didn't have much Lana at all. I know a LOT of people are in the same boat you are. I'm certain they'll offer that option later.
it's not only flirting options it's about flirting AND approval ("lana beniko disapproves" or "lana beniko approves") once you've got high enough approval and then you flirt the message should pop up but as Mahret said there are other opportunities to gain approval and flirt.

I haven't had any advancements in my romance with Lana in forever. has anyone gotten any advancements past chapter 10? (for an agent)

Have same problem. I had this secenes here but after chapter 10 no. But there are for sure some for example battle of odessen. Before that you can flirt. And some more. The damn support just said" we cannot do anything you can only report a bug and hope it get fixed". Btw i am Sith juggernaut.
There are a few in KOTET, not sure if companions are romance-able if they weren't already but there are some rather sweet romance options I've seen

Dragon Age yes, to an extent, Mass Effect, not really. Throughout the whole trilogy, Male Shepard only gets 2 male love interests, and one of those is only if you saved him back in ME1. Femshep only gets one female LI as well. There is Liara, but I don't count her as much because she's available for both shepards. There is Kelly, and to an extent Samara, but those are not full romances.
Dragon Age, has a lot more in it, but still only get one gay and one lesbian love interest, and only in Inquisition. I don't really count Zev, leliana, and the DA2 LI's again since they're available to either gender. Not that they aren't good representations, they are still same sex relationships, but I think the way they handled them, in 2 especially, wasn't very good. They got a way to go still, but at least they're trying.
9:30 so I tried to tell the truth, and the next few chapters the game said I lied to lana. I’m trying to romance her too, now she hates me

I think I figured it out. Because that was KOTFE stuff, and I created that character as an imp agent at level 65, it already had it on dark side, basically pissing off everybody, even though I went back and played KOTFE over again. I have a new level 70 trooper that started at 65, and he has a good relationship with Lana, and Koth doesn’t hate him like he does my imp agent.

+cody norman you will have a few "flirt" options, the only "begin a romance" option comes around 24:40 of the video when on Odessen. You are given a flirt option that's generic, If you've flirted with multiples the next choice (who you are flirting with) gives you multiple options. I only ever flirted with Lana, so she was my only option. There's no influence level requirement, just the flirting you've done and that last flirt in the cantina on Odessen that triggers the "start a romance". I'm sure in chapter 10+ there will be more chances.
+Mahret IFL I have played through all my 60+ both LS/DS and your right if you flirted with all 4 you can pick one and get locked into it. After chapter 10 did not even see any others other then the ones stuck with for it. Ya like the armor pic and the eyes for her. Good job on that part
