Awesome review! I just booked Taste of Royal on my upcoming cruise. I haven’t done the specialty dining on Royal so this was helpful to see what I would get and compare. The wine flight also seems like a great value
I could never ever eat that much food. A small main meal and a dessett totally fills my tummy.
Yes I have several friends like you however I’m the opposite haha, if you keep plates coming I’ll keep making room!

Hi great video :) just wondering, that really loud music playing through out the video have you added it into the video? As at times it's extremely hard to hear what you are saying each time it is playing
Yes it was added and ended up being overly loud after it uploaded to TH-cam, my apologies. There’s another updated taste of royal from an Oasis class ship as well where I promise the volume was not as loud :)
You are on a ship. In the sea. With 4,000 people. Why would you expect a dedicated waiter? I’d just be, “Bring it on!”
I definitely had the "bring it on" attitude for food! But when it comes to wanting a drink in a timely manner to go with your food, occasionally royal Caribbean can let the ball drop. I've always been happy with the service inside of Taste of Royal however. thanks for your comment!

Yes! If you have deluxe beverage package it will work here. If you don’t have a deluxe beverage package the drink that’s included is similar to an aperol spritz. Reminds me of a blackberry/fruity champagne based drink 😊 enjoy your taste of Royal experience if you’ve got one booked, it’s wonderful at that price point!

Do you know how this works with the kids price? My son is 12 so we were thinking of doing it on our upcoming 3 day as a fun lunch to do. I don't eat beef but I heard they will swap that out for something else. I also heard kids get the same meals/portions. Is that true
I don't know how it works in terms of kids price, but I do know that yes if you don't eat something they will substitute it as long as you let them know in advance, the sooner the better. Also children are supposed to receive the same meals as everyone else but again if you talk to them in advance they "may" be able to assist, it completely depends on the Ship and crew in my experience :) thanks for stopping by!

I was on your sailing as well as a back to back but pulled out of the one you are on because they still wanted the covid test so I cancelled that one.

Haha idk. It’s usually $35 for me when I look online. Not to be confused with chefs table. That’s a paired wine with like a 6 course meal. And usually costs about $85 or so

At chops grille will they cool your steak well done? I do not eat steak if there is even the slightest pink tinge to it. It has to be cooked up really well

Dude, don’t waste all that money at Chops if your gonna get it well done. Ask for a well done steak at the windjammer. It will taste the same and it’s free.
