I cruised RC 5 years ago, and I ate the pork belly too. Yuck! it was the first time I tried it and didn't even finish. Thanks for the review. I am going to be on Allure of the Sea in February.
Oh nice, this video was actually taken on Allure so it is nice you are watching it. Also, we had the pork belly at the same restaurants on Harmony recently and it was great! so they may have changed it and the experience can be slightly different on different ships. thanks for watching!
So we are going on the Allure in august we bought the unlimited package but I was unsure if the restaurants were all you could eat like the main dining? I know the sushi isn’t but are the other restaurants all you can eat?
Yes, However there are certain specialty dinging restaurants on Allure and oasis class and up that have specific ordering guidelines. see below and also check out our most recent unlimited dining review where we share our favorite dishes off each menu. Playmakers: is by $ amount per day per person. The portions are very large. Izumi: sushi one small plate two large plates and desert if you choose the larger items you will definitely get full! you may be able to request more if needed. Sabor: has a specific amount of entres and desert. however you can alway go there for lunch when ever open.
Not worth it for me. 150 Central Park was the best overall restaurant. The filet at Chops Grille and lamb chops at Jamie Oliver were my favorite single dishes. But overall the restaurants were underwhelming and many things were hit or miss. I would've been happy with just eating at Windjammer and the Main Dining Room everyday.
Thanks for watching! Yes, everyone has specific tastes. From my experience even the same named restaurants are better on different ships. I have favorite dishes at specific restaurants on specific ships (oddly). Example there is Giovani's on one ship and then there is Giovanis table on another -still Italian but they offer different things.
Hi! it varies per how long the cruise is and the type of cruise you go on. you can only see the prices after you book. Unlimited is also not usually offered on the shorter cruises.
How delightful 👌 thanks for sharing
Thank you!
