Shiela E helped me not to feel like a freak for playing left handed being a right handed person...which makes more sense to me imo. Look at right hand drum kit players - the finesse and more "metronome" hand is the right hand i.e. hat hat, ride cymbal, floor tom, etc) and the left is for the power stroke on 2 and 4 i.e. the slap/snare. 😊
