      Attended it last year when I was 21, was a bittersweet experience, nevertheless changes the way you see life.

      Lucky you guys... I did go in 2008 but became sick after 3 days of 10 days vipassana. Had to leave thinking if life give me chance I will complete atleast 10 days course. Life became busy and I was not able to go again. Now I am trying to go hopefully in summer.🤞

    God I love this so much, need to listen to this over and over until it sinks in ... So glad it's available to listen to whenever I want, thank you!

      Yes sir, I obey with you we have to practice any new subject until it sinks in, else it won't give success. As we practice or learn riding Bycycle, bike or swimming etc until we can manage then only it is useful to us.
      If we left in the middle of learning it will not be useful.

    The habit pattern ... at the deepest level of the mind ... deep because not conscious ... the habit is to react ... so you pay attention, you look for the deepest parts of the mind, the subtlest sensations in the body ... and notice the desire to react ... and strengthen equanimity, now that it's conscious you can stop reacting ... deeper and deeper awareness of sensations ... stronger and stronger not-reacting ...

    Sir, whether experience is real change? is it not preserved by memory in mind ? Any technique is not lead into mechanism?

    • @mamchi
      @mamchi 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes it does, that is why this is a techique to be learned so that you can remember it in the time of need, work on it in the time of need. At the end of the day, there is no limit of human mysery, technique helps to switch the things around. To be more pleasant.

  • @narendrashukla4201

    Sir, How can change the natural process of mind at any level!is it not create more & more confusion, what is deepest level?, is there any end, is mind's limitation not that it can work up to conscious level, the question, how to make change is still remain unanswered!

    • @algromedplus6830
      @algromedplus6830 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Narendra Shukla It's not unanswered. Just that the experience of awakening, the awareness is hard to be explained. You need to walk the way yourself, and how do you walk the way, vipassana is the way to the answer but not the answer itself.

    • @winstonmiller9649
      @winstonmiller9649 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Shukla. Like anything there is always a deeper level. If you consider it like the deep ocean or the deep forest. You can always see the shallow part of the sea, its very obvious. Anything in it you will see at the surface. If there are big or small fish or anything in the shallows. Yet we know there is the deeper part of the ocean where we cannot really go without special equipment. Consider vipassana like that, special equipment. With vipassana we can go to the deepest part of the mind and observe the things there and remove them to some extent. I hope that helps you.😊😊🤲🤝🧡💜

    • @winstonmiller9649
      @winstonmiller9649 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Shukla. Vipassana shouldnt cause any more confusion, because you are not using object meditation. Like, you are not using imagination to meditate on, like candles or images. Youre using your own will and mind to reach the goal. This should avoid confusion, because you are not replacing one thing with another thing. You are realizing the situation with your own experience: Your breath, your sensation, your feelings. You will have to go on retreat, then let me know how you feel afterwards. Ok?? I think thats the only way. Because your own experience is worth a million of my words to try to explain. Im just someone whoa been on vipassana 10 day retreat, and know the value of the experience. I just trying to encourage you as you sound sincere in you need to make changes in you life. Have a good day friend. There is hope!! 😊🤝👍🏻💜

      Good advice you're offering. We can explain the experience of walking a path till we're blue in the face. But until the other person walks on the path, they would not really appreciate, nor see the wondrous place that's deep in the forests. 😊⛰🏞😰😊👍🏻🤝
