When you choke someone you dont just stop the air flow, you also stop the blood from going to the brain

Hi, MMA practitioner and vet student here, in the point 3 when you choke someone the real problem is not the suffocation (especially in this case, 'cause viltrumites), the thing is that you are interrupting the blood flow that goes to the brain and thats what makes someone go unconscious and eventually die. Im not an english native so I hope I made myself clear.
Yep, don't know how this isn't common knowledge, the body can go without oxygen for 5-10 minutes and viltrumites can probably go without oxygen for hours

That explains how Conquest died. I always found his death kinda confusing
For those confused how mark choked conquest, he first knocked the stored air in his lungs out and then locked onto conquest's neck. If conquest had full lungs of air, mark would have been holding on for months.
Choking can also kill you by directly restricting blood flow to the brain due to compression of the arteries and veins in the neck. With how hard Mark was squeezing, Conquest may as well have had his head cut clean off

Since they can hold their breath even in a vacuum, you wouldn’t be able to use a vacuum or some other method to remove oxygen. However, there are materials that are capable of absorbing immense amounts of oxygen. Make a nano particle dust cloud of this material. When they they breathe it in, it absorbs all the oxygen in their body. You would have to remove the oxygen from around them to keep them from taking another breath.
Once again, the Scourge does not permanently remove powers.

I think the oxygen part is not right. Omniman was in space for a long time after leaving earth. Long enough to grow a beard. So not sure if I'm missing something here

I wonder if a railgun or laser would work? We have both of those mounted on boats already (even if just for testing) but both have fired, so it might not be impossible to target their heart with the combination of the frequency
