I've been practicing to this video and the break focus one for years now. Time to get on the Patreon really! I had vocal surgery and it didn't achieve what I hoped and the damage was right in the middle (the C to E as I'm transitioning) - these help soooo much thank you x
Really enjoy your channel. Started singing a few years ago. Mezzo all of the way. One comment can you mention what was the highest note in an exercise so we can see how well we are advancing!
Jeff, THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's EXTREMELY helpful. And your thick notebook covered with so many records and notes is a n evidence of super-accuracy approach to teaching - i'ts so much YOU! THANKS!!!!
Thank you so much for the excellent voice exercises. I’m a mezza and am grateful for the lessons enabling me to use chest voice and break through to soprano. Much nicer, I’m not singing so up in the clouds.
Hi Mr. Rolka. I’ve been assigned as an alto in my choir and I use these exercises to expand my range. Currently my range is F3-G5. My chest voice (or at least what I think is my chest voice) is F3-E4 until sounding like I’m screaming. But my head voice+falsetto (haven’t distinguished the two) goes from A3-G5. Can I have some pointers as to how I should practice. Also, is this range good for singing alto songs or mezzo songs?
Hello Jeff! How're you? Hope you're doing great and being safe on these hard times. I have a question: why is the major 7th exercise easier for me to do compared to the major 6th ones? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Or is it some characteristic of my voice perhaps? I'm able to reach the last note on the last exercise (which I think is a G5) but I have to stop about two or three keys below the last one on both major 6th exercises... even if these exercises go a little bit further up (which I think they do), I'm pretty sure I can't hit the same note that I do on the 7th exercise. Thank you in advance!

I'm really struggling with the 3rds scales. Do you have any videos going further into that
Love this!
