- Acer Veriton N4660g is 1L mini PC that offers versatility likes no other. when it lacks in overall design, it offers one major advantage compared to it's competitor, which is a fully functioning PCIe x16 lane. In this video, we will try to incorporate eGPU that we build from previous video and see if we can turn this mini PC into an entry gaming rig.

I wish more companies would create mini PC's with PCIe x16 slots built into the motherboard directly. Imagine the possibilities.
There's some options out there like intel beast canyon or minisforum mini PC that has full PCIe x16 slot but high price seems threw people off. Better stick with older model like Acer N4640g/N4660g if you're in the budget.
Lenovo M920q, P330 tiny/ P340 tiny has PCIe slot and support low profile single slot gpu

you dont need to unscrew the heatsink the cpu fan just unclips from the heatsink.
Do you happen to remember what the power consumption is for this set-up? Idle and otherwise? I'm thinking of turning one into a home server
Does the x16 slot has enough power to run the gpu ( as we all know that a typical x16 lane has approx. 75 watt max output power ) ??
this unit comes with only 90 W power supply so i doubt it will be adequate even for low profile gpu
Most probably NOT. Do have some old PC and even way too old GPU models like GTX960 does NEED external power lines from PSU unable to boot from just x16 slot (regardless it's in full gaming MB from similar time fed by 500W PSU).
Maybe someone can help me. I have an Acer Veriton N4680GT and I extended the Pcie port out. I wanted to test run a HD7870, which is powered by a 600 watt power supply. When I start the computer, the Radeon fans start spinning. The computer turns on and off twice. Then starts normally via the Intel GPU. However, the Radeon is not displayed in Windows.
When I try to boot the machine without the extra power, the Radeon's fans don't start spinning. So there must be a connection and an impulse when I start the computer.
Is there anything else I need to set in the BIOS? Or does anyone have an idea?

Iya kak shut down windows terus matiin manual psu lewat switch dibelakangnya. Nyalain juga sama, psu nyalain dulu terus tombol power di mini pcnya
Thanks for this video! I have one of these that I haven't used for over a year. I plugged it in and the fan/hdd spins and blue light comes on for almost 12 seconds then turns off for a few then turns on for 5 then permanently off.
- tried removing the hdd and reseating the only ram stick that’s installed and got the same result
- removing ram and hdd and powering on makes unit beep continuously
- Unplugged cmos battery and replaced it and got same results
- Unplugging everything from motherboard (except memory as that just causes beep) and it t only came on once then powered off
- Unplugging everything except HDD and memory from motherboard it came on/off twice
- I plugged in an SSD instead of the HDD and it only came on once then powered off
Any ideas?

I'm pretty unfamiliar with Acer naming. Was hunting for some NUC, Lenovo or similar mini/barebone and bumped into this a Acer Veriton series and I'm seriously impressed with some versatility and modularity seen on YT.

lol....pinch the black ´locks´on the fan (CPU side) and clip it loose....no need to unscrew...

Aman gan bergantung daya adapternya. Ada yg nyaranin pakai adapter Acer nitro 5 yg 180w biar lebih aman
@@aircrate adapter bawaannya berapa watt bang? mungkin kalau ganti procie yang seri T masih aman dengan adapter bawaan. Soalnya ngincer PC yang hemat daya makanya pake GT 1030, yang penting bisa main PES. Hehe
Bawaan 90w. Kalau gt1030 harusnya masih bisa tinggal diundervolt pakai afterburner. Veriton+gt1030 jatuhnya bisa 2jtan. Budget segitu mending beli ps4 bekas aja trus download efootball gratis

@@aircrate lebih asik lagi pakai adaptor nya dell allienware mx18 dayanya 330watt 19.5volt 16A tapi mahal dan harus modif jack male di adaptornya menjadi lubang 5.5x1.7mm seperti milik acer

barangnya langka banget gan kalau yg tipe n4660g tapi yg tipe n4640g biasanya masih ada tinggal cari di toko online. bedanya kalau n4640g pake intel gen 6-7 tapi punya full pcie x16 slot disamping. kalau niat beli hati2 jangan yg n4630g karena pcie nya masih x1.
