Thanks for the nether map room idea! I'm not planning on the same exact thing, but something very similar. My nether gets too many people lost in it whenever I have people tour my long term world, and something like that at the nether spawn would help massively.
id love a video explaining more abt what keeps you motivated to play your world, i struggle with wanting to play the game after i build a nice house, and get an enchantment table before i just inevitably restart and do it again to enjoy fresh scenery and a "new experience"

No, but with a raid farm it doesn’t take long to get enough. Especially if u have a pillager outpost that has four spawning spots for captains.

When you're trying to get Density from the enchantment table, you don't need to choose the third enchantment each time, you can choose the top enchantment and only use 1 level each time until you see density IV of V at the bottom, instead of choosing the bottom each time and using 3 levels

I found windburst and a heavy core in my third trial chamber, roughly my 5th ominous vault! It was so cool! I can't wait to see you get it, windburst seems fun even if not my cuppa.
I got all four windburst I enchanted books within the 6th day the update was out... I also got 19 extra heavy cores...

I actually didn't notice the a.c. until the last like 2 minutes of the video. It's not very noticable. I wouldn't worry about it.

The fence counts as a 1.5 tall block even though it's visually 1 block (which is why putting a carpet or trapdoor on it then allows you to jump over it)

It took 5 chambers for me to get a heavy core roughly 12 ominous vaults I got the 3 music discs though almost right away and I’m still working on getting wind burst and one of the two templates
Today I found out that you can use crafting tables as fuel... By accident.. haha
15 trial chambers, 4 heavy cores, 35 enchanted golden apples, 30 flow armor trims, 3 tridents, and still no wind burst yet 🫤
What if you could use cartography table and a pane of glass to solidify what painting you wanted?

my second mace I enchanted in the table and got D-4, put a book in the enchanting table immediately after, got D-4 on it, so in 2 clicks got D-5 on my density mace :P
I had to use 113 lvls to get decity 5 on my mace went from 271 to 157😢
I didn't notice until you mentioned it, and even then it's pretty quiet

I got a heavy core on my first trial chamber. Another heavy core on my second trial chamber. Spent 60 levels trying to get breach enchantment though

Toycat, I want a survival world that’s purely singleplayer so it can be purely my ideas with no other people’s influence. My current survival world that I started before 1.17 is a semi-multiplayer world, but it feels wrong for it to be my singleplayer survival world when other people have houses in it. Should I start a brand new world (which I know you are avidly against) or go with my main survival world with my friends houses?
Hi, I also have a long term survival world. If you like the world you're in but feel guilty about using the same world your friends built in, use the same seed and make a new world. I was in a similar situation, and my friend's seed at the time was pretty cool, so I created a new world and actually recommend it. All ressources you mine are yours, you can build your base anywhere since nobody else is gonna build there, and also you're not in a rush to 'compete' getting full netherite or something
At the time of my comment we in the "at least" Northeastern parts of USA we are also having a heatwave going on as well. So yeah I *pun intended* feel ya on the heatwave side of things ibxtoycat.
So i have a huge ps preview world, and in it I got 2 single wind burst 1 books. I didnt use them. Just threw them in a chest with the other crap i dont have a spot for. I do have chests full of everything else like Netherite blocks. My 3 maces are fully enchanted (besides the wind burst) BUT i dont really care because im not using the mace, since its just a stick on console. I cant switch items that fast lol
I did notice the fan, because I'm also in London and suffering lol.
You should keep a cow around your painting area
You can attach a normal keyboard to your console and it will work as usual. Both wired and wireless work, as long as it's through the USB port. I don't know about Bluetooth keyboards.
It's very inconvenient to have 2 keyboards lying around, though!
@@toycat Perhaps you could use a keyboard that supports both wired and wireless modes, and uses a switch to change between them. Then you can use the wireless USB for the Xbox, and the wired and/or Bluetooth to your computer.

It's a known bug. Unfortunately, a lot of people have lost gear to it.

I have a question for everyone here: How can I get my xbox controller to be as responsive as a keyboard and mouse (or as close to it as possible)? I am a bedrock console player (sort of, I haven't put nearly as much time in it as Minecraft Dungeons). I use an xbox one s, so if anyone here can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I tried researching it, but I found nothing (probably because of my poor research skills, to be honest).
