Galaxy Note 2 Kitkat has S5 effects included too; not in the settings app but they can be applied by manually modifying the settings database using SetEdit. (0 to 7; do not set to 8 or any other value or the keyguard will crash!)

The similar thing can be done in the LG V20 where you can get the LG G2's Light particle effect despite it was no longer in the settings. Set the value 18 to 12 and congrats
