@@GrizzlyGaz Ok cheers Gaz, i'll send you an email soon. Thanks for the kind words. I've just found your video with Scout Hall and the drone shot of it which was fab. I still remember the first time I came across Scout Hall by sheer chance just wandering about in Shibden Valley coming down it Southwards and it just appeared on the right (derelict at the time). I was well intrigued by it. I almost felt like some great explorer making a discovery! hahaha (though very well known to all the local historians whom I eventually discovered on a google search). Always something extra special finding/visiting a ruin or landscape for the first time. You know you'll be back again later. The ruin known as Upper Shibden Hall (featured on your scout hall camp video from a distance) is perhaps also being renovated as I noted some footings dug out for potential pipe works on that last visit a few years ago. On a recent walk through Shibden Valley with a friend I noticed the derelict Yorkshire water board house with an outbuilding close by has since had a new house built over it, complete with Cows herding at the front and new long concrete road/path leading to it. I'll miss the various ruins as they get rebuilt/renovated. Scout Hall still looks great though. Cheers.
Yes that old Yorkshire water building in the Shibden valley (the one with the old stone carvings at the gate with Halifax co operation water board writings on it) has had a huge mansion built on it plus there's another derelict building close by that looks to be having some work done. They put a new road in there to accommodate it. The upper Shibden hall hasn't been touched since I was last there (around 2yrs ago) and those trenches that have been dug out around it have been like that for years also. Maybe it will have something done to it in the future???
I would of LOVED to have done this one with you 🤩 I’m a massive history geek... also if that was the garden of Eden should of worn just a fig leaf 🍁😉😂 Another Awesome video .. massive love to Fendi ❤️🐾

Also if Fendy is allergic to grass, how does she go at night? How do you treat her when out camping, if it gets too bad?
Growing up my family had a dog with allergies. Each year he got shots
Great vid mate. That noise would have made me wanna jump straight off the edge 😬😬😬
Yeah I wound me up so much pal!!! 🤬
Love this video. Fendi is so cute xx

You and your beautiful dog remind me of me and my amazing cat Brian, he sleeps with us in bed at night just like a human and was constantly by my side when my mum died back in 2015. He chose us as his humans in June 2015 bless him.
They do choose us don't they 😍
I live in Southowram and you’ve just taught me some good local history. Keep the videos coming your a good teller and it’s an good watch. 👌

Just found you....I'm hooked. Bonus...easy on the eyes🤗
You're too kind heather! 🤩
Awesome views beautiful country for real.
🤩
It sounded to me like an anti vandalism alarm, which can be set off by someone over cctv. I wonder if someone saw you and thought you were upto no good so they aimed it at your tent and set it off, as soon as you started packing up they turned it off.
Maybe?!? Not sure any CCTV is pointed up on that cliff though?
Another amazing vid! Thanks to you and fendi I have company while I go through this new mental health medication. You two really help me 🥰 that stained glass 😲
🤗

Thank you 👌
its beautiful gaz id be terrified to camp near the edge :) i dont like heights x
Very informative video. Shame about having to leave early, did you ever get to the bottom of the noise, and where it came from? Ive heard local residents talk about the 'Holmfield Hum' for a few years now but this sounds more high pitched. Anyway great content!
No mate. It wasn't the holmefield hum as I've done a video on that and already got to the bottom of it. Go check it out if you're interested 👍
@@GrizzlyGaz probs just a frequency thry use to dispurse people from the area, i thought it was ilegal these days to use those.
@@allanallen1835 🤷🏼♂️
Thats an ultrasonic soundwave of some sort. Terrible. Its like someone didn't want you camping there.
I get that feeling everywhere I camp! 🤣
@@GrizzlyGaz bigfoot use infrasound waves to disorentate people,it creates confusion, sickness, flight or fight feelings. Always trust your gut feeling mate.If it dont feel right something is usually happening. High strangeness and bigfoot usually go hand in hand.
What a lovely place , the house was gorgeous. Get a jiggle on , that’s cute never heard that before . My ex is moving back to the U K soon so I hope one day I will be visiting . 🙏🏻💗
It is a beautiful place 🤩
That siren sound at the end reminds me of if I open the doors of my car whilst the keys are left in &/or my headlights are left on. Weird. Great video though.
It's good to see local lads n local history...im from Halifax....hell in the shire .brilliant video
Thanks Peter. I enjoy local history...
Check out my other vids if you enjoyed this one 🤩
Great vid, I had to find out what that noise was from your intro lol! 😂
Haha thanks 👍
Wow, great views, great history lesson, great video but horrible noise. Lol
Tell me about it
Great views and such an interesting history!
Cheers pal
@@GrizzlyGaz 🍻 fella!
Once I heal up from my surgery, I’m going to put together a song for you and Fendy!
@@RabbitholeswithRegie nice!!! Can't wait for that! 🤗
hey Gaz, the camping and exploring started off great'' its just bloody typical of the alarm going off! its just unfortunate camping near industrial sites you neve know what's going to happen.
nothings worse than having to pack away in the middle of the night. sorry this happened to you buddy. i bet this mistake is the last😵💫
yes i agree camping is all about getting away from humans lol and industrial buildings.
bless you both. be safe out there gaz.
👍👍👍👍👍THUMBS UP👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks Anthony
The path under the railway brings u on lister lane near badge lane
Cheers 👍
Sorry you didn't get a full camp in. But I really enjoyed this video! I enjoyed hearing about the history of the place. It's very beautiful. I'm hopeful to be able to visit England one day.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The noise seems to be louder when you point the camera at your tent. How strange.!!!
