That Machamp at the end was actually from an in game trade, exclusive to yellow. There’s a guy in the entrance to one of the underground paths that trades a Machoke for a Cubone.
Isn't the one between Saffron and Vermillion?
And it evolves?

If you used pokemon bank, the shiny Rayquaza could be legit. You could get special pokemon if you transferred a certain number of pokemon into it, and a shiny Rayquaza was one of them.
Could also be from emerald lmao.
@Lionelmessiisthegoat192 My assumption on how he would have gotten it is based on the "I'm not sure if that's legit" comment. He'd probably remember if he got it in a normal play through.

I think the coolest thing from my old games is my original copy of Silver has Pokemon with active Pokerus still.

I remember ds wifi battles on TH-cam all the early PokeTubers pointing the webcam at the screen. This was super nostalgic, thanks.
Please, transfer those rare event pokemon (like the NY Flygon) to Home so they don't get trapped in the cartridges forever when bank is shut down. And maybe do a video about that if you want, it could be cool.
For some reason bank isn’t loading on my 3ds so they’re stuck
@@PaPaSea the same thing happened to me. The trick is to make the battery die in that States. Give minnimal charge and try again. The second time usually works for me. If freezes again, It shouldn't take long until the battery dies and you can try again.
I recently found my copy of HeartGold with a "livingdex" (had all pokemon except the mythicals)

Your Ho-Oh might be legit. It says from Kanto because it’s from the FRLG Sevii Islands. It’s a wild encounter so it can be caught in any ball.
It’s not level 70 though. The one at Naval Rock is level 70, same with the Lugia.

Omega Ruby is my most played game as well, it was so fun between it being nostalgic from Gen3, the online play, the shiny hunting, and i think it was peek for online battling.
It's always fun looking at old save files to see if anything cool is left behind!
The ALAMOS Darkrai is certainly real, but judging by the date you probably came back to this game to try the DNS exploit to get the event!
I'd be VERY interested to know more about that mysterious "By Jazz" psuedo JP/ENG Fire Red game. I collect mainline (and fan made) Pokemon games and would love to own one of those myself. Also, just seems like it'd be an important piece of history that'd I'd love to hear about. People were really emulating and translating that far back, which to me is insane to think about! I've been playing Pokemon since Silver, but I wasn't really made aware of any types of hacks until the early Diamond/Pearl days.
I'm pretty sure my dad got it on ebay in 2004 but considering it's a bootleg I'm surprised it was allowed

Wow...this video makes me happy and sad at the same time.sad I didn't have friends to trade with like never had Gengar until gts and also sad my dad didn't allow me to play,so I had to play secretly.that means no events ever.but also it makes me happy because I think about the actual cool things that happened like I actually got legit pokerus on an arktos of All Things,which I carried over into every game .thank you for this rollercoaster because now I can play with my husband and am just really happy with everything ❤
Sometimes when i open up an old file of mine i can see exactly what media i was into at the time. Case in point, a new leaf green file i started in high school where everyone is named after homestuck characters.
I also like to finish the file but with nuzlocke rules starting from that point. It doesnt always go well
My save files are all so tame. Apart from my first Diamond play-through in which I didn't really know english all that well and thought I was forced to nickname, I never nicknamed anything. Every PC in every save file is filled with (an attempt at) a full living dex, all caught in regular poke balls. I never really got any attachment to specific pokemon, because they were all just steps towards the full pokedex. Only my starters and whichever pokemon I used for false swipe and status effects for catching the pokemon I needed, really stuck with me. My Diamond save is probably my favorite, because it was my first and I have like 800 hours in it. The hall of fame is filled with entries of just 3 pokemon, my lvl 100 infernape, a pokemon I used for fly and whichever pokemon I was training to get to level up for a pokedex entry at the time. I had a handwritten cheat sheet in my DS case, that had all pokemon I still needed to get, where to get them and how to evolve them. On the back of the cheat sheet I had written down which move I needed to use for each pokemon in the elite 4 to one-shot them with my infernape. I suppose the most interesting save file I have, would be my recent Let's go Pikachu save. In that game I tried to get a full shiny living dex, because it's so easy to get shinies in that game.
I remember my cousin having a similar bootleg Japanese copy of LeafGreen. They gave me a Slowbro named “SLOWB” and I remember trading it away for the Lickitung on that one route

I remember my first pokemon game ever was yellow and my mum gifted it to me for starting school. It was a combo pack with the pika-edition gameboy color. I loved it to pieces. I remember I couldn't read at that time so I had a lvl 70 Nidoking (I loved the male nidoran sprite) when I hadn't even badge 7 xD Found it a few years back and was devasteded when I realized the savefile was gone. But I still cherish the game as one of my most loved childhood memory.
The used one brings me back, because I also had the unknown dex and the better part of a living dex on my emerald when I moved out for college and decided to sell my Pokemon games (I was in a lull in my Pokemon interest, almost immediately reversed once I got to college). Still stings.

This kinda makes me wanna check out my old cartridges. Unfortunately, im pretty sure my gen 2 cartridges have dead batteries, and maybe my gen 1 cartridges, too. But starting from the GBA onward, everything should still work.
I was just looking at my old crystal cartridge! I had the shiny gyrados and a typhlosion, also a pidgey and dratini on the fall of fame.

That Ricky the Machamp in Yellow was actually from an in game trade. You can trade a Cubone for a Machoke named Ricky, which then immediately evolves into Machamp

I have a strange feeling when I'm going through old saves on used pokemon games.
On one hand... I bought the game because I want to play it. But when I open up the game and there's 200 hours of someone's hard work... I just can't bring myself to delete it. Unless it's all hacked of course. I reset that instantly. But if I find a legit game, I just can't do it.
You picked up Darkrai in 2019 so either you didn't collect mystery gift for 12 years or you used one of the more recent fan hosted DNS servers to get it. I would personally consider that legit but some might not.

That shiny Pichu in your Pearl version can be used in HGSS to get the notch-eared Pichu in ilex forest
the reason i bought a little anbernic handheld emulator that does up to gba is because all my old gameboy games internal batteries died
i do recall because of the unlimited master balls/rare candies my original blue team was all lvl 100 starter trio, nidoking/queen, and like articuno or mewtwo or something like that
somebody was always just willing to trade you whatever because of the unlimited items it was easy to get them back (except safari zone pokemon)
Being able to clone any Pokémon and item in Emerald is so good.

my order of pokemon games is a bit weird, i started in gen 4 and then after gen 8 i went and played gen 3 cuz i didn’t have any of the gen 3 games, and then got gen 9. but my order of playing pokemon was:

Nice you know it's crazy I remember crying like crazy for both a GBA and NDS lite for silver and diamond respectively early 2000s both white, only to find decades later Jotoh and Sinho the respective settings the only cartridges I legitimately owned are like super related in myth via the sinjoh ruins arceus event, I swear my mom was blessed to get me these two lone cartridges long before arceus' debut😂😂😂 CHOSEN man! Nah honestly I couldn't get passed the lady warning me about the grass for Silver, I watched my cousin play it for me. Got better on diamond run 3 years later tho. Good times.

I deleted my safe file I cheated on (sapphire) because I wanted to play legit and start fresh on sun and moon. Way more fun to play legit and to shiny hunt etc.

Are you going to transfer all you Pokemon into HOME through Bank? The cut-off time is coming up in April and they will be stuck forever on the cartridge.
It's impossible to transfer from pre gen 4 now because Pokemon transporter to home no longer works
You can still grab gen4-gen7 Pokemon and transfer them up. I recently took all my starters, teammates, and special event pokemon from my 4th and 5th gen DS games and got them safely in HOME now.@@Mboone1994
