The eviction and foreclosure moratoria that the federal CARES Act provided will expire on July 25, 2020. The temporary protection against evictions and foreclosures that many state and local courts, states, and localities provided have also expired or will expire? What options or legal recourse are available to renters and owners who cannot pay their rent or their mortgages after the CARES Act protections end?
