1.) RED Vial
When blood is collected in a red vial, it is allowed to clot, and the sample is then centrifuged to separate the liquid portion (serum) from the solid components (clotted blood cells). The resulting serum is typically used for various laboratory tests, including biochemical analyses, hormone assays, and certain infectious disease screenings
Sample name:- LFT,KFT,VIT-D,SERIUM CALCIUM,SERUM IRON,Etc
2.)purple Vial
EDTA vials are commonly used for tests such as complete blood count (CBC), blood typing, and DNA analysis. These tests often require whole blood samples without clotting. The EDTA vial helps preserve the integrity of the blood sample by preventing coagulation
LIKE:- CBC,HBA1C, Etc
3.) PT/INR (Blue) Vial
Mostly for Check The Blood Clotting Time
4.) gray Vial( Glucose)
Generally for sugar & lactate blood tests
