Best Function on Samsung Music is the Adaptive Sound option. I noticed it really helped improve the sound for my 48 year old ears. Even having near perfect hearing, as tested just a few weeks ago, I noticed a big improvement of heard music quality after running through the setup with the earphones on. Then, after plugging it in to my stereo, it really improved the music.

After pre-ordering on 8/20, my Note9 & free gift (AKG N60 headphones) are finally scheduled to arrive later today. Even though I've owned every Note since the original, I do forget a few of the apps I've came to love over the years. 'Samsung Music' will be the first thing I download after I transfer everything over from my Note8. Thanks for reminding me Saki! Btw I use my Note8 very heavily daily, my internal storage is 98% full, and it still runs excellent! Right now I have 8 apps open, I'm checking social media, and streaming TH-cam to my tv through the TH-cam app on my phone, with ZERO lag. Idk about those who say the Note8 lags after a few months as mine still runs like new! Thanks for all your great Galaxy Note videos Saki!
I did not get the reason to install sound assistant! You can justify the volume just using the volume buttons much easier than using this floating button. Am I missing sth?
What option is needed is a balance option to make the bottom speaker softer than the ear piece or top front facing speaker since the bottom speaker is louder than the ear piece making the stereo effect un even.All good Stereos and all the old stereos have some kind of audio balance control.

I have heard that some people have not completely entered their phone in the USB C, and thats why doesn't work. With a slightly thin blade, tighten the rubber of USB C in U shape plug until the phone fits well into the C-socket. Then it goes!

Why would I want to touch the sound button on the phone to cause another button to deal with the volume when I could of done that when I touched the 1st button? Isn't that like turning the car key to start the motor then turn it off then turn it back on again so that you can get some kind of mystery thrill doing the same thing two times.?
If your hands aren't available to pick up the device, but can touch the screen like with wet nails, or if you break your hand and it's in a cast, or something like that

Do not place Sound Assistant floating icon to the bottom left or right corners of your Note 9. You will not be able to re-position it once you do. You will have to uninstall then re-install the application to get it out of either of these locations.
Thanks for the video. Edge lighting plus is pretty cool, just turned it on and messed around with the settings. But Samsung Music is huge! Probably never would have found it if I didn't watch this. Thanks for the tip.

Yes. It will play if it's downloaded to your device. I also know an app that lets you download videos from any site. It also lets you convert them to MP3. It's called Vidmate. It's not on app stores so you have to get an apk. For that go to aptoide. Hope this helps!

me too, i can't find it on galaxy apps. it looks like samsung delete this and changing the apps to non free apps. because the apps that simillar to edge lighting, show up with price to download.
If you guys are wanting the edge lighting all you have to do is go to settings>display>go down to edge screen> click on it> then click on where it says edge lighting and there you have it. No I didn't have to download anything. It's already on the phone. Yes I have the note 9 as well
NO the apps you see on your home screen or other screens are shortcuts. Try uninstalling one...it disappears from home screen and app drawer. But you can have two accounts for some apps like messenger, instagram and FB for instance. That probably means you will have an exact replica of the same app but with a different account.
Just got my 9. Fav feature so far is iris unlock. It's so fast. Barely look at it and phone opens. Got $600 for my galaxy9+ sale back to att and 2 note9's at one for 75% off. Bill only went up $40 and I added a line and gave number to family member for $40per month. . 20gb a month on each phone.

It is running Oreo out of the box actually. I have Edge lighting but not the option to get more like that boomerang effect. The Edge Lightning app is not in my Galaxy App store. Another thing that is missing is the option to buy themes from the Samsung theme store...I only get the free ones and I don't have the animated (video) lock screen option either. Come to thing of it I could never buy themes on any of my Samsung phones. Is this a regional thing because I'm not in the States because if it is, it sucks. Maybe they think something is wrong with my money lol I'm running Oreo 8 and samsung experience 9.5 btw. Anyone else have these issues?

Apparently all of the Good Lock 2018 apps aren't available in Europe/Sweden where I live so can't find the "Edge lighting+" app. I'm running the latest oreo update on my GS9

The Samsung music has no music for me, I guess u have to have spotify to use it. And also, i used the demo music but my edge lighting isn't working. Its turned on.

Note 9 user and live with a s9 userr.....edge lighting no longer works on Android Pie.....why I loved it for music!

It just gives you an access in advance volume setting. But you can still use the volume button like you usually do.

Samsung Music Player has another feature you didn't mention. It has a built in ID3 tag editor. Menu within a menu within the playback.

You pretty much just get the change the color and the way it shows up on the screen but you cant pick different colors for different apps

They will transfer even the Note9 will have the same set up as ur Note8 did before u did the transfer

The samsung music app. It used to give me the colour of the album art in the notification panel , like google music . But it does not do that now

Are you able To use the application with the absence of Internet or Wi-Fi. As an example can you listen to the music on an airplane?
It plays what ever music you have downloaded to the physical storage on the phone, internal or sd card, so yes it works in airplane mode.
