I had said "now I will add that I did not have a newer iPhone model, I can't speak on them" My Mom has the newest one and yes there's a big difference. Not in the way it operates because mine worked just as good but the quality of pictures, absolutely. So yes I do agree with you. Just forgot to put it in this comment thread is all 🙃 Basically ANY phone I went with would have been an upgrade in many aspects but I do feel this one takes a bit better pics than my Moms but that is quite subjective. My daughters Dad beats both of us with his Pixel 3xl though! Lol

@@iiiEazyiii try Google messages, its pretty simplistic like imessages but comes with dark theme and a bunch of extra features like copy pasting codes that it detects when you are doing authentification when making a new account on a website.

I've always known android to be slightly better in some aspects it's just when I got my iPhone 6s, iphone and android were pretty much equals so it was just a matter of opinion but after the galaxy s7 came out android was clearly on top

This really proves how advanced Android is over the iphone. IPhone has minimum user flexibility, and look at the amount of stuff you can do on an android. IPhone treats you just as a user but android treats as an admin.
Facts. Im a mac guy for my laptop and andriod for my phone because of the flexibility.

Verizon said sorry it was while supplies last 🙄😭 But someone told me I may be able to go to Samsung’s website and register my phone and they may send them to me. I’m going to try because go figure I dropped my Bluetooth headphones in the dentist parking lot and went right back and someone ran them over 😜

@@peacesellsprod I got an otterbox. Best case that I've ever bought. Bought one for my last phone as well. Just took video with it on 4k 60fps. Quality is amazing for a phone.

It's a great case, it's clear so you get to see the back of the phone which is amazing (I got the white one so it looks great) and the buttons are super soft. Since it's a gel case, it's bendable and it's extremely slim. It even has raised edges to protect the cameras and the screen 👌🏻

For the contact information on your lock screen, I recommend putting your primary email account just in case you lose your phone or leave it somewhere unintentionally. Somebody may have the decency to contact you to get your phone back
I always put reward if found, my email and home phone number. I would gladly pay $100 to get it back, as long as it's working of course.

You can also reduce animations to .5x when you activate developer options. Makes the phone seem more snappy when moving around the software.

I come from an S7 and I miss how the upper led light blinked while the screen was locked to show me that I have notifications. Can edge lighting do that?

AWESOME... I just came across a cool one. When u swipe down to open notification, if you swipe down with one finger it opens half but if you swipe down with 2 fingers it opens it completely. Easy but cool one to know

CHONO SANCHEZ I wanna say that this has been a standard feature of Android itself for some time now, probably since KitKat or Lollipop, if I remember correctly. It's just that not all OEMs enabled it. Nice old feature making its way back 😁

Great vid. Loved all the tips except for the part about "always on display" which i strongly disagree with. Having the display actually always on is a huge benefit. I love to have my phone on my desk and be be able to see notifications and the time without touching it, also very good for meetings where you don't want people seeing you touch the screen. For me it is totally worth using a little extra battery and as long as you keep your AOD screen mostly black it won't even use that much extra.

So basically Edge Lightning is a great feature, but currently it seems to not be working while the display is locked. So it only works when you have unlocked the phone ... which is kinda useless. Hope they fix that soon, because the missing notification bar needs to be replaced somehow.
I also miss the feature where it use to light around the edges when I'm listening to music on my phone.
Works fine while phone is off on my s10+

I'd say the splurge was worth it. No one needs 12gb RAM on a phone so it'll be future proof for years to come. I got the S10e because I prefer a smaller screen but only for that I would've been tempted

But the edge lighting notification is temporary and does not stay on. The notification LED blinked until you cleared the alert.
Then don't upgrade
But the LED flashes drain the battery as well
If you missed a notification the phone will vibrate as soon as you pick it up.
Which resolution are u using , and would high resolution drain the battery
It would but not directly because of the screen itself.. but because of rendering in QHD and streaming high quality content would make the phone work harder..
My advice use QHD only when you are at home and using WiFi.. When being outside the data plan would require higher bandwidth and sun and reflections won't even let you notice the additional quality.

@@pradipkarki7743 Factory reset if works would certainly tell you if it was something related to the settings you chose.
Myself I installed a clean OneUi version on Sammobile.. Not recommended if you are not sure how to do it.

My always on display isn't that bad on my battery life
just 4% battery went down in 40min of use with full brightness..pretty good battery life right there...

Awesome video! I have always been a Samsung user, switched to an iPhone (because everybody and they mama praises them) and after a few days I returned it and got the s10. I am blown away and extremely happy! This phone is life! The simplicity, sleekness and super lightweight! The Dolby Atmos makes sound quality amazing along with video enhancer making the picture quality amazing and don't forget to change screen resolution to WGHD!! All the little features and customizations you can do are way better than an iPhone. Samsung snapped on this!!!
