its great when YT recommends new channels and you see newcomers uploading such wonderfully crafted and worked on videos. Reminds me of the good old times. Keep the content up and congratulations. Subbed.
Randomly stumbled upon this. Thanks for making a 4:18 video saying the amount of things that the usual gaming channel takes 2 hours to explain with unnecessary examples and quotes. Straight to the point and engaging. I appreciate this and please TH-cam algorithm keep me here forever. Subscribed. Keep up the good work.
Zeigarnik effect might have something to do with perfectionism, or desire for watching something like series/videos from beguiling to end with the fear of missing out something and isn't satisfactory if not done. Accumulation of tabs, stuff just to see later (I must see this later), ADHD may be related too. Thank you for introducing me to this concept term.
I 100% a game when it's not a lot of bother to do so. It's usually more about the achievements than the game itself. I've 100% titles which I didn't like, and 10%d titles I loved. Portal is one of my favorite games, and I only got 5/15 achievements for it. If I tried to force myself to 100% the game, it'd likely drop from my "favorites" list. On the other hand, I found Chop Goblins and TimeShifters "merely OK" but went on to 100% them.
For me there are games that pull me back due to their achievements, like Euro truck sim or cities skylines. Like what do you do when a game has no end? Did I win ETS after having technically unlimited money? Or Cities Skylines after hitting the first 100k city? But some games are not worth the hassle for achievements, such as path of exile (immense difficulty) or cheap games like Car Mechanic Sim where 100% can be obtained by hundreds of stupid actions not worth the time.
Great content, but please stop forcing your voice or whathever is this. It's realy annoying. P.S.: If this is truly your voice, I apologize. I don't want to be mean.
@@Eephus_Gaming I get it. It's just that it seems like you're trying to make your voice sounds deeper, I don't know. When u just talk souds pretty good.
I don't think it's forced, it sounds like how someone sounds when they're talking quietly. Maybe try talking louder and firmer? Keep up the good work though, great video!

Thanks!! I appreciate it.
After 1200 achievements in 2024 on steam, I can confirm - the way achievements are designed REALLY matters!
Couldn't agree more.!

I agree that all games should not be 100%ed I also have some games that I LOVE and I haven't and probably won't go back and 100% them.

Agreed. there are definitely games that I beat and won't waste the time 100%ing.

My voiceovers are one of the things that I am trying to work on🤣. I appreciate the comment.
