Residency Match with low score, attempts, changing specialties

How to match if you have Low score, or attempt, in residency? How to go about changing specialties to match in USMLE residency? hello sir, i have a doubt is it compulsory to publish research paper in usa or is it okay if i publish in my country , and what about LOR , US LOR is compulsory or LOR from other country is OK ?

US research is not required but recommended. US Lors are almost required even if you are a recent graduate. Hard to match without US lors

In general less than 220 for visa seeking is considered low. But some specialties are more open to low scores than others.
