- Lemax The Spinning Snow Flake Repair, a long repair, but it is functional now. Almost all the issues were caused by the gear in the base breaking the alignment stud.

Yes, yes I did stay for the whole thing. Learned a lot. Plan to watch again before giving this a try. Thank you.
For the price, these rides break easily in my opinion.Great detailed video.
They do.
This helped me fix a disconnected power wire in the base. Great video, although long, very thorough.
It is long, it was a very long repair. I am happy to here it helped you
wow - that was some project!
Awesome on the repair . this piece on my want list once I find decent price
If u can get too city lights , a Christmas store in San Diego. They have two in the as -is section each for 25$. Add this video , your good to go. If your really lucky sometimes the box is messed up, and that’s it, for 25 bucks. No warrenty
nice job .
Great video. Helped get everything working here except the optical sensor. Any words of wisdom on resetting it?
Set everything to the neutral or start position. Place the optical plate in the center where it aligns with the mounts and it should reset. What is it doing?
I'll try that. It is quickly turning off with the switch and not resetting to center. I put a volt meter on the sensor and am getting power when the bar crosses between the poles.
Start at center and you should have no voltage. Are the gear mounts broken like this one?
The mount was broken and repaired like you showed in the video. Having some board problems not getting power to some of the lights also. Voltage on the green/black wires from the sensor is zero when set to middle.
You probably have sheared wires in the arm causing light failure.
Zero volts is correct at its starting position.
I just purchased a roll of 2 strand magnet wire that would have been perfect here and I was thinking super glue also
I have a lemax vickis cattery. The sound doesnt work (which i am OK with) but it doesnt do its flashing lightening effect. Most of the static purple and orange lights work but one or two are out. Do you have a recommendation what I should do to get the lights working?
Sounds like the board has failed. If it is repairable, broken wires, bad component, etc., a custom circuit could be made that would allow the lighting to work as close to OEM as possible
Hey! Do take repair jobs? I've got a Wheel of Horror that just kind of died on me last year.
Yes, email randomjchannel@gmail.com with any info on what happened or what it does, if anything, when you turn it on.
