Without opening it, I would speculate it is the same motor or a synchronous motor

I have a question I was hoping you could help me with. I have a Lemax The sky swing. A Christmas swing merry-go-round. It is stopped working there are two motors. I have taken it apart and disconnected both motors but still led do not work. When I turn the rotary switch on I can hear a relay clicking but nothing happens Even with both motors disconnected. Any ideas with this could be could you be the switch? I have tried several power adapters. Send so far the only thing I can tell that is working is I hear the relay clicking. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a component has failed, either the rotary switch or a component soldered on the board. If you have a voltmeter, you would need to trace the power from the AC power port through the board to find the voltage drop or loss.

I have a question I just bought a used round up it lifts and has sound but doesn’t spin I opened it up tons of grease it seems like the teeth aren’t moving inside the lift arm is it probably the small little gear broke like in your other video

I would check the gears, use a magnifying glass if you can to see if there's a hairline fracture or a break in between the teeth. Check the belt tension to see if the belt is slipping. Lastly make sure the motor spins, sometimes they die without shorting out.

@@RandomJunkChannel ok thanks my big challenge is cutting the bottom of the platform open like you did in the video to remove the lifting arm to ge to the 2 bottom screws to open it up I removed the top two with a small screw driver and cranked it open a bit to see the belt is in place I turned the wheel with my finger and the gear did move so i thought the same thing with all that grease inside but I can’t see the little gear till I fully open it it might be that if not then the motor is shot but I will buy on eBay the bag of mixed gears I’m use to working on the telco Halloween animation figures but I bought this for 30 bucks off eBay for my Christmas carnival platform this year theses things are expensive online so I thought I take a chance with it. And your the only one I see on here that fixed one so I took some tips from your video what I’m in for lol thanks for the tips
