    Wowie! SOOO helpful. As someone recovering from a distal radius fracture, it is knowledge like this that is so essential for us to understand what we need, for a full (or close to full) recovery. Nowadays, we really need to advocate for ourselves, as Western doctors (for the most part) really aren't that supportive or helpful to us.

    • @edwigcarol4888
      @edwigcarol4888 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ooh it shrills my heart...
      Because they did a mess with my "reverse barton" by which my radius head had been ripped apart...
      What has helped me is :
      2 hours exercising daily over 2 years and longer to save 70 % of the function: 1500 hours self-made physio.
      They said 3 weeks it became 3 months illness and 3 years training
      My trust in medicine has been for ever reduced to zero.

    I could totally see them asking on my test which head is more proximal, the head of the radius or humerus?
    Just looking at the two bones one would think it would be the ulna since it starts a bit further up but it has a trochlear notch at the top, not a head.
    This is all great info.
