- The race for knowledge and the fight to defend freedom are the heart of the courageous adventures of Starcom. With the combined forces of Starbase Command, Airwing, and the Astro Marines, Starcom is the premier peacekeeping force in the growing planetary community. However, threatening peace in the solar system is the sinister, mysterious Emperor Dark who's ultimate plan is to rule over all with the help of his Shadow Force, an army of powerful vehicles, evil warriors, and Robot Drones. Now, for the first time, you can watch the entire series as Starcom battles the menacing Emperor Dark to save the cosmos.
Starcom: The U.S. Space Force Complete Series - Now available from Mill Creek Entertainment!
The US space force drawn and animated by the Japanese. :D
TRUMP USSF!!!
Well, they are the beneficiaries of much of our engineering and manufacturing.
This would make a kickass live action movie if done right. It could be what Independence Day: Resurgence should’ve been.
Man everyone is in a pressure suit except for the cat. Sure hope they don't take minor hit and decompress.
would be cool to see the cat's eyeballs pop out😾😹
Thats assuming the cat doesn't just get crushed by the G-forces when the pilot hits full burn
Don't worry he's got nine lives !
It would be like a Cat Cheeto puff.
Space cat u silly.
You just can't get animation like this anymore. It's all computerized and soulness now. But you can feel the life in the drawings here.
Agreed! I highly suggest people buy the complete series on DVD while it is cheap before it is out of print and skyrockets.
@Aspiring Marauder yes, there is good stuff, but in those days it had a sort of rawness to it, nowadays many things seem too polished, clean, further from reality. Hard to explain
I get what you mean, the slick look of digital animation kind of doesn’t have the same quality of hand-drawn, analog animation. But that animation was expensive to make, and fortunately modern animation software has figured out ways to replicate that vintage style perfectly while also saving hundred of hours in labor.
Check out ‘A Fox in Space’ as a great modern example: th-cam.com/video/uieM18rZdHY/w-d-xo.html
@Aspiring Bod I know exactly what you mean, but this happens to be no ThunderCats (or what have you). I just watched the first episode, and it seems to be a very rare example of the actual show's animation NOT sucking balls compared to the intro.

Wouldn't exactly call it high profile '80s anime quality, but you can tell this one _wasn't_ subcontracted off to some ultra low-budget studio after the intro got made. Surprisingly decent.
There seems to be a pretty sharp decline in the later episodes though, guess the money ran out. But that first one looks awesome.
This was just the intro, though.
The actual episodes were always far less well-animated.
What an AMAZING show and a truly underappreciated gem of the 80's. When I was young this show was hard to catch because it was on during the weirdest times the morning and it always moved around but what I did watch made an impact. Even back then as a kid it was an inspiring show with people of different races working together, using technology and exploring space. Ideas of the future where so hopeful back then and there was US patriotism in spades. Thank you Mill Creek for bringing the complete series out on DVD. Now, more than 30 years later this show is still relevant especially since President Trump has actually created the "US Space Force". Now I can share this show with my little girl and she can be a part of this new wave US patriotism and hope for the future that started with me and this show 30+ years ago. What's old is new again! :) #Blacks4Trump
See I always thought that was the coolest toy line of the 80's
It had it's charm. The magnets were cool.
ikr? If you had a Starmax Bomber, you were one of the cool kids.
@@zecraw the fact that the magnets on the figures could trigger the spring-loaded gimmicks on the shops and the ships could magnetically lock together or to objects was pretty cool
This show was ahead of its time
Really was
Man, Trump's Space Force looks great
Lexington73300 yeah, they were called ‘Earth Federation Space Force’, who became the ‘Titans’ after the One Year War, who then got crushed by the ‘Anti-Earth Union Group’
@@godwindracing6056 soon Earth's defence force would be weak and last line of defence will be composed of old veterans and a bunch of ragtag gun owners and militias fight against an evil empire that guillotines people a la reign of terror.
this was one of the shows that enabled me to speak halfway fluent English with only 7 years of age.
Ironic to think this has now become reality.
And now there is a US Space Force!
And the HQ is called StarCom!
Though we have yet to advance to the point where we have full-fledged space fighters and spacecraft carriers, but... It's a start.
0:07 SCRAMBLE!!! It really is the air force of the future.I used to have toys based on this show. The spacecraft were magnetic so the figures and other ships could stick to them.
Well if it means anything there actually are plans in Congress to create a U.S. Space Force by splitting off the Space Command from the U.S. Air Force.
federalnewsradio.com/defense-news/2017/06/house-panel-votes-to-split-air-force-create-new-u-s-space-corps/
Fun fact: it's the show that is based on the toys
@@EttoreB93 I guess I stand corrected.
Ok, so it's basically GI Joe in space, right? Hell, I'd watch it ;p
I've 85% of StarCon toys completion in my childhood days in the 80s. Miss those years so much. Damn! ☺️
siiiiick toys, I had a lot too, was hard because they were expensive, mechanism was so cool though
I always thought it's a shame it only had 1 short season, the story/premise, animation, music, characters, technology displayed and locations throughout the solar system were great. Certainly one of the honorable mentions/standouts for me when it comes to 80's cartoons.
A lot of cartoons of the 80s and early 90s only ran for short seasons because they were designed to sell toys. Nothing else.
@@Ionsniper agreed 🪨
@@Ionsniper Laughing in full TMNT gear !
It was one of the most "japanese" animation... i guess it was sacked for that
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare looks weird.
I want to join the real space force just like starcom
Are you going to fight aliens with your cat?
Eric Sanders maybe in about 100 years it will be like this . I’m sure we all will be dead by then. 😂😂😂😂
Hate to tell you this dude, but there is no real space force.
Donald Trump brought me here.
Same here! LOL
What was a forgotten 80's toyline/cartoon is now our reality.
We gonna sing national anthem in MARS.
@@ThePaulz80Not with grammar like that you won’t. We gonna??? We’re going to you mean
Every original. Has it's Cheap Copy.
*Looking at you US Orbital Defense Force*
Just got the complete series on DVD. Underrated gem!
best episode I think ep 11 "Hot Enough For You? "
too bad they never had a showdown with emperor Dark's ship like the intro suggested
Caverns of Mars was my favourite. I was creeped out like fck by it when I was a kid.
Reemembered the creepiness after for my whole life. That's how good cartoons were back then.
Centurions aswell - a total gem.
The times when cartoons had "30 seconds for science" at the end sometimes explaining interesting stuff.
Ahh, the nostalgia.
Agreed! It was always on at weird times so back in the 80's it was heard to catch all the episodes. So glad I got the complete series with great picture quality. It was a show ahead of its time and should have gotten more love.
loved this when I was a kid.. the toys were epic. Little did I expect that it would be actually stood up IRL in 2019 and 2021
Saw this cartoon series on boomerang i was 19 at the time😊
now it's actualised by the us senate - this must obviously have been it's inspiration
Today this became a reality !
Best Timeline Ever !
Glad to see Netflix rebooted this with Steve Carell.
I would have preferred that. Netflix loves them live action cartoons, Steve Carrel in Starcom would have been hilarious.
Cartoons of the 80s can’t beat them
SPACE FORCE
Man was this ever a blast from the past!
This series looked very impressive when i was a kid.
At around this time in the 80's there was a shift towards higher quality in the new cartoons that came in the late 80's
it's stil is VERY IMPESSIVE looking
Trump Space Force! Huzzah!
I would give everything to watch it again with good quality.
most creepiest cartoon series i have ever seen
When @realDonaldTrump talks about the Space Force I can't help but think of this. 🤣🚀🇺🇸 #SpaceForce
Star Com!!! My name
1🇺🇲🌈🎄🏈🦌 KELLY SCOUT!!!
such an awesome Toyline! ... i miss these good old days 😁
This is how I want Trump's space force to be
Trump won’t be in office in time to see any of this
I’m here because of Trump . I missed this cartoon
Donald J Trump brought me here.
Lightyear
Is it just me or the enemy ship's bow looks like George Soros' face?

Why cant they make a new version of this???
because it would suck , they can't afford high production values this days
Mostly because Coleco, the creators of the toy line this is based on, went out of business.
If it makes you feel any better, our President is seeking to make a new version of this in real life.
@@Jay_76 I know the present owner of the Coleco name, hes an interesting character. He may not allow a new StarCom
Where are we headed, Captain Miffy? Meow? But we just got BACK from meow!
1🇺🇲🌈🎄🏈☝️., )\ HAHA CAN EVEN 1🇺🇲 MAKE A DIFFERENCE!?!? YES!!! DEFINITIVELY SO!!! NAME: KELLY SCOUT OVA AND OUT HAHAHA ., 👍)\ THANKS JESUS AND GO \ `
Do you have episodes of StarCom: The U.S. Space Force that were rerun on The Family Channel, syndicated by Bohbot Entertainment in 1994, in the mid 1990's as part of Bohbot Entertainment's Amazin! Adventures package and on PAX TV as part of Freddy's Firehouse block?
As a kid, you missed the part where the pilots have pressure suits but not the cat!! Is it an alien cat? 🤔😁
I am an 80's kid and now that Im older I have also become a toy collector. Ive never seen this cartoon but I love Transformers, Ghostbusters, etc and I saw a review on a toy from this show and the quality and coolness factor was high. On top of that its been mentioned that peeps from NASA actually helped on some of those designs. As soon as I have the money their base and the fighter shuttle we see here are MINE! :)
USSF's training command is now called STARCOM. This is more real than you think...
Seriously? Why would America want a military presence up in Space?
Before Trump, there was StarCom
Oh, man.... I've got complete mixed feelings about the intro.
The musc sucks compared to the french intro. I grew up watching the french dubs on a lot of classic 80's cartoons.
No wonder it never got a 2nd season...
The cat doesn’t have a space helmet - does the cat die?
No cats can breathe in upper atmosphere better than humans so no mask needed
Reminds me of g.i joe mixed with transformers. In a sense. Along with buzz lightyear.
When should Mill Creek be releasing a complete animated series of Lady Lovely Locks and the Pixietails on DVD in Region 1?
*Ungodly laughter from 2021 where there is, in fact, an American space force*
Fucking epic!!
This is now real!
This was basically supposed to be G.I. Joe in space lol. As a kid i absolutely loved it.
So did the bad guys just win? I'm pretty sure they blew up the white man's base in the opening theme song.
Trump should have used this video to promote creation of Space Force.
trumps favorite childhood tv show
Happy 35th Birthiversary, StarCom
I used to have loads of these figures as a kid. They all had magnets on their feet.
2024 LEGO Space brought me here
Guys you should the French intro. It's way better
1:08 --- Link is a Pilot! You can see the symbol of the Triforce on his uniform
Trump brought me here.
"The Moon belongs to America."
The best toys I had, Magna-lock On.
I had all the toys! They were awesome!!
...apparently 45 is a fan of cartoons from the 80's
I don't even remember this show? It must've came on at Sundays when I would be at church.
Do you think this is where trump came up with the idea lol.
Who here still watching at 2021 !
I have been looking for this forever!
How would you like your eggs sir?

I had the toys as a kid, they were awesome!

Donald Trumps Spaceforce
AMAZING
0:44 The Monarch!
0:08 careful or he will turn in to a hulk.
God bless our Emperor for Life Donnie! Saving us from the Aliens on the Moon and Ray Walston the Democrats Master Mind from Mars!!!!
I had all the toys but never realized this was a show...dang you 1980’s Newfoundland tv!!!
Man, the Coleco toys were pricey back then. Had only the budget for a Laser Rat or Missile Fox, loved the Laser Rat but they didn't have it in stock, so settled with Missile Fox which was a bit of disappointment. Would have loved to get Starmax Bomber, you could actually pack one smaller vehicle like Rat or Fox inside it!
I watched this show when I was a little kid, more than 40 years ago...!!! ❤
👍👍🇺🇸
now to find someone with a triangular face to lead shadow force
Since this happening for real. Can we also establish the galaxy rangers academy.
I'll GET YOU DOCTOR VENTURE! FOR I AM THE MONARCH!
This show inspired Trump
Revive starcom into a new generation of starcom the us space force
