Not too many Certina watches catch my eye but I really like the looks of this one. It would have been nice if it came with drilled lugs though. Can't wait to see it on the nato and really looking forward to the review!
It strikes me as incongruous that some manufacturers ship diving watches in waterproof containers, whereas dress watches, which need protection, can please themselves! Anders, so glad that you have chosen to give Certina a bit of love. A stunning reissue. I notice you haven't addressed your audio issues, as yet. Hope Santa can help!
Great video! I have been waiting to see this watch since I have a Ball Skindiver which is basically the same watch. I love the look of mine, and they look almost identical. Well done!
Have you got a time machine having 31/12 on the warranty card, ha, just received this myself on Friday and after a few strap changes still undecided, was lucky and found a great deal online so that is one factor in me wanting to keep it plus the fact it's not mainstream and not a lot of people will know what it is i like, just by seeing the lack of videos on you tube you can tell it's going to be a sleeper. The powermatic 80 is a big bonus too. Personally think the bezel makes it look bigger than it is and wish they would have kept it the same width as the case, don't see the reason for the over hang.
Lee White I was a bit surprised by it as well but nice gesture from the seller to make my watch younger than it is. I would have wished they kept it at 40-41mm but it wears very nicely nonetheless. I hope you will enjoy yours. Best regards, Anders.
