Okay for those wondering in the Melee section how I unlocked Pichu before those like Young Link or Dr. Mario, I only erased the data for unlocking the secret characters which still allowed me to play the event matches I unlocked. Also in the Brawl section as to why the fights are in Project M. Personal preference and because I could.

Well imo, It doesn't affect the video too much, as the way you unlock them is the same, but I can see where you're coming from, some people might get mad that the stage you fight the characters on isn't on their normal Brawl copy, and PM isn't exactly what some remember as Brawl, haha

Having 4 foes (Ness, Ganondorf, Bowser Jr., and Jigglypuff) to fight in the Wii U would've been a good idea. They should've done this. To unlock them, you have to play 8-player mode the 1st time or 10 times, though they should've been working together, instead of fighting each other. Not to mention, it would give more purpose of unlocking characters.
Also if you failed to unlock, say Falco, then beat 100 man smash and fail to beat Wario, then do a smash battle, both would challenge you at once (and they would team up on you) but be easier to launch, and you would be harder to launch, killing one but dying to the other would unlock the one you beaten, and winning would unlock both
Well smash 5 has 12 charactets starting roster (the same 12 from 64, with captain falcon, ness, jigglypuff, luigi now unlocked). The rest of the roster is all locked. So that is 60 characters you have to unlock.
BTW, i am down to see the video of 60 characters being unlocked lol.

Imagine the Original 8 (Mario, DK, Yoshi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu) becoming unlockable characters for Smash 6?
Here’s my unlock criteria
Yoshi- Clear Classic Mode without continuing / Play Vs. Mode for the first time
Samus- Play a Metroid related stage 10 times / Clear Classic with a 4.0 difficultly / Play Vs. Mode 10 times
Donkey Kong- Clear Classic with a 5.0 difficultly or higher / Play Vs. Mode 20 times
Fox- Clear Classic in less than 15-20 minutes with any character on any difficultly / Play Vs. Mode 30 times
Kirby- Clear 100 Multi Man Battle / Play Vs. Mode 40 times
Link- Clear Classic with Toon Link / Play Vs. Mode 50 times
Pikachu- Clear Classic 10 times / Play Vs. Mode 60 times
Mario- Clear Classic with ALL the Starter Characters / Play Vs. Mode 100 times
How did you unlock Ganondorf as Young Link before Dr. Mario?
+Elliot-The-Smeargle In order to get Dr. Mario, you have to complete Classic Mode or Adventure Mode with Mario.
Josh366lol2 But he got Young Link as Ganondorf before Doctor Mario. In order to get Ganondorf, you have to clear Event 29, which can only be unlocked with Link, or playing 600 VS matches. With Dr. Mario, 100.

+Ell10t Well the requirement for unlocking Young Link is 500 vs matches or completing Classic or Adventure mode with Link, Zelda and 8 other characters. And since their are 14 default characters, it's not a strech tp assume that Mario could've been one of the four he left behind to get Young Link, then play event matches, and then play 100 vs matches.

He's in a hacked version of brawl called project m.
GHZoner I don't think the stages would be as much of an issue to the viewer as the fact that it could be jarring that I chose gameplay of a mod over the the game it came from. Still, it was my preference anyhoo.

Neither, it's just personal preference, and besides: PM only changes character movesets, the way you unlock them is still the same
