- Today I finally bought my dream car, a JDM Mazda FD RX7... With the notorious 13B turbo rotary engine and it's crazy bad reliability issues, I can't help but think what have I gotten myself into... 😭

They arent that unreliable. With v mount. It should be very cool and not prone to the heat cycling issues which can cause wear.

Just discovered your channel, bro and it’s amazing. Started with a Mazda 323 form 1985 over 20 years ago, then I was hooked onto Mazda and Mitsubishi and JDM cars in general. This is my dream car as well and hopefully I can get my hands on a nice one, this year. I live in the UK at the moment but originally from Romania. Would love to have a run in some nice cars with you around the Transfagarasan in my home country. Hope you enjoy this beauty to the maximum. Subscribed.

Nice one mate . Rotaries are reliable, they just need some more loving attention. Cooling, oil & ignition must all be well maintained and tip top . Regular redlining once warmed up to keep carbon deposits away as well plus Extra insurance with using idemitsu premix

Happy to see you happy brotha! It reminds me when I bought my first car which was an FD back when I was 16 in 2003, it’s been a few years to say the least but I still have my FD3S to this day.
Never would I have thought it’d have it for this long. Enjoy it, they are wonderful cars!!
p.s. hoping to get my second FD in the near future. In innocent blue mica. My personal favorite color for the FD. Mine is a vintage red R1. Anyhow welcome to the RX-7 world Clay 🙌🏼

Such a clean ride, congrats mate! I used to own a 2002 blue FD Type R Bathurst in Sydney in 2011-2013 when I was an international student. Your FD reminds so much of mine - RE bonnet, low, ganador mirrors, FEED sideskirts, odula carbon wing, Mica Blue. Had one of the best time of my life with it and that car didn't break down once on me. If you look after the car, it will look after you 😉It had the FD3S plate which is no longer available (cos I reported it as stolen lol). If I were you I'd get the FEED wide fenders to complete the look 👌

Mazda FD RX7 is one of my dream cars, it is not easy to get one from where I'm at, so I will stay with my EG Hatch for now. I am so happy for you bro, I've watched so many of your videos, and you are awesome!

Ever since I was a little kid all I've ever wanted was a rex (well & a 32 godzilla) & now finally at age bloody 40 I have the funds but don't even know where to start in finding the right one. And it's super frustrating that my bf & family aren't car ppl & don't "get it" & it just causes arguments & that's why I say I was 'cursed with the affliction of loving cars' lol.
