बूट पॉलिश का गाना तो मैं अपने बचपन से सुन रहा हूं लेकिन आज फ़िल्म के 67वें वर्ष मैंने देखी। अपने आँसू के सैलाब को रोक ना सका। बच्चों ने क्या आला दर्ज़ें का लाज़वाब अभिनय किया है और जॉन चाचा ने बच्चों में जो अच्छे जीवन जीने की हिम्मत फूंकी और उनका हौंसला बढ़ाया उसने हमारा दिल जीत लिया।

सर आजकल की फिल्में इस तरह की नहीं बनती हैं लेकिन थिएटर चाहे तो वापस कुछ समय के लिए इन फिल्मों को बीच-बीच में लगा सकते हैं ऐसा हुआ था एक बार एक थिएटर में नया दौर पुरानी वाली पिक्चर लगाई थी उन्होंने और उसी समय आज के मॉडर्न की कोई नई पिक्चर थी उस ट्रैक्टर ने कितनी कमाई की नए दौर की पिक्चर से सारे रिकॉर्ड टूट गए यह घटना वाशी नवी मुंबई की है

Beautiful movie. Baby Naaz and her brother were just outstanding. Such natural actors. So good to see David ji. What an outstanding artist he is. What difference these 60 years have made to our world and film industry. Boot polishing is not there but child beggars are. After watching this film I feel that we should always help those children who have to beg in some form or the other. Give them more than we can. So many times we become hard hearted and clinch fisted people. It shouldn't be. We do not know what trauma these children go through in their short life. May there never be any child who has to beg for living.
Old is gold. Depecting the true social status of the new and independent Indian society. My heartiest greetings to those filmmakers who are no more but the status of their film is still alive I modern Indian society today. Thanks.
