alot of the perks in the low and medium teir and are only there because he is looking at them by them selves. Most of the perks work alot better with others
Also this video was more opinionated. Some perks in high deserve to be on highest based on how her is sorting them "if they have an impact on the outcome of the match".
First off, No Mither is clearly OP. It counters Nurses Calling, NOED, Bloodhound, Slugging, and most importantly escaping the match. That's why I run No Mither every time I play survivor along with Deja Vu, Self Care, and Sole Survivor.
Well... according to his ranking system, it really should be highest tier. It has a high impact on the match. Beneficial or not, high impact is still high impact. I can't imagine any perk having a higher impact than No Mither
After rethinking and hearing community feedback, here are a few perks I'd rank differently if given the chance: *Urban* *Evasion:* _Medium_ _tier._ Helpful for evading confrontations, but offers no detection, action speed, or chase benefits. It also encourages a slow playstyle, which isn't always optimal. *Spine* *Chill:* _High_ _tier._ Loses some usefulness on maps with open areas where line of sight makes the early warning useless. *Botany* *Knowledge:* _High_ _tier._ Saves a lot of time, especially against hit and run killers like Hag, Wraith, Freddy, Legion. *Object* *of* *Obsession:* _High_ _tier._ Knowing where the killer is the whole game doesn't stop them from killing your teammates, or help them escape. Still powerful as a distraction perk. *Hope:* _Medium_ _tier._ Adrenaline Rush still blows Hope away in my opinion, but there are some cases where Hope could save you where Adrenaline Rush wouldn't. *Windows* *of* *Opportunity:* _Medium_ _tier._ I forgot this one in the video. Allows you to plan your looping route in advance, and keep away from areas where all pallets have been used up.
We'll make it saves 8 seconds from healing and since most people use self-care, It saves a total of 16 seconds from healing and artificially boosts your rank in DBD. Surprised It's not High or Highest tier, Good tier list otherwise.
Also, balanced landing and lithe. The number of maps where finding a small hill to get the perk to even work is growing more and more. At least with Lithe you can reliably find windows on map like hospital.
Urban - top tier... it has no downsides and always works from the start of the match with no conditions... most perks have something keeping them at bay. Resilence - high tier... faster vaulting speed and simply 99%’ing health... works with spine chill too. Sprint burst is top tier... if you can hold the exhaustion meter then it’s always sprint burst on a button... the only downside is triggering sprint burst when the round starts and you have to be hidden for just under 40 seconds... after that SB is yours. SB is definitely a mile high above the other exhaustion perks when fully utilised to the max... lithe is pretty much sprint burst with a notification (telling killers you vaulted) by comparison... this doesn’t allow you to lose killers and lithe can be triggered when you don’t want it to in chases now. (You do pretty much want it when the killer is just behind you. Unbreakable = high tier... it’s the only true counter (or timer waster tbh) to super good nurses (zubat complained about unbreakable more than pre-nerf DS) and the devs have made it more possible to proc since the ds nerf (slugging is the counter and you don’t know who has DS). Windows of opportunity is bottom tier hands down... it has a cooldown and limited range to plan any route. We’ll make it is top tier... it’s basically handing out instaheals. Prove thyself I’d put at high tier... gens are the win condition and they truly give survivors the power over how long games last. DS - medium tier - I think it’s too much like deliverance... the killer controllers too much of the outcome... Unbreakable always has the passive of letting you heal faster when slugged though and tends to give a major benefit plus killers need to try to 4k now.
As for balanced landing it’s overrated in most maps and overpowered on a very few (haddonfield/asylum/the game)... you don’t actually need to go to a hill in a chase... the condition makes you - this allows the killer moving at 10%-15% movement speed or more to close the distance on you making you far more likely to get downed than say using Sprint Burst to get from pallet to pallet directly... the passive BL offers on regular maps just acts as secondary option... no greater distance is gained. You’re also unable to jump off anything with BL without wasting the exhaustion costing time (sometimes) to go back down the stairs. BL is better than Lithe and DH though. It might be equal to sprint burst at best but it’s purely a matter of map. I’d rather use a perk that works well on all maps and increases my chance of survival. I also don’t learn anything from using BL on haddonfield as a survivor + do you really need BL on haddonfield in the first place? A good killer will predict you’re going to BL them if they chase you and may ignore till you’re in a weaker spot... a good killer can’t negate SB though.
@@stefstefstef6789 I agree completely with what you're saying, His opinion for how well alot of these perks work must be based on his capability to use said perk. That's not the case for most people, Also alot of these perks have multiple benefits that he leaves out. So his rankings are based simply on how well of a DBD player he is and his ability to use perks that actually take skill. Most of what he says in this video makes me believe he is a total asshat.
i remember reading the no mither perk when it first came out, the first thing i see being that 'you start the trial off injured and can't heal back to full'. I immediately became excited to read on, already thinking about what kind of insane benefits it would have. none. There were no benefits. It was just playing the game with a constant noed on you. Tier 1 no mither best perk
pfft, i played dbd when it was still new and had 3 killers and 4 survivors and chose claudette cause i’m a healer type there were multiple times i would crouch in some grass and the killer would practically walk in to me and be completely unaware of my presence. this worked less well for my friends playing Not Claudette
People be sleeping on iron will tho. I was too till I tried that shit two weeks ago. Combined with the darkest outfit you can find, you’ll be invisible.
Emi stridor counters iron will You'll get a 25% of hearing, trust me i use it on spirit and it works sooo good because stridor helps already on spirit but getting those 8 meters of iron willed survivors is gold Also yes, the survivor will know you're using stridor because they'll hear their grunts too
For resilience, it's worth noting that there's no need to risk getting downed to use it. Unless you're against a stealth killer, there's nothing stopping you from self caring to 99% before continuing repairs while injured to keep Resilience.
Dude, i run resilience and this is not happening (for dealing with hex ruin). I do the 99% thing every fucking time. Im glad, thought i was alone on that strat.
@@SenkoVT I know but thats what it would be useful for. If your not being chased you should be doing gens. If your flashlight saving then sure im sure its decent but thats not often
For me, resilience is a great perk, for the 9% vault speed, combined with spine chill, is a 15% vault speed, whit the super build: . Lithe . Quick and Quiet . Spine chill . Resilience You become a vault god Yeah, maybe be down in one hit is bad, but if you are in a chase and the killer hits you, you can vault 9% faster, wich gives you a bit more time to run to the closest pallet or window and (maybe) end the chase to heal
I really wish you would have explained the perks before you talked about them, at least briefly for those who aren't aware of what every single perk does.
Yea, for the one that he said were garbage, I didn’t like the fact that he would just ignore it and not explain it. A beginner who was watching the video could be a fast learner and could maybe already see benefits of the perk. It kinda defeats the purpose of the video.
Fiona Brew Thanks for your telling me! I just wish we could know just when someone would run it, you’d know what it was. Especially if they don’t hover over it in the video. I don’t play dead by day light because I feel I would get to scared. So I usually just watch videos on dbd and usually they say the perk but I don’t know what it means.
that 7% movement speed boost can allow you to extend endgame chases considerably, considering it boost a running speed from 100% to 107%, compared to the average killing walking speed of 115%, that is nothing to cough at
I always enjoy running Hope and Adrenaline, the kick of speed you get with those perks is nice to have in any scenario. I usually run it if I'm leveling a survivor, but I'll always be able to turn to it for a very satisfying combination.
Lots of effort, very wonky and strange perk reasoning and sorting. "I think Solidarity is getting buffed soon so I'm putting it in medium tier instead of low tier." An example of what I mean.
Now that Nancy with “Inner Strength”, I’d say that using small game would be helpful to activate it. But here’s what I think about the 6 new perks. Steve) Babysitter - Medium/High Tier It’s good for being altruistic and going for unhooks. After unhooking someone, you and the killer share auras for 4 seconds but the unhooked survivor leaves no scratch marks or blood pools for 8 seconds. So it’s pretty good. Steve) Second Wind - Medium This is also based on being altruistic. Once you’ve healed someone fully, (worth a full health state), The perk activates. Once unhooked, you receive the Broken status effect for 45 seconds. After that you become fully healed. Steve) Camaraderie - Low This is a pretty bad perk since it requires you to be hooked twice. And you don’t want that happening for obvious reasons. If a survivor is in a 16 meter range from you, during the struggle phase, the struggle timer is paused for 24 seconds. Nancy) Fixated - High/Highest This perk allows you to see your own scratch marks, making it much easier to juke Killers. Especially Nurse and spirit. It also allows you to walk 20% faster. So it can be used instead of Urban Evasion. Nancy) Better Together - Medium When repairing a generator, all survivors within a 32 meter radius can see that generator highlighted in a yellow aura. And when the killer downs a survivor when you are repairing a gen, you can see all other survivor auras for 10 seconds. This is good for your team locating where you are and what gen is being done. And also you seeing what’s happening with the other 2 survivors. Nancy) Inner Strength - High/Highest This can be great as it encourages you to cleanse totems, and after 8 seconds of hiding in a locker, you become fully healed. However it requires you to cleanse a totem. This can be good to get rid of Hexes and NOED. Having the broken status effect will deactivate the perk. So ye, that’s what I think of the new survivor perks
Imo Babysitter and Better Together are low tier. Most survivors know where the gens are and when killer is tunneling or camping Babysitter won't help so this perk is useless.
Polska Panda when did I ever say it’s for high ranked? It’s amazing with beginners who are just starting playing and locating gens. And the fact that most bronze ranks don’t 100% of the time camp tunnel. The fact that Babysitter is a 4 second mini Object of Obsession no matter the location. If you’re skilled with looping, the killer will most likely go for you as they won’t be able to locate the unhooked survivor.
@@thedemonunderyourbed3587 well you also didn't write it's for beginners...and if you are good at looping just bring Object lol, you can use it every time and give you time informations
Not gonna lie, i once encountered the better together perk and thought i was seeing the killer's perk (the pig one) then i got to the gen and saw someone workin on it, still a little weird to see first hand.
Polska Panda better together is probably the best perk when playing solo because if preventives teammates bringing the killer towards your (well most of the time) and helps you see teammates auras when someone is downed
I think Spine Chill is underrated too, but sincerely, putting Spine Chill in the same tier as Adrenaline and Borrowed Time it's beyond me. Maybe when you face a Prayer Beads Spirit, Spine Chill becomes a high tier perk, but other than that, it's not game changing. I sincerely take Empathy and even Aftercare over Bond. Bond always seems to me like a "meh" perk and on bigger maps it's not too effective. Again, I don't see Bond being game changing. Balance Landing is too situational for my liking. Even if on maps like Haddonfield or Ormond or The Game it's almost a broken perk, on maps like Shelter Woods or Autohaven Wreckers ( sometimes on these maps a hill don't spawn ) or Lery's or Family Residence, you need to be lucky to activate BL once, when you could've used others exhaustion perks multiple times. I take Lithe and Sprint Burst over Balance Landing. Decisive Strike is medium tier, just because Enduring exist. Lightweight is medium tier. Killers don't rely so much on scratch marks, because they tend to be sometimes buggy. Good killers will track you by sounds or blood. Even Spirit can track you without scratch marks, she can use instead groans of pains, footsteps sounds, grass movements, crows or just pure prediction. Maybe Hope and Small Game needs a higher spot ? In rest, I agree with your tier list.
I almost agree, but sprint burst should not be put above balanced landing if you ask me. It's importand for survivors to be able to sprint when traversing the map as to not waste time. I will admit that if you use sprint burst effectively (start running right before you recover) you do get a better benefit than balanced landing, but I've had way too many losses because someone with sprint burst didn't want to run and use their perk. Lithe and Balanced landing are pretty equal to me. The problem with Lithe is that you are also forced to use it on the first vault you get. You have more control over it than sprint burst, but it's often better if you can keep it for later in the chase. Balanced Landing doesn't activate unless you want it to (not saying that it activates when you want it to), but like you said, on certain maps it's rare that you get use out of it. The one thing that does redeem balanced landing in my eyes is that it also removes the falling stun, if it wasn't for that I'd say Lithe is indeed better than Balanced Landing, but to me they are equal. The most important thing to remember is that you should never run sprint burst. I'd rather see you use No Mither, at least you'll be more usefull to the team
@@bobthebox2993 dude sprint burst is so good way better than lithe I saw a feng min slaow vaulting so she couldnt use lithe amd ended up getting grabbed by the killer not worth it I also think that walking is still good becauss most of the time if youre running across the map you use scratch marks now combined sprintburst with that perk that leaves mo scratch marks after completing gens trust me its worth your while
IM TRASH AT CHECKS TOO I FEEL YOUR PAIN. i rarely complete gens all by myself but when i fail i make misleading scratch marks and hide behind garbage :¶ and im just really that one that hides in a locker untill the exit is open 😂
I know right? No Mither should be highest tier. Without joking tough, he said that highest impact perks would be placed at the top, I'm pretty sure that No Mither has the highest impact, not a preferable one, but a high impact nevertheless
@@bobthebox2993 nahh because the killer knows you have no mither because of the broken effect icon. So 99% of the time they wont slug you because they no you can get back up. Also being injured basically makes the killer tunnel you the whole game. I agree with him not worth the risk
@@derpyderp1144 did you just skip 90% of my comment. Of course it isn't worth the risk. It just has a high impact on the game. A negative impact, but still a high impact
@@bobthebox2993 i mean im pretty sure he meant a positive impact its kinda common sense Also were you joking or being sarcastic because ofcourse he doesnt mean negative impact
@@derpyderp1144 I was joking and serious. I realise that he means positive impact, but according to the tier list description, No Mither should be at the top
@@nicolasbdhaj2896 sprint burst is still more versatile than most perks. useful in juking a killer in no pallet situations especially so you can reach 1 or a window spot... or just getting out of truly surprising encounters (leatherface, nurse, spirit, etc..), sb can be essential to success in flashlight save builds, you will not literally have to walk around the map the whole game, you don't have to instantly make sure you have it available again in minimum time.. most people walk around a lot anyway to avoid leaving tracks, but i still run around plenty. you will inevitably spend a bit less than half your matches standing still on average. spring burst is as much of an ace in your back pocket as spine chill for example... all a matter of perspective.
I'd give Hope the Dark Sense treatment. Maybe you get a 3% speed boost for a much smaller time after a generator is completed as well as the end game effect. This perk is very underrated though nonetheless.
Plunderer's instinct is not a low tier perk. You can get purple flashlights/keys/toolboxes/medkits etc. with it. I couldn't even count how many times I've gotten great utility out of this perk. Sure you can bring items into the game, but if you don't then this perk is great. Hope and Diversion should also be ranked higher. Hope is really clutch for end game and Diversion is much better than what people give it credit for. Urban evasion should not be high tier. At best it's medium tier. People who use this perk waste so much time sneaking around instead of being effective. Same goes for Spine Chill which should be in medium tier. Alert, Vigil, Premonition and Solidarity are low tier. Dead Hard is highest tier.
I agree with everything you said. I can't imagine how you can consider "dead hard", which can save your life multiple times, as a "high rank" and not "highest" and still place spine chill, which is very situational and possibly makes you waste time by being stealthy for no reason.
I think you're seriously underestimating the power of small game. It may not be top tier, but nullifying both the Trappers and Hags surreptitious abilities is hugely advantageous. Not to mention identifying noeds and Hex ruin easier. That's just personal preference though.
Game, Complain, Repeat agreed. Small game saves my ass from trapper all the time and I’m the type to hunt dull totems bc I encounter NOED almost every match. It’s so satisfying when a killer has NOED and it doesn’t proc
its useful against trapper and hag but still not that useful against any other killer, youre probably better off running a map if you want to keep track of totems
Running a perk because it completely destroys 2 of the 14 killers in the games isn’t very smart in my eyes your better off running something that will help in every game no matter what map or killer, and if you want to find totems just get more experience with the game you’ll find they are always near a gen and that they seem to spawn in pretty obvious spots or ya know use a map :) Edit: all in all small game = garbage
I agree, in a SWF match it is tremendous. One has heal build, one stealth, one altruistic, one gen-centric. The thing is, when you play there is less than a 10% chance you will encounter hag or trapper. This video is for solo impact. There are other ruin counters that do not require perks and no-ed, well if you cleanse totems you should never encounter it. For solo matches you have no idea what the other 3 are running. It isn't a perk that can tremendously aid your survival. So for swf it's high tier, solo tier medium. Kinda like adrenaline, you always know when you shoulda brought it.
Novum Domine you sound like an immersed squad... that would bore the shit out of me, “a stealth build” wtf that’s the boring part of the game the fun part is being chased a pulling 360’s off and looping the killer to the point they give up on you :)... try that you might have some fun
Pain releiver : this is a luck based perk so it's going on low impact Me : *LUCK BASED PERK BUILD ECKS DEE DEE DEE DEE DEE* Pain releiver : Am I a joke to you?
To me after care should be the highest ranking. It is bond and empathy put together, and you see them as they see you. Which helps with scaping hatch. Yes, it looses when you get hooked but it refills automatically when you are saved. So it should be S tier and empathy and bond the high rank.
i agree. I believe there aren’t many flaws to it, especially as it is already a 2 in 1, saving you slot for another perk. I love after care it’s a great perk
"Dance with me would go into high with lithe, q&q, etc. but i'm putting it in medium JUST BY ITSELF" "Head on would be in low but while PAIRED WITH Q&Q AND DWM, its medium." nice.
-Autodidact: high tier because it's stupidly powerful once you do gain the tokens, and it only takes 1 heal to get past the real downsides -Botany: You're going to have to heal. there is no perk that stops you from being injured, and faster recovery can stop killers from getting too many people injured -Dance with me is low tier unless you combo it with other perks -Deadhard is one of the weakest exhaustion perks, it rarely works and when it does alone it only buys you 3 seconds while the killer recovers -after it's nerf, D-strike is near entirely worthless. needs to have a longer stun time -Diversion is useful if you know how to use it. use it to fake a missed healing skill check when the killer is searching, not in a chase -balanced landing is only useful per map. some maps you cant even use it and only a few fast loops activated by using it. Not stronger than Sprintburst, but better than deadhard spine chill does not belong on high tier. The game is Crypt of the Necrodancer
Perks that are worse than Lightweight (according to PainReliever): Unbreakable, Pharmacy, Distortion, We'll Make It, Leader, Prove Thyself, Kindred, Head On
Dude, technician isn't garbage. Quieter generators and 50% chance the generator won't explode if you mess up a skillcheck. There have been times where I'll miss a skill check if too many notifications are popping up on my screen and block out the skill check sound or I glance away for a split second. There are other times where I'll let go of a genny RIGHT as a skill check starts up and it automatically fails me. Or I'll be taking on a sneaky killer and a teammate spooks THE F out of me right as I get a skill check. It's SUPER useful.
Unbreakable- I get slugged at high rank more than I can conceive. Especially by Nurse players and now Plague players with her new perk revealing locations after downing a player. Unbreakable is much better and unexpectedly a life saver when you have more than 1 person in dying state, has saved me more than I can count. I live by that and Barrowed Time.
So situational what if killer dont slug? Or what if slugs all but except you?. Is indeed situational and useless in SWF. Imo. I mean it can happen yesterday i was the killer and i slugged one of a Swf and yes i hated that because i thought i had them all but is so situational its not the every game
I was surprised about hope being low tier. You can easily loop 110 killers forever with it and it counters the noed speed boost and since everyone is using noed it's so nice to have. Also self care in my opinion is pretty terrible since they nerfed healing. I never use it and it feels so much better. You're wasting so much time healing instead of doing something useful. Can't say how many times my team mates self cared while there was only one gen left or while someone was on the hook.
The fact that it's really only good against 110 movespeed killers is what makes it not very effective. 110 includes Hag, Huntress and Spirit. Legion is being changed soon and Nurse doesn't rely on movespeed. After Legion changes, only 3 out of the 15 killers will actually not be able to chase as well but the thing is, 2 of them don't even chase. Hag committing to a chase is shooting yourself in the foot, she needs to make use of her traps. Committing to a chase is rarely worth the time. Spirit relies on mind games to get hits which, again, isn't chasing, making hope not so useful. It can be useful against Huntress but she has a ranged attack... 7% movespeed isn't going to open dodging windows for you. While 7% does close the gap on 115 killers, noed essentially puts that as a 2% buff and that is commonly run, and even without it, the 8% speed lead they have on you leaves Hope in a bad place.
When there is only one gen left just don't heal yourself. You need selfcare several times per match (normally) If you always have to get healed by other survs you waste even more time because they have to heal you. So literall 2 people don't do gens
If a perk is good or not depends completely on your playstyle, if you are like me (likes to take aggro a lot) this tierlist would not include Spine chill near the top half. I feel this list was made out of a more ”hiding sneaky type of way playstyle. Great video tho i agreed with most of the lower half. Liked
Forgot to mention aftercare makes your teammate see you too which helps them get to exit gates, work on gens together, prevents them from running a killer into you while on a generator, and they can easily find you if u need healing.
I wouldn't agree with all perks but nice :D Also, Left Behind should be a different category. It's even more garbage than Sole Survivor. I don't get why it's even in the game xd About No Mither, I think the devs said it's a challenge perk so I wouldn't put it in any tier list. It should give you bonus BP if you manage to escape tho.
there was a time on PTB when Left Behind was okayish (when killers could close hatch, you had to still repair gens when you were on your own) it might become useful soon tho. they said they want to rework end game
About No Mither, Before Legion came out and BT got reworked, there was a fun suggestion to make No Mither have constant BT effect this way you would get benefits of being injured, still had to take 2 hits, yet the first hit was still deadly (you'd eventually bleed out) It'd be even more fun cuz if you managed to escape the killer, you would get to use the "get up on your own" part easily also Endurance fits to being always injured
@@oicmorez4129 this would be a noce rework, only problem i see is killers moonwalking toward you so ur timer bleeds out as they track you (like weeb legions do) and it being OP as far as unhooks and end game goes, constant borrowed time on someone would be OP if used properly as you never have to heal to take the standard amount of hits and also get rewarded for playing badly
Just an FYI: - Vigil DOES NOT decrease exhaustion times by 8 seconds (20%). It increases your recovery rate by 20% so you actually only save +~6 seconds. - Vigil stacks multiplicative NOT additive, so 4 Vigils will only improve your recovery by 8 seconds (32 seconds of exhaustion). It's just terrible...
18:22 it helped me a lot to learn totems locations and along with the 3 generators revealing aura perk it creates one of the most optimal ways to learn where things are imo.
i personally think resilience should be higher up since new toolbox changes resilience is an infinite toolbox basically and if you use self care you can just 99 yourself so if the killer comes over to you you can just quickly heal. also if you pair it with spine chill then you have the faster vaulting.
No Mither has a very large impact on the outcome of the match! You should've rated it Highest! It keeps you injured and broken for the entire match! Thats the biggest impact of a perk ever! THE ENTIRE MATCH! ugh, this is why you cant trust youtubers these days, always making videos while changing the rules, come on..
For 'head on' for example, you put it in medium tier because "if it's combined" otherwise it's low tier (so you put it at the 'best rank possible' ) BUT for 'Dance with me', you said it's high tier "if it's combined" otherwise it's medium AND you put it in medium tier (so at the 'worst rank possible') Wasn't very logic :x (i would have put head on low tier, by far the worst exhaustion perk) But thats just a minor thing, overall I agree with everything :D (Thats my second video I watch from you and even if im 'experienced' enough, it's always cool to see good content and people who wants to teach others, clearly deserve more views ! :P )
Well, I think the perks shouldn't have been tiered solely on what they do as a separate perk, but on how many builds they are part of, and how powerful these builds are. Dance with me is an amazing perk, saved my life multiple times.
personally, i think that diversion actually has a lot of uses, and rewards more risky and sneaky plays. its saved my life during endgame so many times as well, when im last one left
Thanks for this. I've wondered about some of those seldom used perks that sit in your low tier. Sure, Diversion doesn't work in a visual contact chase but it's quite effective when the killer is trying to find who was working on that gen (like right at the beginning), or when the killer is camping a hook, or trying to determine which exit door is being used. It charges fast and always seems available when it is useful. If a killer is determined enough to find you, the pebble is charged and very likely to work.
Unbreakable ds dead hard and sprint burst and inner strength should all be highest tier along with resilience in high tier, self care should be in medium bc it’s pointless to use and inner strength is so much better
With the perk "Resilience" you can either heal yourself at 99% and full heal before the killer gets to you so you can still have a juicy 9% speed boost, but it still remains a trash perk. By the way, great video, very useful!!!😊😊
So wait? Boil over is a bad perk because "you could run a perk that prevents you from going down in the first place" but decisive strike is a perk used from when you're being carried by the killer. This list is all over the place, and emotions were a huge bias in ranking these
@@jakewizard4432 no I get it, but his logic is he'd rather use a perk that prevents you from being downed in the first place, while decisive strike is a perk that only affects you after you're being carried by the killer. Where's the logic here?
@@keeperofthefire1250 getting downed is inevitable in most matches, decisive gives you a second chance if you get tunneled, boil over does absolutely nothing, and it even tells the killer when they pick you up that you have boil over rendering it practically useless if the killer has 5 brain cells and a couple of hours clocked into the game, i guess it might be good at rank 20 very rarely but other than that its useless
You are thinking of it incorrectly. If you go down and then land a descisive strike, its roughly the same as not having gone down in the first place. Boil over is a bad perk because it doesn't useually end up actually stopping you from being hooked. Its times like this that you need to stop and think about what you want perks to really do. You don't need them to stop you from going down, more technically you need perks that stop you from being hooked. The difference is that borrowed time stops you from being hooked and boil over does not.
I honestly find kindred to be really useful, especially solo. If you’re not hooked first, and you’re not near the killer, it can reveal who it is, and when anybody is hooked, everyone can then see each other and the killer if he’s standing close enough, especially the hook campers. I love rescuing people from the hook, so it’s honestly a really good altruism perk imo.
Calm spirited should be highest tier 😂 no screaming from madness nor missing the snapping out of it. No screaming after hitting hit or the clowns toxic drink and the new killer perk that causes other near survivors to scream, well you won’t do you’ll be pretty safe and able to rescues easily. And not scaring the crows is useful since most killers listen nowadays and combined with iron will you’ll just quiet asf and usually won’t be found much after being hit and add resilience for a speed buff while being quiet along with spine chill to stay safe and away from the killer 🤷🏽♀️ can’t agree with me those perks together are op and just then alone are really good
I believe that wake up is a good perk, it helps you open gates way faster, so if you're the last one left, or if a team mate being chased is coming your way, etc. You can escape faster. It helps with end game, being the last one left. It also helps chances of survival
Tenacity can actually be extremely useful, especially combined with Unbreakable and/or Flip-Flop. Most killers won't expect you using that perk and leave you on the ground for a few seconds giving you plenty of time to crawl away which can sometimes confuse the killer enough to lose you. And even if he does find you you can regenerate quite a bit of health in that time (especially with unbreakable) which can get you more Flip-Flop progress. I agree that it's somewhat useless alone and should be buffed a bit, but with the right build it will save your butt more often than you might think. Besides, if you're using DS and the killer tunnels you off of a hook near an exit gate and you also have tenacity, you are basically invincible unless they have a mori.
Mr. Opinionated I know I’m late but small game is such a fun perk when I’m playing stealth, I love the idea of clearing out all totems without the killer even knowing I’m here
Distortion also alert you and any other person you are on comms with what perks the Killer is using. It has literally saved minutes for us when at the first hook, no barbecue was triggered, which meant that we didn't have to hide in lockers.
@@rickitysticks9920 does that mean adrenaline is bad because your teammates can just not do gens when you loop the killer? Not many people even loot chests anyway
Me too.Alert is so good.I always run it.Its only useless if you’re going against nurse, and even then she still could be breaking gens. One of the best perks in the game.
But it can save you so many times but still needs buff like When the exit Gates gates are powered you and all survivors have 20% faster speed opening exit gates and every survivor sees everones auras on 128 meter range
@@pepejaar702 After 1 game of dbd you will start to learn where the exit gates spawn, you also get to see where they are when the gens are done. Unless you are brand new to the game or really struggle with the exit gates there is no way ever that this will have any usage.
Spine Chill in high tier? OmegaLUL The only reason you should use that perk is pairing it with Resilience so that you can get super fast vaults. Also Premonition is medium tier? That perk is literal garbage along with SpineChill
Spine chill is literally not a bad perk. We all have our different playstyles and what works for us. Your opinion is your opinion and it doesnt mean its right at all.
@@kingofthesands You can have a stealth build without using either of those worthless perks, literally both are a waste of a slot unless you're new. I used to run Prem way back in the day before I got a handle on the game and learned how to actually find the killer without the use of a perk that fails to help you survive. Even then looking back at both they are bad training tools because they condition new survivors to rely on those perks to find killer positioning when they should rely on slight and sound. Literally any other perk would be better than Prem, SpineChill is Ok when paired with certain other perks, but that's only taking into account the 6% action boost it provides. Take off SpineChill/Prem and run a better stealth perk that will actually help you more with that gameplay style; it'll help you not only have better stealth but it'll also help from getting into bad gameplay practices.
Luigifan64 Sometimes its fun to use bad perks to actually have variety in the hame instead of using the same Urban Evasion, Iron Will, Dance With me, Quick and Quiet, Selfcare, All sprint perks, etc. I have 3,000 hours on the game and i still use prem because its a good perk to use to stealth whether you agree or not its great to get the sound and EXIT the area before the terror radius even begins. Dont act as if its not useful against a Myers or a Pig either and it could help you with mind games. Just bc it doesnt suit your playstyle doesnt mean you can trash it hun.
@@yuikoo0613 Yet again, I do stealth builds but I don't need a training wheel perk because it doesn't help at all. I can hear both a Myers and a Pig coming when their TR is small and in most cases I can see them; plus tier 1 Michael isn't affected by Prem in the first place so it's even more worthless to use because it's not effective at countering it. Using literal bottom tier perks is not fun, they provide no advantage to stealth builds unless if you are new, you can use better perks like Lightweight or Diversion that actually have some use. I can and will say they're terrible because they are, SpineChill has limited uses but at least it can be part of super vault or super heal builds, Prem doesn't have any viability; again unless you're new. It is on the same level as Small Game, it is only there to help new people figure out how the game works and where things are; but at least small game can see killer traps if you're facing Hag or Trapper. Not to mention that Whispers (a very commonly used killer perk) completely counters Prem because they can just follow your location around. Claiming that I can't criticize it because it doesn't "suite my playstyle" is a very big assumption on your part; as I've stated previously, I do stealth builds its just that I don't use these perks because they are terrible and badly condition players to never take any risks. If you actually have 3000 hours I'd be very surprised because no one with those kinds of hours still uses Prem or SpinChill unless its on a random perk wheel or on an ironic build.
Resilience is an extremely underrated perk, when paired with spinechill or iron will, or even both, it becomes incredibly strong when looping, as you can vault to a maximum of *15%* vaulting speed, which doesn’t sound like much, but saves your life more than once. And sure being injured for it to work doesn’t sound great, but if you’re looping, you indefinitely going to get hit eventually, so it is extremely helpful, and to rebuttal against how you said that it’s useless against one hit killers, you can still attempt to get them to m1, resilience is meant for jungle gyms, shack, and main buildings, bc of their windows, depending on the building/jungle gym, 1 shot killers like billy are easy to counter, and especially easy to force m1’s.
Technician is actually a pretty useful perk if the survivor is just starting out, I highly recommend it to any beginners who are working on getting skill checks correctly. I also was in a play with Freddy, and I failed the Gen to be woken up and it made no sound, and woke up myself and the other survivor with me. It's very handy well facing Freddy, but keep in mind the higher the rank it is, the higher the percent is.
Did you just put, Alert above Aftercare? Spine is medium, you just gotta look around, Urban Evasion is easily Higest tier... Quick and Quiet has a low recharge I reckon high. PEBBLE IS HIGHEST, it's the ultimate BM. Borrowed TIme isn't THAT good though so High Other than those mostly agreeing with the rest
@@eggy_triceratops4583 and? Almost always if the killer wins it's before the 5 gens are completed, and also you're going to use 3 perks almost until the end
I've always found it very easy to fulfill the requirements for Aftercare, since I run an altruistic build. Keeping my teammates alive and knowing what's happening at all times correlates very high with escape, but obviously in that situation we're getting into builds vs. individual perks. The fact that the efficacy of a perk can depend so much on your other perks and playstyle is what makes tier lists like this so hard to do in the first place. Standalone, something like Aftercare seems less useful, but in the right build it can be game breaking. Hard to calculate the variables of builds into a tier list.

@@derpyderp1144 Yes, I am retarded.
Looks like people don't know what sarcasm is
After rethinking and hearing community feedback, here are a few perks I'd rank differently if given the chance:
*Urban* *Evasion:* _Medium_ _tier._ Helpful for evading confrontations, but offers no detection, action speed, or chase benefits.
Now that Nancy with “Inner Strength”, I’d say that using small game would be helpful to activate it.
But here’s what I think about the 6 new perks.
Steve) Babysitter - Medium/High Tier
It’s good for being altruistic and going for unhooks. After unhooking someone, you and the killer share auras for 4 seconds but the unhooked survivor leaves no scratch marks or blood pools for 8 seconds. So it’s pretty good.
Steve) Second Wind - Medium
This is also based on being altruistic. Once you’ve healed someone fully, (worth a full health state), The perk activates. Once unhooked, you receive the Broken status effect for 45 seconds. After that you become fully healed.
Steve) Camaraderie - Low
This is a pretty bad perk since it requires you to be hooked twice. And you don’t want that happening for obvious reasons. If a survivor is in a 16 meter range from you, during the struggle phase, the struggle timer is paused for 24 seconds.
Nancy) Fixated - High/Highest
This perk allows you to see your own scratch marks, making it much easier to juke Killers. Especially Nurse and spirit. It also allows you to walk 20% faster. So it can be used instead of Urban Evasion.
Nancy) Better Together - Medium
When repairing a generator, all survivors within a 32 meter radius can see that generator highlighted in a yellow aura. And when the killer downs a survivor when you are repairing a gen, you can see all other survivor auras for 10 seconds. This is good for your team locating where you are and what gen is being done. And also you seeing what’s happening with the other 2 survivors.
Nancy) Inner Strength - High/Highest
This can be great as it encourages you to cleanse totems, and after 8 seconds of hiding in a locker, you become fully healed.
I dont agree with object of obsession it just gets you caught more then hidden should have been high to mid not highest
@@saitama9138 That's why he says you need to up your playstyle to use ths perk.
@@bobthebox2993 dude sprint burst is so good way better than lithe

Running a perk because it completely destroys 2 of the 14 killers in the games isn’t very smart in my eyes your better off running something that will help in every game no matter what map or killer, and if you want to find totems just get more experience with the game you’ll find they are always near a gen and that they seem to spawn in pretty obvious spots or ya know use a map :)
Edit: all in all small game = garbage

To me after care should be the highest ranking. It is bond and empathy put together, and you see them as they see you. Which helps with scaping hatch. Yes, it looses when you get hooked but it refills automatically when you are saved. So it should be S tier and empathy and bond the high rank.

Nice u exposed him
-Autodidact: high tier because it's stupidly powerful once you do gain the tokens, and it only takes 1 heal to get past the real downsides
-Botany: You're going to have to heal. there is no perk that stops you from being injured, and faster recovery can stop killers from getting too many people injured
-Dance with me is low tier unless you combo it with other perks
-Deadhard is one of the weakest exhaustion perks, it rarely works and when it does alone it only buys you 3 seconds while the killer recovers
-after it's nerf, D-strike is near entirely worthless. needs to have a longer stun time
-Diversion is useful if you know how to use it. use it to fake a missed healing skill check when the killer is searching, not in a chase
-balanced landing is only useful per map. some maps you cant even use it and only a few fast loops activated by using it. Not stronger than Sprintburst, but better than deadhard
spine chill does not belong on high tier.
The game is Crypt of the Necrodancer
Perks that are worse than Lightweight (according to PainReliever): Unbreakable, Pharmacy, Distortion, We'll Make It, Leader, Prove Thyself, Kindred, Head On
It’s obvious he’s putting perks he thinks are good. But leightweight really wont do you many favors tbh
It also counters overcharge (luck based)
He focused on the 50% chance of missed skill check thing
Not the 8 meter effect

You need selfcare several times per match (normally)
If you always have to get healed by other survs you waste even more time because they have to heal you. So literall 2 people don't do gens
There is no point if it’s only used at the end of the game when you might not encounter the killer again at all
16:18 i would have expected "WAKE ME UP INSIDE"
Hahahah I was also thinking that

I wouldn't agree with all perks but nice :D
Also, Left Behind should be a different category. It's even more garbage than Sole Survivor. I don't get why it's even in the game xd
About No Mither, I think the devs said it's a challenge perk so I wouldn't put it in any tier list. It should give you bonus BP if you manage to escape tho.
there was a time on PTB when Left Behind was okayish (when killers could close hatch, you had to still repair gens when you were on your own)
it might become useful soon tho. they said they want to rework end game
About No Mither, Before Legion came out and BT got reworked, there was a fun suggestion to make No Mither have constant BT effect
this way you would get benefits of being injured, still had to take 2 hits, yet the first hit was still deadly (you'd eventually bleed out)
It'd be even more fun cuz if you managed to escape the killer, you would get to use the "get up on your own" part easily
also Endurance fits to being always injured
@@oicmorez4129 It wouldn't be too fun. It's a challange perk, so it needs to be hard. But if it's a challenge it would be nice if it was rewarded.

Just an FYI:
- Vigil DOES NOT decrease exhaustion times by 8 seconds (20%).
For 'head on' for example, you put it in medium tier because "if it's combined" otherwise it's low tier (so you put it at the 'best rank possible' )
BUT for 'Dance with me', you said it's high tier "if it's combined" otherwise it's medium AND you put it in medium tier (so at the 'worst rank possible')
Wasn't very logic :x (i would have put head on low tier, by far the worst exhaustion perk)
But thats just a minor thing, overall I agree with everything :D
(Thats my second video I watch from you and even if im 'experienced' enough, it's always cool to see good content and people who wants to teach others, clearly deserve more views ! :P )
Well, I think the perks shouldn't have been tiered solely on what they do as a separate perk, but on how many builds they are part of, and how powerful these builds are. Dance with me is an amazing perk, saved my life multiple times.
Head on best perk for toxic Saves
personally, i think that diversion actually has a lot of uses, and rewards more risky and sneaky plays. its saved my life during endgame so many times as well, when im last one left

Ace visconti killed himself immediately after this video was published
Thanks for this. I've wondered about some of those seldom used perks that sit in your low tier.
Sure, Diversion doesn't work in a visual contact chase but it's quite effective when the killer is trying to find who was working on that gen (like right at the beginning), or when the killer is camping a hook, or trying to determine which exit door is being used. It charges fast and always seems available when it is useful. If a killer is determined enough to find you, the pebble is charged and very likely to work.

Toxic _101 it’s a goddam highest tier perk. If you’re good you will get to use it once or twice
Unbreakable ds dead hard and sprint burst and inner strength should all be highest tier along with resilience in high tier, self care should be in medium bc it’s pointless to use and inner strength is so much better
I understood every reference/plug you put in here, where has this channel been all my life
Detective's Hunch plus Rainbow Map plus Crystal Bead means the Killer has no Hex Totems.
EVAR.
With the perk "Resilience" you can either heal yourself at 99% and full heal before the killer gets to you so you can still have a juicy 9% speed boost, but it still remains a trash perk.

Yeah but killer can come out of nowhere with a surprise like myers spirit or nurse
So wait? Boil over is a bad perk because "you could run a perk that prevents you from going down in the first place" but decisive strike is a perk used from when you're being carried by the killer. This list is all over the place, and emotions were a huge bias in ranking these
yeah, but decisive gives you a second chance, while boil over just slightly annoys the killer
Nigel Matchie fair point
I actually fall asleep while watching this and woke up right at the perk wake up lol
pain reliever has a very relaxing voice i can understand why youd fall asleep watching his vids
I htink seeing Spine chill's position is all we need to completely disregard this list
He changed it to High tier, not Highest
Calm spirited should be highest tier 😂 no screaming from madness nor missing the snapping out of it. No screaming after hitting hit or the clowns toxic drink and the new killer perk that causes other near survivors to scream, well you won’t do you’ll be pretty safe and able to rescues easily. And not scaring the crows is useful since most killers listen nowadays and combined with iron will you’ll just quiet asf and usually won’t be found much after being hit and add resilience for a speed buff while being quiet along with spine chill to stay safe and away from the killer 🤷🏽♀️ can’t agree with me those perks together are op and just then alone are really good
Very good video, especially suitable for beginners survivors

Spine Chill in high tier? OmegaLUL
The only reason you should use that perk is pairing it with Resilience so that you can get super fast vaults. Also Premonition is medium tier? That perk is literal garbage along with SpineChill
prem is amazing with stealth killers especially pig

His voice is pretty soothing in a way, so I guess it can lowkey put me to sleep
I've always found it very easy to fulfill the requirements for Aftercare, since I run an altruistic build. Keeping my teammates alive and knowing what's happening at all times correlates very high with escape, but obviously in that situation we're getting into builds vs. individual perks. The fact that the efficacy of a perk can depend so much on your other perks and playstyle is what makes tier lists like this so hard to do in the first place. Standalone, something like Aftercare seems less useful, but in the right build it can be game breaking. Hard to calculate the variables of builds into a tier list.
