President seems to be in high gear with all the new transievers they are comming up with, and they seem to be getting smaller too!. Iam not a big fan of the one button, twenty function feature stuff thats available but that rig you can set everything up and not worrry about knocking out of your past chosen settings. Any transiever with sideband is excellent to have in a vehicle, my opinion. Great review Chief, I am looking forward to the SWR test video, that should be good!😏👍⚡️🎙
I can't divulge that info, sorry as that is my deal with President. That info will be out soon on other channels. However I can say that when you jack up the RF power on these rigs you will lose modulation, so I recommend if you want a bigger signal us a little 2 pill amp, keep the power on your radio around 3 w and drive the amp with that, you will have loud audio with a lot of swing. One last thing.... get the DIGIMIKE is works best with this radio. Cheers.
NOTE...... I own all the President AM/FM/FCC models to date. The digimike makes little to no difference on the AM/FM rigs, the digimike makes a world of difference on the McKINLEY. Same gain or loudness but much cleaner audio, sharp and clean VS muddy and bassy using the stock mic. Have you noticed this as well?

Great radio got the European version audio is amazing turned deviation up a bit on fm love the rig

I wish President would do another production run for the McKinley II! I waited too long to prefer one, and didn’t know it was limited one time run.

That noise may be coming from bad condition on your power lines , you can get a meter to check, fairly easy process you check from the ground

The only thing that I'm concerned about is how hot it gets.
This has not been a problem and if you look back at how long the first gen McKINLEY has been out there they have a good track record.
