My favorite bazz be moment would actually be him meeting jugo were he is bragging and says he will take him under his wing I thought that was a funny/oddly sad first meeting given there future but if I had to say favorite moment with his fight scenes I would say his fight with jugo

I honestly think Bazz-B is pretty underrated, especially when looking at your pole results. I personally can't wait for his backstory to get animated and maybe even more fleshed out in the process
I can't wait for this channel to absolutely explode when the anime comes out. You've spend so many years essentially creating a TYBW arc encyclopedia, and just in general keeping Bleach alive on TH-cam, all before we had a confirmation that the anime will ever return, and it's gonna pay off in spades retroactively

Well Grimmjows aspect of death is DESTRUCTiON. So of course that's what he likes and prefers to talk about. He's suppose to be bloodthirsty, battle hungry, and destructive. DUH!
Bazz-B was so rebellious he just ignored the main characters and went off to do his own thing. I hope we get to see more of Rukia & Renji vs Bazz-B in the anime, those two have surprisingly little interaction in the series I think
I actually always liked bazz. I hope we get to see him in action more in the anime. Maybe him and Shinji fighting. That would be perfect. It'll give Shinji some time to shine(which he desperately needs), and give Bazz more time to shine. Shinji needs a lot of work in this arc. Really hate seeing him get used to show how strong the enemy is.
Regarding Bazz-B and Jugram's relationship, I believe they are meant to not only fill the roles of the fiery rebel and stoic loyalist, but that that are meant to be a direct foil to the Renji and Rukia/Byakuya relationship. Rukia and Renji start of as two childhood friends, who then decided to join a major military organization after the deaths of everyone else in their lives. Then, once they join said organization, one of them is taken in by what is essentially royalty, because they have a connection to said family, causing a rift between the two for years. That story is very clearly mirrored by Bazz and Jugram's backstory, but everything with them takes on a more tragic tone. Where Rukia and Renji have more friends and become friends on a more equal footing, Bazz and Jugo immediately have both the element of class difference hanging over them, and the fact that Jugo is being abused by his uncle. Then, when Yhwach kills Bazz and Jugram's family's, you can see that only Bazz really wants revenge, while Jugo is only going along with it because it is what his friend wants. Then, when Yhwach chooses Jugo over Bazz, unlike Renji who tried to be happy and supportive of his friend, Bazz is resentful that someone he saw as inferior to him was chosen. After that, in the years that follow, Bazz is constantly trying to challenge Jugram, who refuses and seems to try and avoid Bazz as much as possible. But, we also see that he is watching over Bazz and is protecting him from the likes of Hubert. Which is a parallel of how Byakuya had taken in Rukia and given her the status of a noble, but he is also ashamed by how he had once again broken the laws he is trying to uphold. Jugram is ashamed of how he abandoned Bazz and joined the man that killed his family, while Bazz wants to show how he, as a noble-born Quincy, is superior to someone like Jugram. Again, flipping the usual dynamic of the calm and stoic antagonist comes from a higher place/status and the hot-headed rebel being the one who wants to obtain that status: Renji wanting to surpass Byakuya, Grimmjow wanting to become King and having a rivalry with Ulquiorra, the Espada that Aizen favors the most. And this is why I think neither Bazz or Jugram has any real relationships with Ichigo. In all of the previous cases of this antagonist duo being used, them having a dynamic with Ichigo ends up changing their lives for the better. Renji ends up mending his relationship with both Rukia and Byakuya, which he flat-out tells Ichigo is because of him in the final chapters of the TYBW. While Bazz and Jugram, don't have that figure in their lives that ends up helping them mend their bond, and thus their story ends in tragedy for both of them. Two best friends who ends up as enemies, with Jugram finally killing Bazz out of loyalty to Yhwach, only for him to have everything he has left taken by Yhwach, leaving him with his guilt over his choices as he dies. So, their story ends up being a subversion of one of the core themes of Bleach, the importance of bonds between people, and how those bonds being twisted, will lead to tragedy. I really like how Kubo did that, using a inverse of one of the most significant and important character arcs of the main cast, to develop and showcase the importance of one Bleach's core themes, with two of the most significant villains of the final arc of the story.

Well the whole „no interaction with Ichigo dilemma” could have been solve quite easily, by making Grimmjow or Renji the rival or Bazz-B. Because they fallow the same pattern they could have given Bazz-B a proper critique, dialogue exchange or contrast during their fights and showcase even further the development of those characters.

I think part of the problem with Bazz B is that his relationship with Hashwalth got kind of pushed to the side in favor of Hashwalth's rivalry with Uryu. And since Kubo didn't work him into the Uryu/Hash rivalry somehow nor give him another ally/enemy to play off of he lost direction as a character and just kind of "bounced around" as you said while Kubo tried to figure out what to do with him. Hopefully the anime rectifies this b/c the guy definitely has potential especially if his fight with Renji is fleshed out. The two had such great chemistry despite so little screen time together.
I agree. I always thought it would have been super interesting if Kubo somehow got Bazz B liltoto and Giselle to team up with Uryu in the sternritter rebellion arc against ywach🤔 but hopefully he gets a more fleshed our relationship with renji in the anime
Totally agree. I feel bad for Uryu coming out of this arc. His Quincy heritage is a huge part of his character but they turn out as monstrous and amoral as the Shinigami perception make them to be. Redemption for Bazz would have been great for Uryu's development doing away with Ywach's regime ushering a modern Era for the Quincy. They would great foils for each other too and on theme with many of Kubo's pairings a la 6th division's Renji and Byakuya.

I always thought a good Vollstandig for Bazz would have been two huge hands for wings so when he uses his burning finger techniques the hand wings would copy him on a large scale.
Hey mrtommo became a fan recently ,been binging A LOT of your videos to get a better idea on a lot of the characters. Truth be told I never got to read or watch all of bleach so these videos have helped a lot. Continue the great work my dude, your videos are awesome!
He’ll probably get more development in the anime then the manga. It always seemed like kubo wanted to flesh him out more but probably didn’t get the chance because he was rushed

I think if Kubo was going to have Jugo and Bazz fill that archetype, it would be better to leave it attached to Ishida. Most of the setup is already there and only needs flushing out. You could expand on this by having Ishida and Bazz get into a big fight at some point after Ishida's announcement as successor. Then either during or after their fight Ishida learns of Bazz's past and knows they both have the same objective, kill Yhwach. In the past its been discussed having Ishida's dad join the final fight against Jugo, but in this scenario I think it'd be a great culmination of the archetype if it was Bazz instead. In that moment you mentioned previously, where Jugo is about to stab Ishida, have Bazz jump in. Then you can essentially have the same ending Bazz gets in the original, just with new context. Maybe Ishida saves him with his shrift, if you wanted him to live, but either way is good (shrug). Regardless, it lets these 3 main quincy get expanded roles, importance and interactions. Also yes please to Bazz/Renji/Rukia interacting more.
@@sukuna716 Oh yeah for sure it's not going to happen, I was speaking in the context of this video only. Specifically about the archetype roles MrTommo was talking about and how it might've been shown better. All indications are the story/events will remain the exact same in the anime. The only "new” stuff we might see are things that Kubo always intended to show, but glossed over due to time and his health.
The relationship of bazz and haschwalth reminds me of a similar relationship and same narrative plot point of Axel and Saix from kingdom hearts. Both we’re friends that plan to betray the organisation initially when joining up but their plans dissolved itself along with their friendship. Axel with the rebellious attitude and fire abilities who didn’t care for their organisations plans, and Saix with the calm attitude following the orders from the leader with no questions ask.
Bazz-B is one of my top two favorite Sternritters along with Askin. Also my personal opinion of why his Vollstandig was underwhelming is tied in with his grudge shown in his flashback. He either couldn't fully access it or simply didn't want to.
Sternritter mostly follow Espada tropes: 1. Gin - Uryuu - the Traitor 2. Hashwalth - Tousen - the one blindly following the leader 3. Askin - Starrk - the Laid back who doesn't want to fight 4. Lille - Barragan - the arrogant loosing against his own power 5. Gerard - Harribel - the warrior taken down by the Leader 6. Quilge - Ulquiorra - the one Fighting with Ichigo and left to guard HM 7. Bambietta - Nnoitra - the Crazy one 8. Bazz-B - Grimmjow - self -explanatory 9. Pernida - Wonderweiss - not the sharpest and using hands for power 10. Giselle - Luppi - the pervert WHO looks very feminine 11. Pepe - Zommari - dark-skinned and using Love 12. BG9 - Szayel - closest to a scientist we got 13. As Nodt/Liltotto - Aaroniero - As Nodt for messing up with Kuchikis and dying to Rukia and Liltotto for.the Gluttony 14. Mask - Yammy - the big stupid one who turns out to be stronger than expected
I think that's what excites me most, if the anime is adding on and extending things, I really hope that means Kubo will expand on what Bazz B will be involved in
I am glad that you are doing great with this channel. I remember a petty twitter dispute in which you were accused of copying from another Bleach content creator. Although it seems they have isolated you, but your content shines through. Nobody has been able to churn out content this consistently, so massive respect! Hope you grow even further 👍
I don't feel like Bazz B's dynamic with haschwalth was shoehorned in because the whole backstory paid off their earlier interactions and gave us more depth and information about these two that was much needed. I think Bazz B still held resentment towards ywach but he probably still blindly followed him because maybe he thought he wasn't strong enough to challenge him. It makes sense to me.
My favorite Bazz-B moment: His fight with Renji, that was so funny, they do have a lot in common! Fight: I'm a huge 9th fan and married to Kensei (in my head at least 🤣). I'd love to see these two fight, that would have been awesome. But I also would like him to fight Byakuya, who's so calm & collected and different from him!
His Vollständig wings reminded me of steel pipes, usually carried around by punks/delinquents, which is kinda like what his overall design and personality is representing
I think a really cool vollstandig for Bazz-B would've been to give him a giant burning halo with 5 of the little wings he has on either side but make smoke trail off the ends of each of them
A neat thing might be if his fire changed colour so maybe, during his vollstandig, his fire becomes pink and maybe just before he dies it goes black both to represent that his life is over with his fire losing its colour, its "life" but also since his real name is Bazzard Black.
I have mixed emotions on the Stern Ritter. I like most of them, a lot, but at the same time I'm not super invested in any of them or at least only in a handfull of them. But the light you cast on him does change my perspective on Bazz. Thanks for the great character analysis, you are the best Mr Tommo!
Wow this video addition was expertly done! You gave us the macro and micro scale of Bazzard Black. I originally disregarded Bazz-B as a hot-headed (pun intended), brash one-note rebel, but you explained his personal arc in captivating fashion! That last bit where Jugo died with the close-up of Bazz-B's token in his hand really got at me. People do many things to attain power, yet that same power destroys them... and their friends....
What i like about sternritters is that they are VERY efficient combatants , they will do anything to fulfill their objective which is something u dont see in shounen that much due to pride and ideology being involved in such storylines.
Yuuki Ono for bazz-b fits very well. When I was reading the TYBW arc, every time I read his B’s speech bubble I would hear a slightly deeper ikkaku voice in my head lmao.

I mean, he was just pretending to be loyal to get close to Yhwach and not raise suspicion - and waiting for the right time to come to act on his revenge plan. I believe his miscalculation was believing that Yhwach was not going to betray them. That moment enraged him, just showing that Yhwach was really as evil as he imagined. Anyway, that's my theory, my take on his story. Curiosity: You call the girls "Bambis" 🤣 In Brazil, we call them Fem! Ritters. Among them, my favorite is Candice 💕
I would really love addition of a Kensei vs Bazz-B fight. Kensei is 2nd most cool vizard and Kubo did him dirty in my opinion. My favourite moment for Bazz Astra is his death - emotional, meaningfull. That's how Renji vs Byakuya should have ended. That kind of impact
I'm happy we'll get to see fights we didn't see from him like fighting Rukia & Renji and Shinji as well and his fight against Haschwalth could be extended.

I think the Rukia and Renji vs. Bazz-B fight is the best one to expand upon for Bazz's character. I feel that Rukia and especially Renji tend to encounter one big bad guy and then spin their wheels in minor conflicts for the rest of the arc. In the Sternritter's case, Rukia gets As Nodt and Renji gets Mask. I'd like it if they got another big fight and it might as well be with Bazz. That in turn would give Bazz a deeper connection with the heroes, more integrated into the story, and just as he's about to be betrayed and join up with the Shinigami anyways.
Going off of the idea of Bazz-B being smarter than we think, I wonder if Bazz-B picked up his heat aura from Yamamoto before his battle with Hitsugaya. He did get blasted by Yamamoto’s flames during the first invasion
I kinda liked that they didn't revolve around Ichigo. It's nice to see antagonists exist outside the MC, because it makes the story's world feel more dynamic when they finally do interact or their actions affect the MC down the line. That being said, there was something to be desired overall but I think Kubo was trying something different and didn't have the time to fully commit to the scale of this arc. But now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder how this arc would've felt if they pulled a "Sasuke Shippuden" and had us follow Ishida for a while. All that missing quincy characterization could've fit in there.
No matter how much time passes, the effectiveness of his power will always surprise me. It's just fucking fire but it's so lethal and always gets the job done as he one shots NUMEROUS characters with it
My speculation as to why Yhwach didn't kill Bazz B after the assassination attempt was that he already linked with Jugram at that point and maybe his compassion for his friend kinda rubbed off on Yhwach This also may explain how he survived the Auswählen. Kinda similar how Bazz B offseted some of Yamamoto's fire, maybe there was a similar reishi mechanism there for Jugram's abilities unconsciously?

Bazz never actually wanted revenge he just needed an excuse to get to jugo which is why he constantly say he wanted to fight jugo as said by littoto and Bazz b never fully devoted himself and conformed to Yhwach

Bazz b believes jugo to be the cause of his loss of self worth which is why he tried to start fights with jugo in an attempt to regain his sense of worth, he couldn’t fathom the fact that jugo was superior and held more worth than him which is why he rejects this idea and tries to regain his self worth by beating Jugo and in death he finally accepts the reality as it is

I thought this back then and I still think it now when I first saw Bazz B I said he was the Pokémon Hoenn Elite four member Sydney in a different universe
Seeing your video I thought of Sanji and how he seeks aimless in some arcs finding something to do but always comes in to fulfill some crucial role, spice things up, or help create variety and unknown. I think that was the effect intentional or not Kubo had with this character and I enjoy it quite a bit when it's reasonable with the character and context of the story not just "X character fell through a wall and now he's here then blasted off into a different scene by a bomb".
An idea for his volstandigg, why doesn’t he get wings in his boots to really bring home the rebellious side and maybe the halo could be vertical and behind his head with points poking upward almost making him look like a devil?
I wish his Vollstandig had something like wings of flames and they had the individual things in between he already has to represent the burner fingers. Maybe as he uses them the things would light up with how many fingers he used. Or something other than whatever the hell his one now was supposed to be
I haven't fully read TYBW though I am familiar with the bulk of the story at least. Your videos covering the material have been quite helpful while I round up the manga volumes for myself. Bazz B is an interesting character though and I hope they give him just a bit more direction in the anime.
The Volstandig wings are meant to represent matches. I’m also glad Bazz and Ichigo never fought. It just wouldn’t make sense. They had no meaningful interaction the way Ichigo did with Grimmjow. My biggest problem with Bazz is that his hair isn’t Red.

Shinji deserves at least one or two fights in this arc. Kubo did him dirty and I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing a battle between Shinji and bazz b.

Well the whole „no interaction with Ichigo dilemma” could have been solve quite easily, by making Grimmjow or Renji the rival or Bazz-B. Because they fallow the same pattern they could have given Bazz-B a proper critique, dialogue exchange or contrast during their fights and showcase even further the development of those characters.
Bazz B is the Grimmjow of the Sternritters.
For a long time I've used the name 'Dirk Buzzard' as my alias when I order packages or meet people at a bar and when I saw Kubo use the name Bazzard Black I was so fucking excited 😂

I remember Bazz-B was one of the first Sternritters where I thought "Oh, these guys are a real threat"
I think part of the problem with Bazz B is that his relationship with Hashwalth got kind of pushed to the side in favor of Hashwalth's rivalry with Uryu. And since Kubo didn't work him into the Uryu/Hash rivalry somehow nor give him another ally/enemy to play off of he lost direction as a character and just kind of "bounced around" as you said while Kubo tried to figure out what to do with him.
Hopefully the anime rectifies this b/c the guy definitely has potential especially if his fight with Renji is fleshed out. The two had such great chemistry despite so little screen time together.
I agree. I always thought it would have been super interesting if Kubo somehow got Bazz B liltoto and Giselle to team up with Uryu in the sternritter rebellion arc against ywach🤔 but hopefully he gets a more fleshed our relationship with renji in the anime
Totally agree. I feel bad for Uryu coming out of this arc. His Quincy heritage is a huge part of his character but they turn out as monstrous and amoral as the Shinigami perception make them to be. Redemption for Bazz would have been great for Uryu's development doing away with Ywach's regime ushering a modern Era for the Quincy. They would great foils for each other too and on theme with many of Kubo's pairings a la 6th division's Renji and Byakuya.
I can't wait to see how he gets shown in the anime, I hope they do him good

I always thought a good Vollstandig for Bazz would have been two huge hands for wings so when he uses his burning finger techniques the hand wings would copy him on a large scale.

I think if Kubo was going to have Jugo and Bazz fill that archetype, it would be better to leave it attached to Ishida. Most of the setup is already there and only needs flushing out. You could expand on this by having Ishida and Bazz get into a big fight at some point after Ishida's announcement as successor. Then either during or after their fight Ishida learns of Bazz's past and knows they both have the same objective, kill Yhwach.
In the past its been discussed having Ishida's dad join the final fight against Jugo, but in this scenario I think it'd be a great culmination of the archetype if it was Bazz instead. In that moment you mentioned previously, where Jugo is about to stab Ishida, have Bazz jump in. Then you can essentially have the same ending Bazz gets in the original, just with new context. Maybe Ishida saves him with his shrift, if you wanted him to live, but either way is good (shrug). Regardless, it lets these 3 main quincy get expanded roles, importance and interactions.
Also yes please to Bazz/Renji/Rukia interacting more.

@@sukuna716 Oh yeah for sure it's not going to happen, I was speaking in the context of this video only. Specifically about the archetype roles MrTommo was talking about and how it might've been shown better. All indications are the story/events will remain the exact same in the anime. The only "new” stuff we might see are things that Kubo always intended to show, but glossed over due to time and his health.
Can you imagine Bazz with Toshiro's zanpakuto ability? That's honestly who I was hoping would steal it.

Tekking101 made me a solidified Bleach fan and MrTommo kept me attentive and fresh to different perspectives.
The relationship of bazz and haschwalth reminds me of a similar relationship and same narrative plot point of Axel and Saix from kingdom hearts.
Both we’re friends that plan to betray the organisation initially when joining up but their plans dissolved itself along with their friendship. Axel with the rebellious attitude and fire abilities who didn’t care for their organisations plans, and Saix with the calm attitude following the orders from the leader with no questions ask.

I think Bazz might be my favorite Sternritter. It’s close between him, Gremmy, As, and Askin
Bazz-B is one of my top two favorite Sternritters along with Askin. Also my personal opinion of why his Vollstandig was underwhelming is tied in with his grudge shown in his flashback. He either couldn't fully access it or simply didn't want to.

10. Giselle - Luppi - the pervert WHO looks very feminine
11. Pepe - Zommari - dark-skinned and using Love
12. BG9 - Szayel - closest to a scientist we got
13. As Nodt/Liltotto - Aaroniero - As Nodt for messing up with Kuchikis and dying to Rukia and Liltotto for.the Gluttony
14. Mask - Yammy - the big stupid one who turns out to be stronger than expected

Young Toshiro + Hallibel would lose. Adult Toshiro alone could definitely kill Bazz B. Yoshiro's adult Bankai is basically Ice Yamamoto.
I think that's what excites me most, if the anime is adding on and extending things, I really hope that means Kubo will expand on what Bazz B will be involved in

I don't feel like Bazz B's dynamic with haschwalth was shoehorned in because the whole backstory paid off their earlier interactions and gave us more depth and information about these two that was much needed. I think Bazz B still held resentment towards ywach but he probably still blindly followed him because maybe he thought he wasn't strong enough to challenge him. It makes sense to me.
My favorite Bazz-B moment: His fight with Renji, that was so funny, they do have a lot in common!
Fight: I'm a huge 9th fan and married to Kensei (in my head at least 🤣). I'd love to see these two fight, that would have been awesome. But I also would like him to fight Byakuya, who's so calm & collected and different from him!

I think a really cool vollstandig for Bazz-B would've been to give him a giant burning halo with 5 of the little wings he has on either side but make smoke trail off the ends of each of them
A neat thing might be if his fire changed colour so maybe, during his vollstandig, his fire becomes pink and maybe just before he dies it goes black both to represent that his life is over with his fire losing its colour, its "life" but also since his real name is Bazzard Black.
I have mixed emotions on the Stern Ritter. I like most of them, a lot, but at the same time I'm not super invested in any of them or at least only in a handfull of them. But the light you cast on him does change my perspective on Bazz. Thanks for the great character analysis, you are the best Mr Tommo!

Wow this video addition was expertly done! You gave us the macro and micro scale of Bazzard Black. I originally disregarded Bazz-B as a hot-headed (pun intended), brash one-note rebel, but you explained his personal arc in captivating fashion! That last bit where Jugo died with the close-up of Bazz-B's token in his hand really got at me. People do many things to attain power, yet that same power destroys them... and their friends....
What i like about sternritters is that they are VERY efficient combatants , they will do anything to fulfill their objective which is something u dont see in shounen that much due to pride and ideology being involved in such storylines.
Yuuki Ono for bazz-b fits very well. When I was reading the TYBW arc, every time I read his B’s speech bubble I would hear a slightly deeper ikkaku voice in my head lmao.

I just disagree with one point: I do think Bazz calculated everything. I mean, he was just pretending to be loyal to get close to Yhwach and not raise suspicion - and waiting for the right time to come to act on his revenge plan. I believe his miscalculation was believing that Yhwach was not going to betray them. That moment enraged him, just showing that Yhwach was really as evil as he imagined. Anyway, that's my theory, my take on his story.

I would really love addition of a Kensei vs Bazz-B fight. Kensei is 2nd most cool vizard and Kubo did him dirty in my opinion. My favourite moment for Bazz Astra is his death - emotional, meaningfull. That's how Renji vs Byakuya should have ended. That kind of impact

Finally an analysis on my fave sternritter🔥🔥🔥🔥😁 awesome vid Tommo!! I rlly hope he gets more to do and they fix some of the writing inconsistencies with his character in the anime!!
I think the Rukia and Renji vs. Bazz-B fight is the best one to expand upon for Bazz's character. I feel that Rukia and especially Renji tend to encounter one big bad guy and then spin their wheels in minor conflicts for the rest of the arc. In the Sternritter's case, Rukia gets As Nodt and Renji gets Mask. I'd like it if they got another big fight and it might as well be with Bazz. That in turn would give Bazz a deeper connection with the heroes, more integrated into the story, and just as he's about to be betrayed and join up with the Shinigami anyways.
Going off of the idea of Bazz-B being smarter than we think, I wonder if Bazz-B picked up his heat aura from Yamamoto before his battle with Hitsugaya. He did get blasted by Yamamoto’s flames during the first invasion
I kinda liked that they didn't revolve around Ichigo. It's nice to see antagonists exist outside the MC, because it makes the story's world feel more dynamic when they finally do interact or their actions affect the MC down the line. That being said, there was something to be desired overall but I think Kubo was trying something different and didn't have the time to fully commit to the scale of this arc.
But now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder how this arc would've felt if they pulled a "Sasuke Shippuden" and had us follow Ishida for a while. All that missing quincy characterization could've fit in there.

My speculation as to why Yhwach didn't kill Bazz B after the assassination attempt was that he already linked with Jugram at that point and maybe his compassion for his friend kinda rubbed off on Yhwach
This also may explain how he survived the Auswählen.
Kinda similar how Bazz B offseted some of Yamamoto's fire, maybe there was a similar reishi mechanism there for Jugram's abilities unconsciously?

@@km2460 Bazz b’s character is about self worth Yhwach broke it because he thought jugo was superior to Bazz b. Bazz b believes jugo to be the cause of his loss of self worth which is why he tried to start fights with jugo in an attempt to regain his sense of worth, he couldn’t fathom the fact that jugo was superior and held more worth than him which is why he rejects this idea and tries to regain his self worth by beating Jugo and in death he finally accepts the reality as it is

Seeing your video I thought of Sanji and how he seeks aimless in some arcs finding something to do but always comes in to fulfill some crucial role, spice things up, or help create variety and unknown. I think that was the effect intentional or not Kubo had with this character and I enjoy it quite a bit when it's reasonable with the character and context of the story not just "X character fell through a wall and now he's here then blasted off into a different scene by a bomb".

An idea for his volstandigg, why doesn’t he get wings in his boots to really bring home the rebellious side and maybe the halo could be vertical and behind his head with points poking upward almost making him look like a devil?
I wish his Vollstandig had something like wings of flames and they had the individual things in between he already has to represent the burner fingers. Maybe as he uses them the things would light up with how many fingers he used. Or something other than whatever the hell his one now was supposed to be

Bazz B is an interesting character though and I hope they give him just a bit more direction in the anime.
The Volstandig wings are meant to represent matches. I’m also glad Bazz and Ichigo never fought. It just wouldn’t make sense. They had no meaningful interaction the way Ichigo did with Grimmjow. My biggest problem with Bazz is that his hair isn’t Red.

I just finished reading TYBW and Bazz-B is my favorite Sternritter! His ability is so cool! Plus when I read is backstory he isn’t necessarily a bad guy. His friend with Jugram was so sad. I felt really bad for him. I can’t wait to see him in the anime adaption!
19:18 it’s their epithet that “competes them.” You’ve even discussed this before. As Nodt was fearful, long before Yhwach blessed him. It’s not the Sternritter that expresses their shrift, but the other way around. Bazz-B in no different in that.
