Marine drive is the most beautifully laid boulevards in the southern part of mumbai. It is around 3.5 kms long road around the coastline where you can trek facing the sea and with the calmness of water around..you can run/walk/sit here..for the best sunsets around mumbai come here for a evening stroll. Spectacular view of the high rise buildings and sea is what you can come here for.. evening breeze is also very pleasant to spend time here you can just sit here. Marine drive starts from nariman point and ends at lovely chowpatty beach where you can enjoy local street cuisines as well.
This place is also called as queen’s necklace as the street lights in the night on the curve c- shaped road looks like sea is wearing pearls.. it is one of the most romantic places in mumbai it is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE
