During the first inside shot...the outside temperature went crazy....from 13.5 Celsius to 16 Celsius within seconds. Probably the heat from the engine is affecting the outside temp sensor.
I do have the same issue on my E class from time to time. But I highly doubt it's because of the engine, that would be a very stupid design fault and make the sensore basically useless. My best guess is that the sensor was still on 13C when he parked the car, came back 2-3 hours later when the temperature went up, and the car didn't imediatly realise the temperature has changed.
To be fair the power output in aggregate has not been the best when you look at what's being pushed in Europe now , new Audi A7 with pitiful power , same with the mercs that have decent engine but refuse to give their standard cars a fair amount of power , ten years ago e320 is the same power as the new Audi A7 , seems fucked up to me . I know the overall performance will be better but for pure power it's like what the hell man .

Würde keinen 4-Zylinder mehr wollen, und beim nächsten Mal solls ein V8 werden bei mir.

1/4 mile in 11,93s is actually quicker than RS3 without OPF (12.20s measured by carwow) which is quite impressive for a 2.0l 4cyl. engine. Even 200km/h + is solid for that matter. Good job AMG!

I'm surprised how linear the acceleration is up to 265 km/h. Usually cars become very slow after 200 and the power drops off especially 4 bangers. But that thing keeps pulling stong.
@@skotoze970 It will have the A45S engine with electric motors. Sort of a mini-F1 car, it will be crazy fast. The electric motors will push the low range performance and the ICE will kick in for the high speed work. I think it's a good strategy, because in many European countries you are taxed depending on the CO2 emissions and size of your engine. The current C63 is totally not efficient for its time, too big of an engine with "only" 469 HP. The new C63 will sell better because it's a hybrid, finally an AMG I can lease then :)

421 HP from 2 liter and 4 cylinders, impressive but you can't stop wunder how the engine will hold up at 100000 km or 200000 km for that matter. Can say the engine only using a single turbocharger but that boost up to 2.1 bar of pressure to make over 400 HP. That's a high boost for a stock engine.

Eigentlich ein halber E63s Motor. Aber der hat nur 612 Ps. Müsste mit der Literleistung von 211 Ps dieses A45s eigentlich dann 842 Ps haben😁 Der Motor des A45s hat einen Ladedruck von 2,1 bar. Das ist sehr viel für so einen kleinen Benzinmotor. Würde micht echt interessieren, wie viele Km so ein Motor hält.
This thing with just a tune will probably destroy most N/A big V8 sports cars.. this definitely shows the direction cars are going in. Smaller displacement turbo engines with power matching that of yesteryears high performance V8s. It shows in the larger more expensive car segment too with the rumored next generation C63 AMG going to be a Hybrid 4 cylinder turbo. Itll probably use this same engine

RS3 always was only drag 0-100 car. Handling and traction of audi vs merc/ford/honda/renault was always lower and will be, because of bad engine position in line of front Axle :) this 0.2-04sec diffrence doesnt matter when it lose so many seconds on track....

Dragy measures 1/4 mile with a foot of rollout, carwow measures without. My 2018 RS3 has done 11.79 s so far, also measured with Dragy.
