That is awesome! Great job and wonderful crochet items. Nice variety! My hubby and I just did our first craft show too and I was surprised by how well we did. Bit of advice from one crafter to another. I would advise going back and editing what you called the baby green alien with big ears. The company that owns its character name actually has people who look for copyright infringement and send out cease and desist orders frequently and they are, from what I hear, relentless! So anything you make that had a resemblance to any character owned by the parent company of the big famous M. Mouse be sure to rename them to a descriptive name rather than a copyrighted one. I would honestly do that with any character resembling items. That said you may be able to say something like “green alien inspired by y-d-.”and be safe from that infringement because you aren’t saying that is what it is just that it was the inspiration for it. It’s so much easier if the artistic representation of characters is done in a 2 dimensional medium like drawing because then you can call it “fan art” and everything is just ducky. Oh well. Hope this info helps keep you creating great amigurumi but also keeps you safe from corporate vultures. Hope all is well and that your business grows to exactly what you’d like it to be. 😊
I think you did great for your first craft show! Next, you will do more and you’ll keep doing well. Merry Christmas to ya!! Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait to see what you do next year! Is there a free pattern for the octopus? It is precious!!
