Amazing video. This is one of those commanders that spoke to me big time when the deck came out. I arrived at a similar build but am also working on a land walk build that is merfolk-heavy.
FYI you can put everything counters on opponents lands and creatures. I have used that to trigger islandwalk abilities and things I want to steal with peer pressure that didn't have the same creature type.
@@levisdeckboxYeah it’s funny when they are like thanks thinking it’s group hug when I’m putting an everything token on their creatures. Then I turn all lands into creatures and take them with peer pressure.
Definitely a great land to include, I try play mostly budget so a $20+ card is usually a no go for me unless I already have it Hahha. That sounds like a fun version as well!
I just played with this. Turn 7. My opponent has 38 life. I have 3 life. I have 3 cards in exile, 16 cards im graveyard and 32 cards in my hand. Everything else is om the battlefield. I have 46 creatures. Im about to swing for 300 damage.. andddd... I mill myself thanks to the frog dude. Haha. No seriously this deck is powerful and so cheap. Ill check out more of your decks
@EnemyToad I had 46 creatures, and a hand size of 32.. for certain there was compelled draw in there. It performed great though. Just have to be mindful of interactions. Definitely my favorite Changeling deck
Omo is so good because there is so many different ways you can build it. Plus when new sets come out you can just add cards to Elmo and take other cards out to try different things. I have this deck in paper and pretty much every set I've added a new card. It is so fun
@@levisdeckbox plus new lands as well like three tree City. It's really fun. I actually planned to use her in the 99 of a in a door to nothingness deck. I'm just going to blink her and make everything counters on the lands I have to produce the double Woberg I need!! A great Deck tech though. Thank you!!!
Went the opposite way and focused on rangeling and lands payoff. Will consider going this route in case people get too quickly annoyed on Maze's End/Field of the Dead/Dark Depths wins. So far its bordering to yes.
@@levisdeckbox mine's almost together as well, I got a few more cards coming in the mail hopefully this week then I'll put an updated deck list on The moxfield lol. It was kind of hard deciding on what direction I wanted to take her
Hahha yeah he’s pretty nuts but I think he’s like $20+ last I check, there’s a sliver that makes slivers unblockable I’m pretty sure so eh same diff lol
@@levisdeckbox Fair enough, I think the guy I'm talking about is actually like under a buck. There's one that gives all your creatures horsemanship from one of the old portal sets it's super expensive but there was a recent printing of a couple cards that give it and they're like under five bucks for sure.
Nice video man! Appreciate the help, just got the deck a few days ago and it works like crazy but every vido is focused on lands and I'm a creature player so I was wondering which strategy would work to play with more creature and less lands!
Amazing video. This is one of those commanders that spoke to me big time when the deck came out. I arrived at a similar build but am also working on a land walk build that is merfolk-heavy.
Thank you! That’s the best part of this commander, there’s SO MANY ways you can build it. Always cool to see other peoples takes!

Oooh I didn’t think of that with peer pressure, good call

Oh that’s so mean 😂😂
This is the way I went. Merfolk with uslandwalk, a few other landwalk creatures, and some other landwalk lords like Eladamri.
This is the opposite of what Volo, guide to monsters wants to do and I LOVE it!
Literally opposites, I love it lol
Good video and some choice picks for your deck!
Thank you!
Three Tree City? Would go great here.
I went landfall/X spells with my Omo deck. Just leaned into what the precon was trying to do, but turbo charged.

Dude that’s nuts, maybe don’t use Grolnok then 😂😂 thanks man glad you like it
but he exiles not draws - so unless you had a draw effect on attack you shouldn’t lose until your draw step

Yeah it sounds a little harder to pilot than your average deck haha I’m ok with that, ive got a few decks like that
Dont forget those domain cards! They hit extra different in omo when a land has an everything counter on it 😉
Ooh didn’t think about that! Not sure if I’d have room lol

Yes! Any deck that cares about a certain tribe is a possible include for Omo, I love it

Best thing is you can still run a mazes end package In a list like this!
I'm working on this commander as well, I think she's so awesome.
Just ordered some of the cards a few days ago, almost got the whole list together! Probably will have to wait a little longer but almost there haha

Anytime! I didn’t care for the land side as much either. I’ll be putting the rest of the list together at Magic con so I’m stoked to give it a try!
This looks sick! I've just been running her as hydra mommy.
Thank you! Simic hydras also sounds fun lol
this deck is hot
Thank you!
