I'm hooked on these Monster truck videos now on youtube. Man I miss them. If USHRA wasn't scripted like wrestling then Monster truck would have been bigger then Nascar today. I mean they use to broadcast them on TNT and ESPN in the early 90's. Why they stop?
I agree, but it was easier to take the stifled winter season when you knew it was building to an intense out door stretch. Also the two obstacle indoor track led to some pretty interesting rides.
1990 TNT Monster Trucks (Hypothetical) Points Standings (After Race 1 TV/YT): 1 Gravedigger - Dennis Anderson 9 2 Jersey Outlaw - Mike Wine 7 3 Awesome Kong - Steve Cain 5 Wild Hair - Marvin Smith 5 Thunder Chicken - Kid Rerig 5 6 Mad Dog - Jon Breen 3 Clydesdale - Bennett Clark 3 Mopar Magic - Gary Wiggins 3 9 USA-1 - Steve Wilke 2 Night Life II - Dave Weiczoreck 2 Buffalo Tremor II - Johnny Kwasniewski 2 12 Equalizer - David Morris 1 King Krunch - Scott Stephens 1 Star Monster - Chris Tuffley 1 Liquidator - Bob Fisher 1 Pony Express - Anthony Fortier 0
1990 was in my opinion the last true season where independent teams had a real shot at winning a championship, bigfoot won, but it could've easily been carolina crusher or usa-1 again
Thanks for posting these videos. Reliving my childhood as I watch these. I wish they still raced in a points series like in the old days.
I miss old monster trucks
Army armstrong with scott douglas, absolutely amazing. The hay days right here.
I was here!! Miss these days
I have the 89 events now. Having trouble with them, but as soon as I can I will get them on here.
15:15 Steve Wilkie "three words - It's on the floor" Well, we never said he could count, we said he could drive LOL.
20:48 CRUNCH of the Week Rod Litzau and USA-1 say “Hello, wall!” In Chicago last season

I always ask myself that very same question all the time, Lone Wolf. The answer still eludes me nonstop and that sucks.
Scripted?
@@Da_SpongeGun the bigfoot team ran snakebite to sell toys and drama
Bob Fisher's Liquidator is the old 1989 Jersey Outlaw that he bought from Nick Rossi and Mike Wine. And painted it to the Liquidator.
Very nice truck.

I remember them kicking Bigfoot out after 1989 because he use to beat everybody ha ha
Needless to say, Chandler wasn't too happy about that.
I have the 92 event. I know of one person who has the 89 event and he won't share it.
