I WAS THERE! My dad worked for one the sponsors and we had box seats. Met the drivers, got all sorts of swag, all that before the race stuff. This is the event that got me hooked for life. Grave Digger!!!!
I remember this as the first event that I ever recorded back when I was about eight years old. I fell in love with monster trucks from that point on and followed it as closely as I could all the way through the end of the PENDA Points Series. I think they aired a condensed 30 minute version of the show on TSN in Canada. I watched my taped episodes so many times over the years that I am sure that the commentary was different on the version I had, even though it was still Army and Scott.
I love how Scott Stephens spearheaded the rally to get Bigfoot #8 banned from competition only to have the Bigfoot crew bring in the older less advanced #4 and wipe the floor with him.
If Scott did less talking and more adjusting on KRUNCH; perhaps he may have gotten into the winner circle more often. Instead of making excuse after excuse and blaming other trucks like USA-1 or BIGFOOT.,
Thanks for uploading these videos. im going through the playlist then i'm gonna go through the ones under the video category, starting at the end of the list
I always felt like they shouldve ran them on the grass on the front stretch like they did in Charlotte in the late 90's. That pit lane is just too damn narrow, especially for the old school trucks which were wider and heavier. Im sure fans wouldve preferred to watch them go faster than this.

As I watch more of these I realize how Kris Chapman improved and became a really nice addition and reporter on these shows.
I was in 8th grade when Tufff Trax aired. And look at Scott Douglas when he had hair! hahaha
I not only like the monster trucks I also like trying to see who's still in the pulling world as well
