By the age of 19, he became the youngest ever submission grappling World champion, conquered the Asian promotion One and is teasing a potential move to MMA. It's time to inspect the rising phenom’s path from kid’s division to the pinnacle of the sport.

@@Bouldah Yeah, watching this highlight and going through several of his other matches he does seem to enter into clinches and change levels in a way that leaves himself very exposed. Only time will tell, and hopefully a solid coaching staff will fix these things.

With your support, we hope to make jiu-jitsu (both gi and no-gi) clips a regular feature on our channel. Moreover, ONE promotion has introduced regular grappling champions on par with MMA champions.

You're consistent, accurate and feature the career making deep cuts of fighters that are all important to their story and the reason we're all interested in them. I legitimately have to watch this kid at 25% speed to fully understand how he does what he does, he's like Vasiliy Lomachenko but in BJJ. Like watching Loma is like watching art, his moves look like they're choreographed because they're that fluid and perfectly timed when he's in the zone. That's exactly how I feel watching this kid.
