I LOVE the Corneran roganrola line.
Also, new lore for them.
They evolved actual eyes to avoid getting hit by pickaxes.
But their kept getting hit, which is why the eyes have a star shape.

You could make it related to the Yanmask?
I like the Gigalith line, since they already are copies of Golem line, seems appropriate the regional forms are too. That being said, they need moustaches and cannons on their back.
Feel like that scrapped fire starter could have worked well as a two stage non-starter line, but definitely understandable why they were scrapped, especially the final stage.
Even if they were cut, I think all these Pokémon looked good in their own way.

I quite the idea of Fire Snake evolving to to a Fire/Ice Type, I'd like to see Slithire and its evos be brought back in some way, but of course alter around the concept to where it'd feel like they'd make more sense
The Meloetta concept sounds like a great post game quest. Making it post game wouldn't put shades on the main legendaries and also could mimick the Delta Episode of ORAS where we could find Deoxys albeit deoxys wasn't the main focus. So in the same vein, the main focus could be to end once and for all the evil theme scheme and rescue a shadown Meloetta in the process, then purifying it.
I think they were all really cute, they all had such cool concepts!
Also I've never heard of this "Corneran gigalith" you're talking about, but it seems very cool
With the meloettas, you could bring them back and make them as a sort of dlc where they're the vocal point (get it, because they sing😎)
Honestly Brandon you’re the person who introduced me to the fakemon community when TH-cam recommended the regional forms video which has Farfetched in it and I’m really happy I clicked on it since not only I ended up subscribing to you and following your Instagram page but I also found other great guys in the fakemon community which makes enjoy the possibilities of what ifs. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see what you’ll do for your next region after everything you learned while creating Cornera
Seeing the thought process of creators like you really helps me with the region that I have been working on for some time.
These were cool ideas and all reasonable... reasons to drop them. Glad to see people come to understand why sound type isn't as good of an idea as it... sounds.

Not sure how I missed the discord this whole time but I'm just recently started watching this series and I have to say your designs as a whole completely blow Pokemon out of the water I wish we seen more mons actually incorporating they're inspirations just an example the shellfish Pokemon Blastoise...not much more needed to say they're but I'm sure you get my point anyways love your channel and please keep making amazing content like this

I think if caftus was a route 1 pokemon it’s original design could’ve been a split evolution, where the original was the male and the current one was the female.

As for another Meloetta form-idea for it instantly came to mind, since we have “singer” and “dancer” forms why not one playing an instrument? It could just go on the Relic Song effect in rotation with the others when she held the right item!
Corneran Swinub is SOOO cute, and I bet the rabbit hay stack idea would've been super cute! it could even work as the only evolution, i like ur choices at the end tho, very reasonable!
It’s super interesting, because sometimes you have ideas and then you realize you’ve gone too far.
Ideas come and go, we go more and more in the details and sometimes we lose the essence of our idea, you transmit it to us really well.
You could say that since the lore is that 4 regions were pulled together by Rakanara that they were regional forms from all 4 of the different regions it there are still ones you wanna keep but feel like you need to scrap.
I think a potential way of “fixing” the dorph line is simply to make dorph heavily effected by nucleo-types.
Basically, just one evolution, let’s say Jackabit, would be a “normal” evo you get by evolving dorph to a certain level, but for whatever reason, dorph doesn’t react normally to nucleo-types, straight up morphing into one of the other two depending on the time of day.
Obviously, the region’s done, you can’t change this, but I thought it would be a simple way to have your cake and eat it too.
to me, slithire feels like a creature you would find in the icy part of hell. could be a great pseudo legendary for a region with heavy biblical or mythological inspiration

I like your Gigalith variant. Yes, there are already to much rock types but this pokemon fits so well and I could absolutly see it as the ace of the electric type gym leader.

I acually work on my own fakemon region. The reasons why you scrapped ideas gives me more clear comcepts and suggest rules
These were just way too good to be scrapped! I probably would’ve kept them but I can still understand the reasoning why you didn’t, but my favorites have gotta be the Swinub and Roggenrola line! Personally I don’t think they had too much going on at all and they were awesome!
My response to the grass ground rabbit mon concept: so just angoramon but with hay as fur covered in some dirt then but also on all 4s
8:12 I made a arcucus kind of pokemon for my region but instead of plates it would have to be trained to change its typing on its own. Their name was kochi-mon! It was based on kool-aid
Have you considered making a video dedicated to fully alien Pokémon (or Fakemon in this case), as in extraterrestrial or space themed Pokémon of every type. There already a few Pokémon that are implied or are stated to have come from space like Clefairy, Beeheyem, Lunatone, Solrock, and the Deoxys, just to name a few examples. Sun and Moon played with this idea a little more with the introduction of the Ultra Beast from Ultra space, by those are more like extradimensional Pokémon rather than extraterrestrial, but still did a good job at pulling off some otherworldly designs. But anyway, I hope you make video about something like that someday.
I do like the idea for regional Gigalith but as that Gigalith is my all time favourite rock type but I can understand your reasoning to scrap it
Speaking of roggenrola line I think the rock/poison typing for salt based line would fit for them (in my fake region based on Poland that I cant make, because I cant into graphics). Atm I have only list of potential mons for it, but Im kinda content with the ideq of salt poisoning and the underground city of salt in Wieliczka.
Seems like something fun to do, albeit, I doubt I would ever be able to do something like making a fan region, and Pokémon, given that I have no idea what constitutes as over-designed, or not looking Pokémon-like.
I think you can switch the swinub line to being a Grumpig line. Like making Spoink more pig like and grounded, and having Grumpig on all fours and the orbs being spikes. Also Spoink kinda sounds like Skunk if you squint your ears. The colors might have to change to differentiate it from grumpigs, but I think it would be a better Pig based 'mon idea

l love both Grass types and rabbits so the Grass/Ground haystack bunny would've been adorable to see.

Yeeeaaahhh the Sound type, I didnt think it was a good idea in the first place, but I didnt had the heart to say it in the first place. it was weird for Normal to a lot of sound-based moves but hey it still fits
I kinda like the scrapped Fire starter line over the Flambabe line but I understand why it was scrapped
I wouldn't say your dwarf bunny line is the same as Eevee. There are similarities to be sure, but I see the bunnies as an ohmage to Eevee. I mean , Tyrogue has three evolutions, and is not considered an Eevee clone.
It’s more that eevee is the only mon not to keep any of its types when it evolves
All those scrapped designs were good. And I guess we both had the same idea of a fire ice final evolution starter cause... I kinda did the same with my Rookbar fire starter Urochmos who is a fire ice prehistoric bull. But great vid.
Lol, fire/ice seems to be a somewhat popular fakemon starter type, I also have a fire/ice muskox starter.

aww i would have loved to see the new forms of meloetta 🥲 they sound so cool, even if they weren’t going to be in the main story of the conera region i still would of like to see their designs, also that could be a new video concept to your “pokemon of every type” series 👀 but base them off different song types

i really really like how the Corneran Gigalith line looks
and like, so what if they ended up kinda being copies of the alolan golem line? the original Gigalith line is already kinda a copy of the Kantonian Golem line that sets itself apart with its stats and abilities. sure it's also a pure rock type instead of rock/ground but i guarantee the Golem line would be pure rock too if it was released later

Slithire and it's line were so cool sad to see them scrapped I personally liked its design and concept alot
But I am also happy it got scrapped because ovisuvius became one of my favourite fakemon of all time

Fun fact: Peccaries are not pig though they look similar. They’re strictly from North America evolve separately from pig; though they did develop the same features through convergent evolution.
Watching these videos inspired me to start writing out my own fake money region based on my home state of Louisiana. And I can appreciate the urge to fill it with regional variants. (Mine has more regional varients than locals, but I came up with a story reason to explain it)

I would keep Dworf but have Jackrabbit be it's only evolution. I think out of all three that works best (even though I love Iglop)
Rogenrola was a miss, should have added them. The tan tones from the machinary would ha helped the design a bit for the alpaca.
Types like sound, cosmic, light and crystal should exist, look at ice and water for example ice is water so it makes sense for them to exist.
You could make Gigalith steel/electric. Pure electric for Rogenrola.
Signature move: Thunder Pick a physical electric attack that does BOTH electric and steel damage.
1/2 damage to ground types.

I would have loved it if you made Nacrabbit into its own standalone Pokémon. It could pass for a modern day Mythical Pokémon imo.
