I can’t decide how I feel about this story… The reader of it is good. I like her voice and presentation of the characters. There elements of the story however, that are frankly just stupid. Or perhaps I should say poorly thought out and written. On the other hand, there is something delightful about several of the characters- especially Tommy and Evelyn and their relationship. Thank you for uploading!
I didn't ever mean to make Evelyn's difficulty to conceive part of my books but when I did, I didn't want to then give and let her have a baby just because I felt sorry for her! I hope you understand :)

It was sad back then that the blame of being childless was put onto women. At least now you can find out who has the problem
Oh definitely - there's so much that can be done these days. I'm very glad fewer women these days than in the 1920s have to face that sadness.
