We are flying all the way to Michigan to reunite my family with their bio brother. He was adopted through foster care and we only recently found him. It was emotional and so excited to see them reunited with their bio brother after so many years!

This is so fun to watch! Tomorrow our entire immediate family (which is about 40 people) are going to be meeting my husbands long lost half brother that was adopted as an infant for the first time. His half sister flew in to Texas from California and his half brother flew in from Virginia. It will be the first time all 7 of his dad and step moms kids will be in the same place at the same time with all their spouses and all their kids. The oldest is 45(his half brother that was adopted) and the youngest is 27(his step brother) we are all very excited

How wild is it that you reunite your kids with parts of their bio family to only find out that you're missing part of your bio family. This episode had me actually smiling the whole time. The beginning in the travels were full of giggles and just so much happiness with Andy.
😂 When Andy put the flower in his mouth, you could see the resemblance to his sisters. ❤😊
Id absolutely love if y'all did a podcast about this story. Id love to hear more about how they felt as kids when their mom never came back for them and what it was like going into foster care and if they were ever adopted out into families. Such a heart wrenching story but heart warming at the same time because they found each other. Im definitely intrigued and look forward to tomorrows vlog and hopefully a future podcast.

My mom found out a couple years ago she has a sister she's never met before as well
In 4 years it'll be 20 years since I've seen my dad
It makes me sad cause I'm in New Jersey with a low income family that lives week to week
And he's in Florida, gonna be 73 this month.. 😢 I really wanna go see him so he can meet my daughter and my son

If any viewer has never been to Upper Michigan... Traverse City. Mchigan is absolutely gorgeous. Grand Traverse Bay is awesome very beautiful.

What a blessing to find any biological family members. It was very emotional to see the reunion. Those hugs said so much. Andy is definitely related to the crazy pieces family. He fit right in like a glove. Can't wait for Melinda's and Jamie's dad to meet Scarlett.
I can only imagine how difficult it would be knowing you guys have positive memories with your mom/grandma and the brother is probably filled with resentment and negative feelings (maybe not, but I would be). But I'm so glad you all found each other. You really do look like family ❤
This is something I was thinking as well. I have a half-sister and we had completely different experiences by one of our parents that is so night and day. Mine was positive and hers was negative and it is so troublesome to try to bear some of her weight of that negativity she has. I know it is not mine to bear but when you have that biological connection it is like you want to instinctively protect, even from past experiences. But yet I still want to cherish my positive memories with that parent and couldn't imagine that negative that she experienced coming from that person I know. It really is a mind-trip and can pull you under if you aren't careful. There is a balance to find but it is tricky so I encourage Bonnie and Joanne ( and the rest of the siblings) to really be careful on that. Doesn't sound like their mom was a villain of sorts but the brother may see it that way and that's okay bc that's his story and that doesn't negate their positive experiences and vice versa back to him.
Can really see the resemblance between Andy , Bonnie and Joanna, you would know they are related. Glad Melinda and Jamie got to see their dad.
Such a neat story, I'm so glad they were able to reconnect after all these years!! I can't wait to hear the rest of the story!!

My step dad found his half sister when he was in his 50s by doing one of those Ancestry DNA kits!! Seemed like a story out of a movie!
Thank you for being willing to share this story. I love seeing your brother - I can see a resemblance to your mom and Aunt. Looking forward to the continuation of the story. I found Bio Dad and his 4 kids through Ancestry and have a close relationship with the oldest, my sister. It is really amazing how you can feel a connection even when you never met.

I have a half sister. Growing up as twin I know we were known in our small community. When we found our half sister, I thought I had hit the jackpot! I grew up with two brothers ( one was my twin) so another girl sounded so wonderful! Genealogy is something that every person should do. Or something everyone should check out. I guess that’s why I watch your family Crazy Piece’s and Crazy Middles you tube. Thank you for sharing!
I just recently met my brother! I was so excited! I would always say I wanted a brother . Never was a hint about him! He looks just like our mother!

I can’t imagine leaving my babies behind. She had to have gone through something very traumatic. Then to keep that secret to the grave. That’s heart breaking. I hope the siblings you had, have had amazing families and lives. I think it’s awesome that you all are getting to meet and get to know one another.
I had a similar experience, I was contacted by a half brother I never knew I had. He was adopted and was looking for family through DNA. After reaching out and actually thinking my uncle might have been his father, my father told all of us that prior to meeting and marrying my mother, he did have a child that was put up for adoption by the mother at birth. He knew about the child but never got to see him. (back in the 60's if you gave up a child for adoption you never saw them.)

That's the thing about not knowing anything about your background. Especially medical. It's so important and vital information especially when you're starting a family and wonder where your children's looks and corks come from.
Sometimes is hard to understand what our parents have been threw leaving some empty answer... like i know I have a half sister somewhere in this world I dont know her name or age but if is God will i hope to met her one day... i cant wait for the rest of this vlog... enjoy ur time with ur brother everyone

I’m really happy you have such a positive outcome. Sadly for my family it wasn’t the same. After 40 years a person in our family was found. Only to emotionally blackmail us into feeing guilty, asking for money, constantly reminding us on what they “missed” out on. It went on for years until finally we just had to cut strings and say no more money. Never heard from them again ❤❤❤❤❤❤.
