I never had new shoes growing up, I wore the pants my brother grew out of with holes in the knees and dirty 90% of the time. Kids were so cruel.

It was so sweet whenever Aurora and Alex were beside each other on the escalator and he said what’s wrong and then picked her up. I was just the sweetest thing ever seen one of your oldest kids in your youngest kid were able to have such a bond like that.❤

Lucas is a cool kid for that. Back to school shopping is so much fun for the kids but it’s easy to get out of hand with budgets. Thought it was super cool that he wanted to hold back on something just because of that. Of course he should be rewarded with them! What a sweet kid

Just a hint from a former Children's shoe salesperson, have the kids stand flat while you measure with your thumb. Their feet will spread a bit when they stand. Love that you donate for the Foster kids. You all are awesome!

This is great advice that I will definitely be using!
They also have to have their weight evenly distributed on both feet. Meaning if they only are trying on one new shoe they need to stand with their feet together that way your able to get a more accurate idea instead of one foot ahead of the other. We just went through this with my youngest. She always wanted to put the foot with the new shoe forward and keep her other foot back. We had a pretty easy shoe shopping experience this year as well which is so nice! I love Aurora’s unicorn shoes! My kids are out of the cute stage in shoes. Now it’s all about being cool 😎.
Definetly Crystal needs to realise , within 6 months the younger children will have grown out of them.
Also make sure your children have had their toe nails cut , an clean socks on , worse thing is some trying shoes on with dirty socks on.

It's so beautiful that you buy a pair of shoes to give away. So many foster children don't get new things and this is such a blessing. I love Max's attitude. He didn't need shoes but he wanted to buy a pair to give away. That's admirable. I thought I would bust a gut when Hannah used her hair as floss and then it got stuck in her teeth😂. I love the relationship Alex has with his younger siblings. It was sweet when her carried Aurora on his shoulders and he took Brody to the Lego store. May God bless you and your family. 😊

It is awsome how humble Luke and Savannah and Mqx are. Thwy don't want expensive shoes. Savannah has been walking around with old shoes. And she doesnt complain. Shows the caracter of these kids.
I also want to have a big family and adopt children it is just so nice to give children and teenagers a home and a family that love them ❤

They start back next month(early August) so this is a little late for really early school shopping. My kids don't start back till Sept we live in upstate NY
Great they all got the shoes they wanted, plus another donation to the foster kids. Well done Max for realising he had enough shoes, but would still like to buy a pair for donation. Savannah sure makes her shoes last. Nice Alex could join you all. Blessings.
Okay I've been thinking of this every year so now I'm going to say it 😂 The kids should be standing up when measuring if the shoe fits. That's how they will wear them and the feet are usually different standing up

I absolutely love what you do for the foster community! Usually I love back to school time but this year is a little different. I lost my job back in may so definitely trying to figure out how I’m going to be able to get things with me just getting back to work. Playing catch-up on bills it’s rough.

You kids are soo lucky you are able to get so many kids such expensive shoes. I was one of just 3 and the most expensive shoes I ever got as a kid was 25-30 dollars. Even when my school shoes got a hole in them at school when I had an accident (that caused me to end up in the emergency room) my parents refused to get me new shoes.
I was waiting for this video I loved the shoes Hannah and Arwen picked out the boys shoes were fire as well can’t wait to meet her and get to know her more I am so excited for this adoption I get so excited for when y’all post mostly excited for the new intro can’t wait for more videos I cry every time y’all give shoes to the kids that are in foster care and don’t have anything that is so amazing at what y’all do for the kids that are in foster care i hope to do this

I wanted to let you know that you need to have the kids stand up straight when you check for size. My dad sold shoes for a very long time and that what he taught us. All the shoes are really nice. I hope you are all having a great day.

The scam that is sneakers is just sad. I’m glad the kids are happy but it makes me angry that they get overpriced more and more every year and everyone keeps up with it when the people making those shoes don’t earn any more money than before. It’s all the rich CEOs pocketing that.

Hey guys it’s Ryleigh. I love how the teen girls have been taking the camera and videoing a lot more than crystal has. Bella has really come out since having to give up parenting her two little brothers to crystal and Aaron after a long time. She’s videoing a lot on TH-cam with the rest of the teen girls. So it’s good to see the teen girls videoing a lot more than crystal has. I love seeing the parents video as well but the teens videoing and Bella being one of those teens and having really come out since her brothers got parents who are adults after her having to parent them for a long time. So love you guys love Ryleigh.

Maybe a Video called ,,eating a color"? If u don't know what i mean, everyone gets a color and only can eat food with the color on it (can be the package too) I'm sorry if u don't understand it I'm really bad at English and actually live in Germany so it's difficult but i understand english rlly good:)
Make sure you are measuring the right toe. Some people have a second toe that is longer than the big toe and a thumb length should be measured from the longest toe. My husband is a case in point. His second toe is permanently crooked because evidently when he was a child they measured from his big toe and his shoes were too small unknowingly....LOVE THIS VIDEO and how you give backup the foster care system....
